The Rottweiler growled playful and Jean nodded her head with understanding. She knew that the female enjoyed taking the form of a dog. It was strange when the shape-shifter brought up the subject on communicating with animals. It was easy to telepathically speak with humans, but Jean was unsure if her powers could influence animals. It never crossed her mind until now.
"The Xavier’s Institute is home for me." Jean replied, her voice turned soft at the mention of the Professor. "My family lives here and we just learn how to live in a society where they call us outcasts." She looked to the woman, and looked from the stairs to the hallway. It seemed awfully quiet for a busy place like the mansion.
"I’m Jean by the way." She looked to the brunette. "I’m a teacher here."
