jubilee laughed when he started to tickle her when he finished she lay on the ground breathing hard and chuckling "yeah it is going to be a good day after all" she said smiling at john as she took some grass from his hair and shook hers " you met Logan yet?" she asked " Hes such a ...a crank" she lay with her arms behind her head as she looked at the sky.

Johnny was laughing while tickling her, enjoying the moment. It seemed the day was going to be just fine. He laughed at the mention of Logan, "I'd rather not talk about how grumpy he is;it might catch on." He looked at her, "So tell me about Matt." Johnny was curious about this Matt fellow. He had guessed that Matt was her boyfriend but he was wondering just how their relationship was.

jubilee blushed as she asked about Matt but could not hide the grin on her face as she though about Matt "hes wonderful, kind, conciderate and sexy" she said "he has his own apartment too " she sighed "but he works so im left waiting here during the weekdays" she said but smiled knowing that night she would be seeing him that evening.

Johnny rolled his eyes while smirking,"Jubie's in looove," he teased. He realized he had called her Jubie rather than Jubilee. His grin widened, amused with himself for the teasing nickname. "He seems like a swell guy. Is he a mutant or a non-mutant?" He hated referring to non-mutants as "normal". For him he was perfectly normal. Well, he was a normal Mutant. It wasn't as if he was a different species. He also hated when non-mutants were called "humans", implying that mutants were not human. But still, he didn't let it show.

jubilee's cheeks turned pink as he teased her about Matt "hes a mutant " she said then realizing he had given her an affectionate name and smiled "Jubie...I like that John" she said smiling "I would call you Johnny but, you seem to fit john " she grinned at him.

John sighed, "John eh? Maybe it is time I let go of Johnny... It was the nickname the kids at the orphanage gave me... But I guess it's time to move on after all." John closed his eyes, and his hands started to spark. He brought his hands together, gathering a ball of electricity and then thrust it up at the sky. The ball went up into the sky and then exploded, spelling, "John." He laughed, "See, you're not the only one who can put on a light show." It stayed there for a while and then slowly faded.

jubilee watched and smiled "nice" she said and joined his with her own fireworks display spelling her name. "I guess we're kinda a like with that " she turned to look at him and smiled at him. She actually had a friend now some one like her "have you ever blown up something you were just pointing at?" she asked rolling to her tummy to look at him.

John laughed, "I like mine better," he said, winking at her. However, when she asked her question, he zapped her again, albeit gently. "Yeah, I can short circuit and cause anything with electricity to blow up. Although, I've never tried to do it to anything living. That's too inhumane for me. If possible, I'd like to never try to see if I can do it. It's scary you know... The minute you realize you're a mutant, they don't consider you human. As if you're a monster...Sometimes, I can honestly understand where Magneto is coming from. The only difference though, his way of doing something about it is convoluted and messed up. We're not better than them."

she jumped as the small jolt "hey " she said laughing a little" I think I like yours too, prettier" she lay listening to him and nodded her agreement "I know how you feel, I wasn't accepted I spent several months doing tricks in a shopping mall,where I was chased by the security guards every day

Johnny laughed, "i don't think that had anything to do with being a mutant. Maybe you're just a bad performer," he said, teasingly. As he laughed he watched her reaction. John couldn't help but feel a slight attraction towards her, something more than friendship. He pushed the thought to the back of his mind. She was going to make a great friend.

Jubilee gave a pout at his suggestion but her lips curled up in a smirk "Hey i was not that bad, made a pretty good living, if the darn security guard would have stayed away" she said and sighed chuckling feeling the would become really close friends but her heart belonged to Matt but she was sure if anything happened and she was alone she was certain he would be the one she would run to and want.

John stuck out his tongue at her, "Don't use the security guard as your scapegoat. Admit it!" He gently tackled her, engaging into a tickle war, wrestling with her. He laughed all the while with a big smile on his face. Finally, he wasn't alone.

she looked shocked as he stuck out his tongue to her then tackled her "I'm not using him as s scape goat , he ruined my shows" she said tumbling with him till she realized she was on top of him and her cheeks were red, her hands now holding his above him. she looked down at him "sorry " she said and moved of him a little embarrassed at being such an intimate position.

Johnny blushed, "Sorry that was my fault... But I won. You lost. So there! Then why don't we put on a show? Me and you?" He said, smiling at her. He paused a little, careful of his next set of words, "We could even have Matt watch..." He watched her reaction carefully and closely.
