After Jean asked Alex if there was anything else he should tell her,Alex would raise his eyebrow as he tried to think about anything else she should need to know, even if it was something small. After a good 5 seconds, Alex shook his head and said "I believe I told you everything you need to know"
When Nicole came down, Alex waved hello at the newcomer unaware of the fact that she wanted to play a trick on him. Garret would then mention that he could ease the pain Alex might go through as she tried to remove the barrier, but Jean told the teen that she didn't want to endanger him, despite his tolerance for pain. The F.B.I agent would then offer garret help for control over his ability and told Alex that the only way he was going to get his power was if he didn't enroll in this school.
"Is that some kind of threat? I know that you're probably doing this for the best intentions, but you really shouldn't force people to do something they don't want to do with you're power. It's very unethical" said Alex.

Adam shook his head, "Kid, listen. The ability you have could kill you. For example, if I were to let you have it back right now, you'd die. Xavier can help you control it but I can't let you use it without his help. If I release it now you're going to end up dying because it's something you need a lot of training for. If you really want it then fine but you're putting your life at risk." Adam hated when people didn't listen. The kid was so stubborn, thinking he knew everything. But honestly, Adam wasn't going to force him into anything. If he wanted his ability then fine. He'd just suppress the guy's ability till he was gone so he wouldn't die. ~What's worse is if I let him use it now then he's going to absorb the pain guy's ability and the guy's brain will probably go into shock from it. He doesn't understand how bad it is but if he wants to be stupid then let him be stupid.~

There was a 'click-clak'-ing of claws on a clean wooden surface and a red merle and white Pitbull appeared around a corner. It's head was down and it was sniffing around the floor. A second glance would have told you that the animal was female. A little underweight but still, had that intimidating air about her. Just around 17.5 inches at the shoulder, this girl was no small fry either.
This was Leocadia LeBlanc and one of her powers was shapeshifting. Her favorite form, the red merle pitbull bitch sniffing around the floor. She was new to the Institute and not well known, even though she said the main forms that she took were enough to tell people about her.
Looking up, she crept upto the opening of the front hall and poked her head around, listening intently to what was going on, with a sort of smirk on her face. Moving slightly into the door fame, she sat down facing them, wondering what their reaction would be.

Jean felt a prickle in her mind, an all too familiar of someone lurking and speaking telepathically into her mind. She rejected his voice, but not before Adam told her the predicament the two men were in. She scowled at his move, psychically making him aware he crossed the line. IT was a sensation she wasn't use to, the only presence she allowed was the Professor. But she allowed it to pass, aware that Alex had no concept of his true powers. Adam was simply protecting the mutant and those around him. Jean stared back at Adam for a moment, curious as to why an interest with Alex. Was he just doing his job a part of the FBI, to protect civilians? Jean however understood, with Adam’s telepathic message, releasing the mental blocks would be like lighting high explosive dynamite.
It would take years to master his ability, and similar to like Rogue, he might never have complete control. But as a teacher, Jean only wanted what was best. "I want you to think hard, Alex. Are you certain you can handle your new ability? You say you want to help people, but you might be risking their lives." Jean gave it a little time to sink in, and allowed herself time to come up with a solution. The Professor was able to seal what unstable abilities she had without taking away all her powers. She was still learning to master it, but if she could release what little power he can have without harming people--that might be able to keep him and others safe. "If you want, I can try to allow you to use little of this new power. Besides you cannot master a power if you can’t use it. You won’t have full potential and it will take a lot of physical and mental training."
Adam’s idea of him enrolling wasn’t a terrible idea and Jean saw some truth in it. It wasn’t impossible for someone to learn to control their ability on their own, but having moral support and a teacher with knowledge, such as the Professor had, it helps a great deal. Jean knew that from a personal experience. But the sight of a dog interrupted Jean's thoughts as she felt the presence of a human, understanding the dog was a shape-shifter. The red-head smiled and watched with interest as the dog seem to listen to their discussion .

