Adam smiled and laughed softly. He let her fall into his embrace. "I can tell. You're also quite alluring too." Adam kissed her neck softly, teasing her of what could possibly come. "How'd I change your mind?" He kept his arms around her but let his fingers free. He took his right hand and danced along her stomach with his fingers. "Beautiful..." He couldn't deny that there was a certain attraction he held for her. But even then, Harmony stayed on the back of his mind. She'd been with him for a long time...Of all the risks he was willing to take, he wasn't willing to lose her. Even after all these years he had never initialized a move towards her. He was scared. He was afraid to lose her. He closed his eyes and breathed in and then out. He knew there was no point in think about it. He was afraid to analyze her. It was probably the only time he had control over if he analyzed something or not. But here he was with a beautiful

* Felicia inhaled slowly, keeping her eyes fixed on the lamp shade in front of her. As she listened to him speak, her optics followed the vague patterns emblazoned in the material. She had always thought filigrees were very pretty. They had a very Victorian elegance to them that she absolutely adored. Lifting a hand, she held out her smallest finger and traced the corner of the lamp while her gaze slowly rolled upward and then moved to the corner of her eye. "How?" she murmured, shrugging a shoulder, her finger still lightly grazing the lamp absently. "You impressed and amused me. You're handsome, but you don't let it go to your head. You're my type of man." A little laugh passed from her slightly parted lips before it faded out into a soft sigh.Dropping her hand, she placed it on the pillow in front of her. Her eyelids lowered and her lips pulled together as she watched everything with a half-lidded gaze. Drawing in a deep breath, she felt his hand move along her torso and instinctively, she sucked her stomach in, tender and ticklish to the soft grazing of his digits. She purred at his ministrations, letting that be the only sound resonating from her as she pondered. Adam was a thrill, but even though he was a fun handful, she wondered if laying alongside him was a natural and okay thing. Hardly ever did she evaluate her motives, but when it involved men, all her means of defenses were quickly built up. And sadly enough, she felt herself slightly shying away from him. Her lower lip poked out into a pout and she let out a trembling breath. Maybe it was the lack of sleep that was getting to her or that he had taunted her with that damn gem of a necklace. But whatever it was, she felt like a completely different person; So far from herself. Timid, tired, and reserved. If she kept up this sulking mood, everything was bound to go downhill. ,

Adam analyzed her movements and knew something was wrong. "No, not yet." He whispered in her ear. He gently laid her down and kissed her. He kissed her again and again, not giving her time to speak. Finally he looked in her eyes, "I don't know what you want. I'm sure I'll figure it out in a couple of minutes but right now I need you. Call me selfish but I need to feel your bare skin against mine. I need the feline hunger, alright?" He kissed her again, and led his kisses from her lips to her chest, teasing her and hinting at something else. He didn't know what he wanted either. But he did know that he wanted to spend the night wither her. He needed her right now. He was feeling a burning hunger that he couldn't suppress. It was a primal urge, uncontrollable. He had known from the minute they had met that he hungered for her. But as she lay on his bed right now, he knew that he needed it to become a reality. There was only the now. He was trying to focus on her and only her. His gentle eyes searched hers, scanning. He was looking for something, anything. He needed her to say yes. He needed her confirmation. But most of all, he needed her.

* She was startled by the sudden abundance of kisses, all of which that left her utterly breathless. Her chest rose and fell slowly, and she was sure that he could possibly hear her heart beating and her blood rushing through her veins at impossible speeds. He made it hard to concentrate when his lips were busy furiously fluttering across her own and along her skin. Holding up her hands, she planted her palms against his chest and gazed up at him, her eyes reflecting confusion and uncertainty. She gave her head a slow and slight shake, pairing it with a lame shrug of her shoulder. "And what if you can't figure it out, hm? What if you take me now and can't help me later?" Her brows knotted together and she let her hands fall away from his chest. Maybe her problem wasn't being uncertain of what she wanted, but knowing that she desired too damn much and couldn't have it all immediately when she demanded it.Arching her back, she leaned into him and inhaled his scent. His words, his close proximity, and the mere fact that their feelings were beyond mutual was enough for her to want to give in right away. That was exactly what he wanted her to do, and she would, she'd just have to make him work for it. Raising an arm, she looped it around his neck and let her fingers toy gently with his hair. Her gaze met his and she inhaled sharply. "At least you're honest. We're both selfish." Pulling him closer to her, she allowed her lips to graze his cheek. "Just know that you can't take me so easily. If you want me, really want me, you'll have to work for it." Her arm fell away from him and she continued to keep her eyes locked on his own. Biting down on her lip, she nodded slowly, silently agreeing that she would share herself with him. It was an invitation that she had never made before. ,

