Jean relished the peace and quiet in the Japanese Garden, the high noon sun blazed with fiery rays. The autumn air was crisp, marking the last days before winter. Students were either in classes or outside enjoying the day before the snowfall started a long and cold winter. It was a rare to find a moment of serenity and now that she was teaching again, things could not be more perfect now that Scott was here. It felt almost like the old days, in the beginning where the original x-men were first teaching students how to control their powers.
Her greens eyes sparkled with delight as she levitated the sakura blossom around for amusement. Like the season changes, so was the world around them. How many times will people lose their lives for one man’s dream? Jean knew she would, but what will the future be like if the war is everlasting? So many questions came to mind as the psychic stared on the pink scent petals, swirling around in an endless abyss.
Jean was so deep in through about the future, the telepath wasn’t even aware of the new visitors in the garden. All that was on her mind were possibilities and worry for the future. A future that one day her children will inherit...

Rachel hid behind the tall candle statue of the Japanese Garden. There she was, it had been so simple to find her. Her psychic signature cried out like a powerful beacon, echoing the Phoenix fragment in Rachel. She looked peaceful, yet her beautiful green eyes glittered with shadows of painful thoughts. Rachel's heart squeezed tightly at the sight. Jean was thinking of something that upset her, that drew those shadows into her eyes. It was strange, both that she cared about a person she'd never known so much, and that she'd seen those shadowed eyes before...in the mirror.
Rachel really was the spitting image of the woman before her. It was amazing to see the resemblance, the only differences were slight and that Rachel was younger and had her hair cut. Everyone mistook her for Jean Grey when she didn't.
Rachel watched the floating blossom and smiled. She focused and levitated another blossom, making it dance and swirl with her mother's. She made it flip and swirl and spin beautifully, catching Jean's attention.

Scott was meeting Jean here, and he talked to Rachel just today. He walked with her to the gardens as he saw how Rachel got behind a tall candle statue. "Rachel, stop teasing your Mom."He whispered as he grinned. "But don't worry, I will take care of that.'He whispered again. So now the problem was, Jean was focused on some stuff, as he got behind the candle statue looking to Jean. "Hello dear."he said.

A dancing petal, among hundreds, caught the attention of Jean Grey. She was so concerned about other things; the flash of a lone sakura petal captured her interest and amazement. It was not of her doing and in an instant; her mind scanned for the location of the mutant who was responsible. Her mind flashed a dozen images, too fast, it was hard to comprehend who they belonged to. But the flaming psychic knew the presence of the mutant was extremely familiar and very close.
Her thoughts were interrupted once again when her gold-infused with green eyes looked upon the handsome face of her husband. She didn’t forget about the presence of another telepath, but smiled to Scott when he called out for her. Glancing up in his direction, towards an unusual statue, she thought she quickly saw a glimpse of a red-head. It wasn’t hard to notice, red hair easily spotted against the greenery.
"Hey, sweetie." She replied, curious now that she had caught someone hiding behind the statue. It was not like meeting another psychic or telepath, but as if her very essence felt a strong bond with the stranger. Jean stood up and walked over to meet her husband. "You have someone you want me to meet?" She laughed, not even having to read his thoughts to see the pleasant look on Scott’s face.

Rachel pressed her back against the candle statue, taking deep, slow breaths. This was it, she would meet her mother, and Rachel had felt Jean's Phoenix-infused mind searching out for her. Rachel didn't bother trying to hide, no matter how powerful she was, against the Phoenix itself, she could never hide fully.
Sighing, she stepped out from behind her hiding place. Her hands raised to fiddled with her fingers nervously, staring at Jean Grey with awing eyes. The Phoenix was a beautiful woman, astounding features and flowing hair and such power it made Rachel tremble. This was the woman she'd stared at the picture of every night before bed. The beauty that had fueld her own viens to pump blood. The woman of such power she'd saved the world numerous times over again. And Rachel was finally standing in her presence. No matter how many times Rachel had gone into the past to change her future, she'd never allowed herself to go so far as to see her parents in the open. She'd hid from their view and avoided them. Now, it was all out in the open.
"Hello," Rachel paused to lick her dry lips. "Mother."