"To tell you the truth, I don't even know if I can handle it. But, that's only because I don't know what it even is. The only time it manifest itself was when that F.B.I agent was around, and he didn't even tell me what that power was. I'd like to think that I can control it just as well as my super strength in the future, but I won't be able to control it at all if I can't even practice it" explained Alex after Jean asked him if he was certain he could handle his new ability.
Jean would then tell Alex that she could allow him to use a little of this new power giving Alex the impression that whatever this new power of his, it was dangerous and he would need a lot of training to master just a small portion of it.
"Okay, you can unlock some of it. Since you'r giving me the impression that this power is dangerous, I would like to enroll into this school so that I can learn to control what ever this power is" said Alex.
ooc: I know that I'm posting a little early, but I really need to unlock this power ASAP so that I can start this plot another member and I came up with for our characters. And the power mimicry ability has a key role in it.

Garrett was thankful when Miss. Grey had turned down his offer. There was now way to many people, and the young Sympath feared the repercussions of the growing crowd. He in fact absorbed Miss Gray's headache without noticing, along with any minor pains anyone else was feeling. Such was the nature of Garrett's curse. That what his ability was, a curse.
And when the mysterious Agent told him about how he could help him.. Garrett paused. That would be a godsend.. so why was he hesitant? Garrett needed to think on that for a while. So when another person arrived, a bulldog.. Garrett took that opportunity to leave. He need to think for awhile. And he couldn't do that in the growing crowd, could he?
So Garrett skittered up the stairs, as quietly as he could. When he got into his room, he closed the door, secluding himself with his thoughts.
(OOC. Garrett is FIN'ed in this thread. Since he isn't need, and he needs time to think on Adam's offer. And besides, the post cast is getting really big, and Garrett doesn't like crowds, for obvious reasons. And besides I haven't been so good at keeping up :/)

Adam sighed. He really had to be on his way. He had things to do after all. He looked at his Rolex watch and sighed. It was time for him to go. He didn't feel like bothering with this whole situation anymore. It seemed that Jean now had a handle on things so he felt like he could leave it to her. He nodded to Jean. "Alright then. I think I'm just going to leave this to you, Jean, as I really have to go. If you really want then I can take off the blocks but it's up to you at this point. Although if I do it then I'm going to suppress it until I'm gone. Otherwise this kid's going to pass out again. I really have to go so I'd appreciate it if we could speed this up." He smiled at them. He had noticed the Shape-shifting dog but didn't comment. He was now in a hurry and didn't have time for trivial things.

Jean walked up to Alex, and laid her hands on him. This decision was his, but she would only unlock what was necessary. Connecting her mind with his, she searched until Adam’s mental barriers came into view. By only unlocking so he could use a small amount of his power mimicry, Jean wouldn’t have to struggling over powering him and herself with her abilities. It was easy enough and the results were not harmful as she original thought. Stepping back, she did what she was asked to do and nodded that it was a mission success.
"I broke down but only a small portion of the barrier. You’ll able to copy powers of other mutants, perhaps only one at a time and maybe only but a small compared to the original mutant, depending how far you push yourself." She explained, looking to Adam. "I tried to make it so the more he trains and has control over his ability the more your mental barriers lessen, that way he doesn’t have to keep on coming to see me, you or the Professor to unlock his abilities. It is now all up to him on how much he trains and how often he uses his abilities."

When Jean placed her hand on him, he felt a very slight discomfort of pain as she removed some of the restraints Adam placed on his power. As soon as that was done, Alex's mutant ability copied Jean's telekinisis, though there wasn't any signs that he copied such an ability since he needed to learn how to use it. Jean would then explain to Alex that she broke down a very small portion of the barrier and then to Adam that the barrier would weaken as Alex becomes stronger in his abilities.
"Thanks Jean. I guess I'll get going right now in order to settle a few things back at home before coming back which should only take about a week" explained Alex. After all, he did need to move some of his things from his apartment and tell his boss at work that he was going to quit his job at Game Stop. Alex would then walk towards the door in order to get out of the building. After that, Alex opened the door and walked out planing on heading towards the airport right away.

