The day after Alex meet Madelyne, Alex could be seen heading into the kitchen wearing his casual clothes. Madelyne didn't come to visit him that night, so there weren't anymore orders than the ones she gave him when they first met. Since he copied some of her psionic shield ability, he didn't have to worry about any telepath finding out that he is her slave or a spy. Alex would then open a near by cupboard and took out a loaf of bred. He would then take two slices and put it in the toaster. After that, he would pull the two handles of the toaster down to start heating up the bread.

Anton got up pretty early that morning. Which was strange considering that he normally didn't get up till just about every student in the school was up... normally. Anton wasn't a morning person. In fact, he liked to night. Most people where asleep, though he could still here there thoughts, it was... quieter during sleep. Which was a blessing.
After getting on a pair of jeans he found under his bed, and grabbing a white tee, from the dresser, he walked down stairs to the kitchen. He didn't here any thoughts while turning the corner, so it was a great surprise to him when he saw the man in the kitchen.
Anton quickly did a telepathic search of the room.. Nothing. But that wasn't normal, there was a man right in front of him, as clear as day. Who was this man. Anton could detect just about any thought... any thought. It was the plus side of his ability, that he didn't have to focus to read thoughts, he just did. Who ever this man was he was dangerous. Not only did he most likely have Telepathic Abilities, he also was very powerful.
Anton skirted around the man, avoiding looking at him, trying not to be to obviously uncomfortable. He went over to the cabinet and grabbed down a coffee mug. Next thing was that he went to coffee pot, pouring coffee into it, ready to bolt if the strange was threatening.
(OOC: Hope you don't mind Anton jumping in. As always, pm if any clarifications are needed. Also not on Anton's abilities, he passively detects thoughts, which means unless if the person is guarding their thoughts, he can hear them.)

Alex watched at the 17 year old try his best to avoid him or even looking at him as he got a coffee mug a poured coffee into it. Even though Alex now had a strong telepathy ability, he didn't need to figure out that the kid was frighted of him. He could of course try to find out by reading his mind, but he had the feeling that it would probably be very rude.
"Are you ok kid?" asked Alex as he raised his left eyebrow in curiosity.

Anton walked from the counter with the coffee pot, over to the fridge. He opened it up, and fished out a large thing of coffee creamer. But for the most part, he ignored the other guy. Or tried to. He really was unnerved by this man. To not be able to hear his thought, which he would have put as a relief a week ago, made him concerned, and very nervous.
After he poor the creamer, he grabbed milk, generously adding it to his coffee cup. He had heard the other mans question, and why would he answer? To answer is to admit that he was reading his thoughts, something after getting lectured by the Mrs. McTaggert, he didn't want to happen. It was for what ever odd reason looked down upon.
So he just flat out ignored his question, beside it wasn't like he was going for most popular, right? So Anton proceeded to walk over to a stool, that was set up by the island. There he sat sipping his coffee, in all appearances. In actuality he was gathering up his thoughts, forming them into a stream, or maybe a ball, he wasn't sure... pushing the geometric questions out of his head, he began to concentrate, all while staring at his coffee, intensely. He was going to try something.. something the Professor may not approve of, but why hide your thoughts, if you have nothing to hide? So there was something, and he need to investigate.. or something like that.
He sent his conscious into the direction of the man.. but instead of going into the man's head, he bounced off, like he had ricocheted of a brick wall. A strange development, maybe he should ask the professor about being able to block thoughts.. maybe.
(OCC: Sooo glad you can't be arrested for being rude, Anton would be a career criminal xD)

After asking the question, Alex couldn't help but notice how the 17 year old was ignoring him as if he wasn't even there. Is it common for a student to ignore the new guy thought Alex as his toast popped out of the toaster. He would then grab a paper towel and used it to pick up the hot toast. After that, Alex walked towards the island and sat on the other side of Anton. Whatever he was trying to do, Alex could feel Anton's conscious bounce of of him.
"You know, it's quite rude to read someone's thoughts. I thought that it was something that was taught at this school" said Alex before taking a bite from his toast.

If Anton noticed that the man had sat next to him... He didn't show it. He just picked up his coffee, a took a sip of it. It was hot, the generous amount of milk didn't cool it down, which was annoying. Anton took his time responding to the man's comment on the fact that he was trying to invade his mind.
Who ever this man was, he was able to sense him, a fellow telepath? Maybe, who ever he was, it didn't matter. He was unlikely to actually meet him again. After all he looked like he was twenty something, older then the common student age. Instead he decide to try to put a little of blame on the other guy. Besides who else would hid their thought then those who had something to hid?
“The only people who hide their thoughts, are those with something to hide.” He said, his voice low. Was he trying to provoke the man? Not really, he just was pointing out the small fact or the matter. Or how he saw it at least. Anton had nothing to hide, well, nothing he couldn't cover up well anyhow.

