Kitty sighed as she entered the kitchen, happy. It was empty, of course, at this time of night, why wouldn't it be? Three o'clock in the morning was a rather strange time for breakfast. But she wasn't really hear for that. No, with all the movement of the Mansion, people were filling one room or another and right now, Kitty needed to be away. The place was too chaotic to think straight and she wasn't a bit tired as she should have been.
Lockheed, her small, purple dragon companion perched on her right shoulder as she slipped her laptop onto the kitchen table. He purred and nuzzled her neck with his nose and she patted his head affectionately.
"I know, boy, I know. I just need to be somewhere quiet though." She opened up her wordpad on the computer, labeled 'Diary' and began typing. Lockheed snorted unhappily and gave a grumbling speech. Kitty seemed to be the only one that could understand the creature, even the monks at the temple she'd visited and found him at couldn't understand him as well as she could. "We'll go swimming next, alright? Just let me get down a few lines first."
Lockheed nodded with a strange, dragon grin and settled, ready to wait for what he wanted to do. The room was dark, nearly black save for the light of her computer. She could just barely see the gleam of it on the refrigerator, cabinets and tiled floor.
Kitty's fingers slowed to a halt against the keys. It was easier to understand herself this way, to just let her hands write and her eyes to read it over. It was like her subconscious could tell her what was going on in her head and she could finally understand it. She was her own therapist.
She snorted aloud and Lockheed flapped his small, leathery wings. "I'm my own shrink, great."

Diary, I've only been back a few days and yet no one has really warmed up to me. It's strange to think that after my travels, no one can take their mind of such blinding guilt as to see a face they knew, cared for. I feel...invisible. It's like my ghostly little talent really has turned me into a ghost...useless. I can't imagine Bobby even remembering our time ice skating on the fountain pond, he's far too wrapped up in...other things. Not that I really fell for him, but I had thought maybe he'd see me again once I returned. Yet, nothing. I don't like feeling invisible...the idea of leaving again has intrigue, but I'm not that kind of girl. I'm not a Logan. I don't pass through and be on my way. I think I'll have my chance to reconnect here, I just have to wait for it...