Adam smiled in his sleep as his form fit perfectly with hers. He slowly woke up and looked over her. He smiled as he got up, taking himself out of her, and yawned. She was beautiful. He wondered what would happen now. He went and started making a cup of coffee, walking around in the nude. As he waited for the coffee, he resumed his place in her bed and smelled her scent. He wondered how he had ended up here. He wasn't sure why he did what he did but he knew he didn't regret and ounce of it. He wrapped his arms around her naked body, embracing her into him. He watched her chest move as she took slow and deep breaths.

* The woman's hand lay tucked underneath her pillow and she had turned onto her opposite side, facing the night stand in front of her. Her lips had parted and occasionally she would let out a soft sigh, her shoulders and chest dropping as she let out a prolonged breath of air. As well, her blonde locks were tossed about her shoulders, strewn across the pillow beneath her head, and cascading down her bare back. Drawing in another deep breath, she stirred, faintly aware of the quiet movement within the suite and the ray of light that beamed across the room. Squeezing her eyelids tighter closed, she murmured to herself and used her free hand to grope for the sheet that was draped over her hips. Tugging it up to her chin, she reluctantly allowed one eye to open, peering around before acknowledging that she had not been facing this way when she had first fallen asleep. She had expected to see Adam's face and not the lamp that had transfixed her hours ago.Flipping over onto her other side, she buried her face into Adam's pillow, inhaling deeply and reveling in his scent. Her fingers moved to where his body had once lain, digits tracing out the grooves and indents from where his form had left pressure upon the mattress. Her lip poked out into a childish pout and she felt sadness slowly creep up on her. He didn't seem like the type who would just up and go. Perhaps when she had first heard the muffled sound of movement, that was him leaving. If she could have mustered up the energy to get out of bed and convince him to stay then... Her thoughts stopped abruptly when she felt the bed shift and a rush of human warmth make contact with her body. Slowly and hesitantly, she fixed her gaze upward and her pout disappeared immediately. Felicia quickly closed her eyes and curled her frame into his own. "G'mornin', handsome." ,

Adam smiled and chuckled a bit, the vibrations moving throughout his body. He gently kissed her forehead. "Good morning, love. Enjoy your sleep?" He enjoyed the way her body melded into his. The crevices of each other fit perfectly. As he watched her naked for he couldn't help but feel at ease. He pulled her tight into his body, not wanting to let her go. He had stopped analyzing her. He had become aware of that quite sometime ago. His eyes had stopped the analyzing of her every move. Strangely enough, this had only happened with Harmony. He wondered how the two would react when they met. It was inevitability. Adam froze...Who knew if she was going to stay with him. He wasn't even sure what would happen now so how could he think such things? He sighed and kissed her forehead once more. "Are you hungry?"

* Lifting a hand, Felicia smoothed back a stray strand of hair and parted her eyelids slowly. Looking up at him, she nodded and let a wide smile cross her lips. "I did. It was wonderful. Did you?" Raising her hand, she pressed the padding of her index and middle fingers to his collar bones, rubbing the smooth skin gently. "You were making all that damn noise, what were you doing?" Her head shifted on the pillow and she arched an eyebrow as he pulled her into him. Resting her chin on the rounded edge of his shoulder, she drew in a deep breath, drinking in his scent and reveling in it.She gave a slight shake of the head at his question while reaching for the corner of the comforter, pulling it snug over her waist and draping the remainder of it over him. Even though it was a pleasure to see him naked, it was a little too chilly in this room to lounge in the nude. "Not really. I am thirsty though." Dropping her chin from his shoulder and tucking her head into the crook of his neck, she placed a kiss upon his earlobe. "Are you?" Her arm then came around his large shoulders when she felt him tense up and a curious look came forth to claim her face. She opened her mouth to ask him, but refrained, fearful that prodding at him would open the doors to some sort of quarrel. ,

Adam smiled at her, letting the tension leave his body. "I enjoyed my sleep very much. I had a very beautiful warm body next to me. I was just making some Coffee." He felt her arms embrace him and gently kissed her. He detached himself from her embrace and departed from the bed, standing up. He looked down at himself, still tainted from the mix of their juices. He smiled at her with a mischievous wink, "Looks like you got really excited earlier." He walked over to where the coffee was being made and pored himself a cup. He grabbed a pair of boxers and an undershirt and clothed himself in them.
He sat down on an armchair resting at the perfect place to observe and watch her. His eyes and expression turned serious. He wanted to be careful with his phrasing and word choice. What had happened earlier was something he did not regret. In fact, he'd gladly do it again. Yet, that as it may, what happened next was the biggest question. He chose not to analyze it, to allow her to answer. It was her choice, not his. He had made his decision already, his still being here proof. He let out a sigh and looked at her, eyes serious and firm but gentle. "So what next? Where do we go from here?" As the words left his mouth he felt a sense of relief. The thought was finally out in the open.

