Seán woke up, his head aching and his body sore. For a moment, he thought he was back home in Oregon, but the lack of his familiar bedroom wall drawings and burn marks reminded him that he had left that comfort zone and traveled to other parts of the world. Mutants. . . .
With a groan, he rolled over and looked around. A hospital. For mutants. He blinked. What had happened again?
Several beds filled the infirmary room. He couldn't tell how many of them were occupied from where he sat, and eventually he laid back down and stared at the ceiling. Just a minute, he told himself, and I'll leave. But working up the energy to push himself away from the bed wasn't coming as quickly as he had expected.

Johnny was leaning up against the back wall, "No wonder you threw up, you were sick as hell." Johnny look at the watch, he had spent too much time with this kid, he was getting bored. "I had to bring you all the way here, and yeah, I know, 'no one asked me'. Anyway, I've got nothing left to say to you, besides the fact that you look like a skeleton.," Johnny remarked as he stood up and stretched, "See you later emo boy." At that point Johnny was already at the door, ready ti leave.

Seán whipped around to see the guy from the garden standing in the infirmary. His heart began to race and his fingers gripped the bed cloths as he remembered the incident that had taken place previously. The electricity . . . .
The electricity which he could feel in his own body. Seán tried to fight it, he tried to deny that there was any left. Why did it have to be electriciy?
And why the hell did he have to see this guy again?
His ears rang, and he could barely hear what the guy said. Something about sickness and skeletons and emos. Seán figured he was talking to him, but instead of speaking he rubbed his ear as though it would somehow allow him to hear better. Surprisingly enough, the buzzing began to diminish, though it didn't disappear. Seán swallowed in an attempt to free himself of the aftertaste of vomit. But he did nothing to stop the guy at the door from his departure.

Johnny stopped, "Oh before I forget, I should fix up your nerves." John went up to him, and touched his shoulders, absorbing the excess electricity. "If you're still here and ever need someone to talk to, I'm usually free." Johnny turned around and left. He headed back to his room, wondering what the hell was going on through the mind of that kid.
