Steely Resolve (Piotr/Kitty)

Pete grinned as Kitty wrapped herself around him “Sure Katya,” he said with a grin before leaning forward and kissing her again this time softer than what had had in the kisses before this one.

Kitty gave a soft moan and kissed him back slowly. She gave a giggle and pulled away to look at him. "You know, for such a big guy, all tough and everything...you really are a softie. Don't let anyone know, they might take advantage of you." She winked at him and kissed his jaw sweetly.

"It's ok." Pete said kissing her nose in turn before grinning "I will go out and punt a puppy later to solidify my big scary angry man thing i apparently have going for me."

Kitty laughed and slid down, straightening her hair again. They were cute together, she being such a small girl and shy, and Piotr being such a large and powerful mutant...and protective to boot. They fit like pieces of a puzzle, where one lacked, the other made up for. Kitty had always been too shy to take what she needed, or do anything for herself. Her run in with Bobby had made her see just why she usually played the wallflower part, when you step out too far, you get hurt, just like she'd gotten hurt when she made Bobby hers and destroyed Rogue's happiness.

Kitty sighed, Pete wasn't like Bobby, he didn't think like he did or act as he did. And that was what Kitty needed, someone not Bobby, but not just anyone, it had to be Piotr. Something about him made him perfect, everything with Bobby seemed a foolish dream now...but one that had turned into a nightmare. Pete was hers now, and a small, firey instinct rose up fast at the idea that Pete might want anyone else.

Pete watched as Kitty stood on her own feet again and he had to admit that there was something about the girl that was different to everyone else, he didn't know what it was that was different about her but there was definitely something about the smaller brunette that he liked, he just didn't know how to describe it. However Pete was nervous, he had never had a girlfriend before and was completely oblivious as to what he should have been doing with her.

“So,” Pete said “what do you wish to do now?”

Kitty smiled lightly and flashed her eyes at him with interest. Poor Pete, he was so sweet and just didn't know what to do with himself sometimes. "I want to get to know more about you, Pete, is that alright? And..." She laughed. "I'm hungry." How about we head down to the kitchen or out somewhere and grab a bite to eat, sit and chat?"

“Ok.” Pete said extending his large hand to her nervously still not sure what it was that he should have been doing “were should we go eat, or sit?”

Kitty smiled and slipped her small, delicate hand into his larger one. "Uhm, I'm thinking we'll just head to the strip of restaraunts in the Big Apple and figure out what smells good." She gave his hand a small squeeze and looked up at him, her brown eyes soft and healed now, thanks to him. "What kind of foods do you like, Pete?"

"I will eat anything," Pete said with a small smile he truly didn't give a damn where he went so long as he was with the small brunette that he was currently standing with "where do you wish to go to eat Katya?"

Kitty smiled and took his hand, "I've got a great idea for this place just next to the park, you can watch the swans on the pond while you eat on the dock. Come on, I'll drive." She led him down the corridor and to the garages eagerly, excited for their day out together.

"Ok." Pete said as he was lead down the hallway with a slight grin on his face"but if we crash i am never trusting you again"

Kitty laughed, flashing a smile at him. "Oh, I'm not that bad a driver, Logan's just a worry-wart. Besides, if we did crash, you're made of steel and I'll phase." She paused and smiled at him with something more in her eyes. "Together we're unstoppable."