Scott looked at Jean as she had read the mind of him. He gave a small nod as he kissed her lips. When she talked to him. "Hello sweetie.'He said as he hold her close in his arms, but then he saw Rachel coming as he smiled. "This is your Daughter Jean."He said. 'I don't know why she is so big, but it is your daughter, our daughter."He said as he walked to her daughter holding her in his arms.
(Sorry so short again)

The flames of a Phoenix engraved into her mind rushed a thousand different thoughts when Jean’s eyes fell on a beautiful red-head female. As if they shared a bond that last beyond time itself, the woman could only stare at the girl who looked almost identical to her. Like staring into a mirror, Jean stepped closer and felt like she was staring at herself only but a few years ago. Nothing could have prepared her for this moment.
Jean tenderly touched the girl’s face, like a loving mother would to her child, and brushed against her flaming red hair. In a moment that should have felt awkward and weird, Jean could feel their relationship was not a mistake. Instead, it was like the Phoenix complete in two women, the only psychic mutants powerful enough to harbor the creature of fire and light. The mother recognized her daughter and the Phoenix recognized itself, the moment becoming a surreal and magnificent all at once. A part of her wanted to deny she had a daughter from the future, that this was a problem. But she went against what human nature told her...
Jean gathered her daughter into a warm embrace, and understood Rachel’s pain. Their connected, not only because they shared a link with each other due to the phoenix, but because of their bond between mother and daughter. Jean could see in her eyes that her child lost her parents in cruel and unimaginable ways.
"I knew we would always have a girl." Jean replied with a soft laugh, looking over to her husband. True, in an outsider’s point of view, it was strange and impossible. But it felt right and the look on Scott confirmed this was no dream. "It’s hard to believe that this is happening, but I’m here, sweetie." Jean comforted her girl, the emotions and instincts just came natural.

Rachel just stared up at Jean Grey, her fingers grazing Rachel's cheek softly. She closed her eyes and held on to the touch, the first of such love that she'd never received. This was the single most important moment of her life, the woman she'd stared at the picture of every night, the woman she strove hard to be like. The woman she shared such a grand and powerful force, the Phoenix. The Phoenix felt whole and calm between the two of them, while Rachel felt like an edge of her puzzle piece existence had just slipped into place, filling the gap where she hadn't quite realized there was one. But it was there, and it was being filled in.
Rachel opened her eyes to stare up at her mother, her green eyes welling up and flooding with a tear. The tear swelled over and raced down her cheek as Jean embraced her tightly. Slowly, Rachel's arms rose up and hugged her back. She closed her eyes tightly and dug her face against Jean's chest. This was where she belonged. So long she fought for a place, to feel accepted and welcomed as a home. And this was where it was. With her mother, with her father. She was their daughter and she was home for the first time.
"I knew we would always have a girl." Jean's voice made Rachel bite her lip and hold on tighter. She did? Jean had wanted a little girl? She had wanted her? "It’s hard to believe that this is happening, but I’m here, sweetie." Rachel smiled and pulled back, putting on her stern face but with a genuine smile. She stood straighter, more attentative. She was Rachel Summers, everyone expected her to be so powerful and so in control. It was only then she realized that she'd only ever wanted to be so...for her parents. She wanted them to know how great she was, how powerful and wise she truly had become.
"Honestly, I've waited for this moment my entire life. Through death and back again...all I ever wanted was this."

Scott looked to the two of his girls. One his wife, his one and only love, and the second girl, his flesh and blood. The one and only daughter he has or is going to get in the future. It sounds like he was going to have a perfect life with Jean. "You do know Jean, when you always thought about a girl, that my mind says, we will be together and have a child."He said. He walked slowly up to Rachel.
"Rachel, as you can tell your parents accepted you, I am not sure if they did in your world, but we can and will change that for you then."He said. "Just to be there for my little girl."He said. He didn't know if it was right to hug her, but since he didn't care, he soflty gave her a hug, holding his little girl. "You will always be my Little Girl Rachel, so never forget that."He said as he gave a smile. His sunglasses on, as he looked at Rachel and then to Jean.