"Well, I believe everybody is entitled to their own privacy and the ability I copied allows me to keep my thoughts private" explained Alex before taking another bite of his toast. He personally did believe in privacy, though Anton did have a point, he did actually did have something to hide.
"Besides, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want me reading you're thoughts without your permission" said Alex trying to make his point to the young17 year old.

Anton was kind of curious about the man when he mentioned that he copied powers. Though in Anton's opinion that would make the man weaker then the original, not any stronger. Even if he was as powerful, how would he gain their experience? He couldn't, unless he could take the memories from them.. which a telepath could.
But that was a side note, who ever he had absorbed his ability from, they where powerful. The fact that the man believed that everyone was entitled to privacy. Anton would disagree, everyone was entitled to the truth, not privacy. Shesh, Anton wanted to drink his coffee in piece, but you don't get what you want. What ever point the man tried to get across the teen, it was lost.
Anton shrugged at the man comment about his mind. What ever he didn't want people to know, was buried deep in his memories, where they belonged. He had watched a show that had talked about a memory palace. Though originally used for storing information, Anton had made his to stop anyone who tried to enter his mind. It wasn't an easy thing, but he had never tried it on someone, maybe this may a good time to test it... But Anton wasn't in the mood to do that.
“So.. how does your copying ability work?” He asked, not actually voicing his thoughts on people reading his thoughts.

"Well from what I can tell from my power mimicry ability, I actually need to touch someone to copy their powers. As for control of the powers I copied, it seems to come naturally to me. Like how a bird instinctively knows how to fly, though so far I've only copied the abilities of one person, so there is the possibility I have the same exact control as the person I copied explained Alex through though telepathy while finishing his first piece of toast.

'How can an ability you copy come naturally to you?' Anton thought. For Anton the ability he has did come naturally yes, but he had to work at it to actually comprehend the info he gleaned. Otherwise it was very very obnoxious white noise. “I guess that makes sense.” he said, after trying to send it back to him telepathically, but only to have it bounce off of the man's mental blockade. It sort of annoyed Anton that he could speak in his mind, but Anton couldn't do it in kind. Not like Anton was going to complain about it, after all some may considered it rude anyhow.
“Actually I should be happy that I can't hear your thoughts.” Anton said, “I am normally bombarded, by the stray thoughts of others.” He admitted.

"Well at least you have one set of thoughts you don't have to worry about hearing. And hopefully you will find that off switch for you're ability, I mean that's one of the main points this school exists, or so I heard" said Alex after he took his first bite from the second piece of toast.
"By the way, my name is Alex Green, what's your name?" asked Alex as he extended his right hand towards Anton.

Supposedly.” Anton said. But he has also been told that he is hard to detect, even when he can hear other people thoughts... Maybe there was a reason why he couldn't turn of the ability. Gosh it made a good lie detector anyhow. “But one plus side,” Anton said raising the coffee mug to his lips “I make one good lie detector.” Which was the truth. When “Alex” introduced himself, Anton took his hand, and shook it, “Anton.” He didn't give a last name, mainly because it was one of those things he had buried. The surname Eltsov, was his grandmother's Maiden name, not much anyone could go off. (OOC: Oh yes, Anton still has a touch of humor, unlike poor depressed Garrett. Yikes short post too )

"Well if you're a lie detector I guess that makes me a living Swiss army knife. You never know what kind of powers I might actually have in store for you" said Alex with a light chuckle. He was really enjoying this conversation with Anton. After all, the only other student he talked to was Garret and the overall vibe he gave was very depressing. "Nice to meet you Anton" said Alex after Anto introduced himself and shook his hand.
"So, what are the classes here like anyway? I only started coming to this school yesterday and so far I don't have a class until latter today" asked Alex.

“Swiss Army Knife.. nice.” Anton nodded at what Alex called himself. It was true, the ability to copy other abilities, it gives him quite the advantage.. If he used it right. But by the seems of things, he does.
Then he asked him about the class... Wasn't he a bit old for classes, yikes he looked 20 something. College maybe, but most of the classes here where for High school students. “Well they aren't so bad. Once you get used to them. Though Our Physics teacher has a bad habit of lecturing upside down.” Which was actually quite funny when you watch him write on the chalk board with his... feet. I guess when you have apossible thumbs on you feet, you can use it for just about anything can't you?

"Now that I would like to see" said Alex as he tried to picture a teacher teaching upside down. But what he didn't consider was the fact that the teacher Anton was talking about appeared to be more of a beast than a man.
"Anton, the main reason why I'm here to gain more control of my powers and use them more effectively. So what can you tell me about those kind of classes?" asked Alex knowing full well that he was a lot older than most of the students here. If it wasn't because of the fact that this was the only school that taught mutants how to control their abilities, Alex wouldn't even be here at all.
