Johnny was pissed, this ahole was getting on his nerves, "If you're going to keep whining then fight me right now, no powers. You act as if you're so high and mighty, prove it. If not, walk out of here and shutup or the next thing you know, you're going to be in a coma. As far as I'm considered, you're just a whiny little, brat. I bet you got kicked out didn't you? Your parents didn't love you enough so you blame everyone else? Shut the eff up. Who do you think you are? I don't understand how anyone in your family could have ever handled you for so long, I might have ended up killing myself." Johnny was full blown mad and didn't even realize what he was saying; all he knew was that he was pissed and this guy was responsible. He was furious and was ready to start a fight, no matter the consequences.

Rahne looked curiously towards the angry x-man, having been in his same position a few moments ago. But wasn’t he the one who just said the boy wasn’t worth it? Now he was ready to start a full-out battle, where it was just a verbal fight earlier between Rahne and him. Yes, Rahne admits a few of her threats were partially blames, but she could never or willingly strike out against one of her own kind.
"Stop," Rahne stepped in front of the mad mutant. "You said he wasn’t worth it, and see? He’s leaving now. He’s one of us."
The guy who heavily offended the boy was giving him just what he wanted. Yes, Rahne did injure him by accident and the blame half belong to her. But if a battle took place, the consequences were high.
Yes, she did feel guilty about what happened. And yes, she felt like she was in the middle.

Fight him? Was it not clear that Seán was in no position to fight him with a hand that bore two large lacerations across it? If he managed to beat the idiot with a damaged hand. . . .
But the girl was trying to calm things down. A moment ago, she had been all-too eager to rip him apart, and now that someone showed the same interest, she saw how dumb she had been. If one thing was certain, Seán did not want to be one of them. One of the idiots. Surely there must be some decent people on this campus, right?
You wouldn't know decency if it smacked you in the face.
"'One of you'? Ha, I doubt it," he said as he glanced over his shoulder, his hand still on the door. Blood dripped down from the injury on his other hand onto the wooden floorboards. "I'd rather be run over by a semi truck than be counted as one of you."

Johnny stopped, her voice had somehow managed to soothe, he turned to her, "I apologize. He and I had an earlier encounter. One of the side effects of my powers is being susceptible to extreme emotions. Not an excuse though." He sighed, "By the way, I'm John Gallagher. Most call me Johnny or Volt." He wouldn't be surprised if the girl reeled back in disgust with him. These actions were weird, even for him. Of all things, he wasn't cruel. So why was it that he was acting this way now? His mind drifted back to the orphanage. Two years... It had been two years... Johnny shook as the memory of his first encounter with his powers sent a shiver through him. He'd been having more and more blank outs. He needed an anchor, something to hold him in place. But what?

Was it wise to interfere? The tension between the two guys was just as thick when the dark haired kid pushed himself with her. A face down that she clearly thought was most of her fault. Rahne shifted uncomfortably, eager for him or herself to leave. She watched him making a slow exit, easily taking the tension with him. It was a like a little cloud that just followed him everywhere.
"You should take care of that wound," Rahne pointed out. "Before it gets infected."
Maybe she just wanted him to leave or make him realized just how lucky he was. Turning to the x-man name John, Rahne nodded as his reasons behind the warning. "I’m Rahne," She introduced herself.”And thank-you for your help.”

Johnny watched as the kid left, he'd have to keep an eye out for him. He'd also have to make sure he didn't end up killing the kid...If he didn't get himself killed first. As he left he started to calm down. In truth, he felt sorry for him, but he wasn't going to admit that. John's eyes lit up when he heard her voice again. Her voice was soothing. It made him calm. Johnny gave a little smirk, "No problem. That's an interesting name. Are you new here?" Johnny's smirk became a smile, "If so, I'd be happy to help you get acquainted with the School...If that's okay with you."

Rahne smiled at his offer, blushing he was so kind. After the run in with the new student, she wanted to avoid any more conformations for awhile. Watching him leave though, she wondered about the poor unfortunate students he meets on the way to bandage his wound.
“No, I’m not new.” Rahne explained. “I’ve been here for a few years. But I don’t normally hang out in large groups.” She was embarrassed to say that enjoyed being along. Playing with students is fun, but with fear of her powers, she felt less worried about a student’s safety if she did not hang around large populated areas. Such what just happened with the new student. Her temper brought out the wolf she desperately tried to keep hidden.

John nodded; he could relate to her;he sensed the reasoning behind the statement, especially after seeing her performance. "I know the feeling. You're scared right? Scared that you're going to lose control? That you're going to give in to the emotions. As if a beast takes control and you're just watching it happen? That's how it feels for me, so I can relate. Although to each his own. It's a shame I've never met you though." He smiled at her upon saying the last bit. "I met a metamorph earlier today. She preferred being a wolf. Coincidentally, wolves are my favorite animals. They're really beautiful, striving to survive. Most see them as savage but I don't think so. A wolf is always protecting something. Whether it be their pack...or their heart."

Rahne’s features reddened when John continued to say that his favorite animal was wolves. He was right about most of why she couldn’t remain around people; in fear of harming them. She looked up at him and nodded. “It’s true. Sometimes it’s hard to stay in control. Sometimes when I’m provoked, my natural instincts just take control. I think it’s the same with your powers when you couldn’t control your anger.” Rahne replied, embarrassed she was so open. “Yes, I think wolves are amazing as well. Like you said, they protect their family.” She looked back down to the ground. “I wonder why we haven’t met each other yet. How long have you been here at the school?”

John smiled at her, "Yeah, it's a lot like my powers." He put a little spark in his finger and touched her forehead. If she let it the spark would give her a soothing warmth. "Two years. I've been here two years. How about you, Rahne." His smile widened as he said her name.

Rahne rubbed her forehead, surprised a tiny shock can seem quite pleasing. It didn’t even feel as if it was electricity, but something more calming. She laughed at his touch, looking at him as he spoke. “I been here for three or four years. My adoptive mother knows Professor Xavier very well.” Rahne looked down, suddenly feeling homesick. She pushed the thought of the person she saw as her mother and smiled. “It’s funny we never met until today. I’m normally in here though.” Rahne explained, meaning the rec. room. “I like playing here by myself. I mean, when I say playing, I mean…I enjoy playing with the ball.” Rahne blushed, confessing one of her habits of playing with sport balls by herself.

John's right eyebrow arched, "Adoptive? Were you an orphan too? It is weird that we haven't met till now though. But then again we both tend to keep to ourselves. Well if you wouldn't mind...I'd play ball with you from time to time..." He studied her. She seemed interesting, perplexing but interesting.

Too? Rahne looked up expectantly, curious if John was an orphan as well. Technically she wasn’t an orphan, her adoptive father alive as well. But that was a long story itself. Harbored by the thoughts of the past, thinking of them a second time, Rahne normally wouldn’t think about them. She caught herself sinker deeper into the past and had to pinch herself to bring her mind back. “I would like that.” She replied, enjoying talking to someone who could understand her. “Um, you didn’t have anywhere to go before you came here, did you?” Rahne questioned. “I only ask because I didn’t want to bother you. The fight might have gone much longer if you didn’t come in.”

John laughed, "No, I'm pretty bored most of the time. I didn't have much anything else to do. Although, I'm glad I was able to stop you guys in time. That guy is looking for death. He's playing a dangerous game. I'm probably going to have to talk to the Professor about him. And no, you're not bothering me. I wouldn't be talking to you if you were bothering me, would I? Why not smile for me?"