Adam had placed a mental block, that even Jean would have trouble removing, that would prevent Alex from coping Adam's power. He sighed at the new development of things and teleported back to his room. There he dropped onto the bed and went to sleep.

Her ears went forward when Jean smiled and her and a little Pitty grin was offered in returned before she continued to listen to the conversation, now curious. When Jean laid her hands on a certain guy, Leo could help but trot into the room and then sat by one of the chairs in the hall and watched them. She wasn't too interested in the other two and ignored most of what went on, that was until one of them left, then the other one left as well. A smirk came onto her canine face which was rather freaky but then, she transformed back into her natural human face and leant on the chair and raised one eyebrow at Jean.
That was some....rather nifty work there, sweetheart. I take it being that good takes a load of practise?
Leo didn't know anything about Jean apart from her name and that her hair colour was perfectly natural, which always made the brunette slightly jealous. But since she had just got here, there was no point in being a bitch to anyone just yet.

The shape-shifter suddenly transformed into her original form, or at least her human form. Jean watched everyone leave; now the girl and herself the only ones left standing in the entrance of the Xavier institute. The red-head turned to the dark-haired girl as she commented that it must have taken a lot of practice. Jean smiled, a mischievous gleam in her green eyes, but remained calm. The teacher only shrugged, and walked over next to the woman.
"It really depends,” Jean replied. “I could have unlocked all of his mental barriers, but then I don’t think anyone would appreciate his uncontrollable abilities. Or my own."
Jean never had the chance to meet a shape-shifter, on their side before. Minus Mystique causing chaos, there was only Rahne, but she never had a personal conversation with the student before. So this was sort of a first to have a decent conversation with a mutant of her abilities.
"You enjoyed our conversation?" The psychic questioned, not in the least angry or upset. If anything she was amused the girl found their talk to be interesting.
[ooc: sorry my post is soo lame >>]

Leocardia did her ut-most to keep her eyes locked with Jeans' and not to look her over. In the end, her eyes averted breifly to the ground before flicking back up again. She raised an eyebrow breifly as Jean mentioned un controllable abilities. Not nice sounding by the sounds of it. As for enjoying the conversation:
Not really, to be honest. Since I wasn't really paying that much attention. she countred smoothly, licking her top lip breifly. Jean made her nervous, but in a good way, since she also felt safe with her, but always felt that apperances were everything. So what was actually going on, if you don't mind me asking? Because now, I am interested. she smirked.
(( ooc// its not lame. mine is though, xD I think Leo might like Jean xD ))

Jean smiled mischievously, like she had a secret, although it was easily seen she was faking her façade. She playfully grinned, knowing that the woman was semi-interested, although it was no real big news concerning the institute. "I could try to tell you the long version, but I’m not sure even I know all the details. He just needed a few mental barriers unlocked, so I did." Jean replied, looking at the brunette with curiosity. The teacher never had a personal conversation with a shape-shifter before. And minus Mystique, there had been only Wolfsbanes, but she never had a close relationship with the wolf girl.
"Now you are new here, right?" Jean guessed, believing she hadn’t seen this woman around before. "You’re powers now, can you transform into any animal you desire?"

Leo nodded slowly, gazing at Jean with a calm gaze. She understood perfectly and rolled her shoulders to ease the tension in them. She smirked again as Jean questioned her a little.
Yes and yes. she replied, smoothly turning into a Rottweiler and rearing up with a playful growl before changing back into her human self and tossing her hair back over her shoulder. I can't communicate in that form though, only in the way animals can, if that makes any sense. she replied smoothly.
So then, what's it like here? she asked evenly.