* When Adam untangled himself from her and moved from the bed, quickly finding himself some clothes and then promptly dressing, Felicia felt an all too familiar pang in her chest that was soon followed by a vicious wave of anxiety. He was sitting across the room from her, looking both very stern and professional--though his garb did not quite represent that. Sitting up, she tugged the sheets to her chest and folded her arms along her sternum, her own face losing its cheerfulness. The corners of her mouth were turned downwards, her jaw was tense, and the gleam in her eye was the complete opposite of love and endearment. His words spilled out of his mouth and she sighed, lowering her gaze and shifting uneasily on the bed. She wanted to play dumb, wanted to ask him what the hell he was going on about, but this was one thing that shouldn't involve taking the immature route. Looking up, she tipped her head to the side, her expression still frozen in what looked to be utter contempt. Did he really have to ask her this and so early? She had only woken a couple of minutes ago, she was in no shape or form ready to have a very make-it-or-break-it type of conversation. Unwinding her left arm from her right, she forced her fingers through her hair and shrugged lazily, her gaze drifting to the window. "I don't know. I would say that the answer seems pretty obvious, especially after last night." She stopped talking and spared a glance in his direction, her green eyes narrowed. Despite not wanting to tip-toe around anything, she was doing just that. Her lips parted and she slid from the bed, taking the sheet with her. Winding it around her body, she moved about the foot of the bed, snatching her clothes up from the floor. "You're a great lover and you'd make a wonderful boyfriend." Inwardly, she cringed. She hadn't used that word since she was seventeen. "Maybe I'm a little biased from a couple of hours, but I would like to be with you." Slowly, she perched on the very corner of the bed. "I don't know about you though," she murmured. "I don't think I'm good girlfriend material." She was being frank. After so many life complications, she didn't want to drag him down. But oh, how she wanted to call him her own. She could have begged for him--much the same way she had last night--but she had a little too much pride right now. ,

Adam stared at her for a second. He stared for quite a while before making his move. As he stared at her, he analyzed the situation. He analyzed how he felt about her. He analyzed the passion they had earlier. He stood up, silent. He took careful strides towards her. He slowly bent down and kissed her. It was a long kiss, slow and passionate. He slowly detached his lips from hers. "I won't lie. I want you. But...I think we should take this slower."
He chuckled a bit, right eyebrow arched and raised. "Although it seems we're not too good with taking things slow. I like you Felicia. I even like your name. But if we're going to try this then we need to start off by going on a couple of dates. No boyfriends or girlfriends. Just two people, interested in each other. Or in my case, desperately wanting you." He kissed her once more. He sighed, "Unfortunately though, you may have some competition." His eyes stared at hers, watching her reaction. He smirked a bit at his final words.

* As soon as Adam's lips touched her own, Felicia responded hungrily. Her tongue found its way into his mouth and her arm wound around his neck. Winding his dark hair around her fingers, she held her mouth firmly to his before reluctantly pulling away. One moment she was giving him a death glare and in the mood to scrutinize him. The next, she found herself desperate to repeat their actions from the previous night. Carefully sliding her fingers out of his hair, she placed her hand in her lap, her gaze fixed on her fingernails. "Slower? Adam, we'd just be moving backwards if we went slower.." Her hand moved to the comforter, tugging it up higher after realizing it had dropped and succeeded in exposing a great deal of her breasts.Sucking in her lower lip, she let her head roll slowly. "Do you think we could do that after last night?" They had jumped the gun and without any formalities. Was it possible to forget the sex and then just go about things the way they should have originally gone had they known earlier that they were interested in one another? It seemed doable, but unfortunately for Felicia, she felt a little uneasy with the thought of courtship. She couldn't be coy, she found it hard to oblige without putting up too much of a fight, and what if she wasn't what Adam had thought her to be? Swallowing the lump in her throat, she forced her thoughts to stop being negative. Being who she was now, stripped down (no pun intended) to nothing but Felicia Hardy, she thought it possible. Black Cat was something entirely different. And now that she thought about it, who did he want? Her or the thief? Did he desire the both of them, too?Cinching the blanket closer around her, she released her lower lip and smiled faintly. He really was too sweet. Just telling her that he liked her name, especially one so simple, warmed her. By now, she knew that she should expect that from him and understand that Adam just had a way with words. As he continued on, her smile faltered before disappearing completely. "I'm sorry?" Had she heard him correctly? "Competition?" Her voice was strained and her posture had shifted. Standing abruptly with her shoulders drawn back, nostrils flared, and her fingers curled, she eyed him. "After you get me in bed you tell me this now?!" With each word, her voice heightened in volume. If she had said any more, she would have been screeching. ,

Adam smiled as he observed her reaction. He stood up and held onto her, embracing her tightly. No matter what pain she would deliver to him he would hold on to her tight. Ge gently nibbled on her neck. He continued to hold her as he said his next words. "Listen carefully. Whether you be Felicia or Black Cat, I want you. If you want you can walk away but I don't want that. I'm telling you now that you are not the only woman in my life. There is also some attraction between my partner and I. Now I am not saying that we will act on it but we might in the spur of the moment. I need you to understand that just as I can't control my desperate hunger for you, I can not do the same with her. I chose the wrong word. Love is not a competition. I want you, Felicia. I say don't try to put any labels on this. Let it flow free. I made love to you and I was amazed. If you want to turn back, I won't stop you. But I'll tell you now that I don't know how I'd react."

* She was fuming. She was beyond infuriated. She couldn't even see--let alone think--straight. He had withheld such important information from her and had only mustered up both the gall and energy to tell after what had gone on between them last night. Glaring up at him, she refused to let her body get the best of her. She didn't give a damn if he made her heart flutter or if he made her weak in the knees. He had lied to her. Lied. That was something no woman could tolerate. Grinding her teeth together, she held up her hands and pushed at his chest, desperate to get away from him. "Let me go!" she hissed, her nails raking at the corners of his jaw and tearing at the skin on his neck. "Great fucking timing!"Felicia thrashed against him. She raised a leg and kicked at his thighs and shins, all while her nails continued to tear at his face. "You greedy little shit! You can't have both! You can't want me and then have feelings for this other woman!" Her cheeks were flushed and her pupils had altered in shape, now identical to the pupils of a venomous snake. She gnashed her teeth together and curled her fingers inward, her hands morphing into fists. She thumped furiously at his chest, her shrieks and howls slowly changing to uncontrolled sobs. "L-Let me go... or I'll t-tear you... a new... asshole." Her chest heaved as tears streamed down the sides of her face. She could not believe her luck--if she could even call it that. After last night, she had most definitely not expected this, especially coming from Adam. As well, she could not fathom the way she had behaved... so similar to the way she had reacted with Ryan, minus the angry feline sounds passing from her mouth. ,

Adam held on tight as silent tears dribbled down his face. Yet his face remained stolid, showing no emotion. Every single mark or injury she left on him would immediately heal afterward. He held her naked body tightly as a surge of electricity would stimulate her body. He let go of her and turned around. He wiped the tears away silently. His eyes began doing what they did so very well, analyzing. He turned around once more, fury in his eyes. He glared at her with a fury unlike any other. His nostrils flared and his breathing was audible and short. His fiery reddish hair, with a hint of brown, seemed to set ablaze with a sudden rush of more red. His eyes pierced into her, intimidating and fearful, lost of their gentleness. "Listen carefully. Your name is Felicia Hardy. My partner's name is Harmony Cannon. Greedy? You dare call me greedy? You dare judge me when I have never judged you for your indiscretions. I will tell you right now, plain and simple. I made love to you of my own accord. I felt Lust, Passion, and even Love in those moments. Greedy? Do you want me to pretend that I don't have feelings for my partner. Do you want me to lie to myself? Do you want me to pretend that I'm falling for you? Lie? When did I lie to you? When did I do something to lose your trust? How dare you? It's not my fault that I love her. It's not my fault that I'm quickly falling in love with you. I didn't choose this Felicia. But you're right. I did lie to you. I said I'd never hurt you intentionally but I'm going to have to break that promise." He walked up to her and kissed her hard on the mouth, his tongue seeking hers. Electricity poured from him, stimulating her senses as he was overcome by emotions. Here, he, Adam who never lost control, was losing control for the second time that day. His hands held her head as his tongue danced in her mouth.
