open ,Abel's eyes were fixed at the ground, watching as her feet rhythmically hit the pavement one after the other. This was one of Abel's many quirks. She had a habit of staring at her feet, and sometimes, if she were to step on a crack, she would back up and step over it. She never knew why, just like she didn't know why she had any of these other problems that she could never seem to fix. For a moment, she looked up at the sky. It was a fairly clear night. Not a cloud in the sky. She slowed down and pushed her hands into her pockets before coming to a stop. Sometimes she wished she could fly.
She was jerked out of her thoughts by the sound of rustling deep in the alley that stretched out beside her. She wasn't scared though a normal person would be. Abel wasn't normal. Instead she was curious and looked in front of her, then behind her, before she wandered into the darkness. She raised her hand and a medium sized flame rose two inches above her palm. "Hello?" she mumbled, her voice echoing just slightly against the wall. When Abel was younger and just learning to use her powers, she would sometimes sneak out and wander around by herself, unafraid of the world around her. This was no different than what she used to do as a kid.
Suddenly an empty box dropped beside her and she jumped to the side, both hands aiming at the box ready for whatever was there. Abel was wide-eyed for a second, then her face softened when a kitten, maybe a year old at most, meowed in distress. "I was scared of a kitten," she said to herself and bent down to pick up the jet black feline. "Hey there little buddy," Abel cooed. Although feral, he was just as snuggly than the next house cat.
Abel began to walk out with the cat cradled in her arms, but was stopped by the sound of a whistle. She looked up and saw the figure of four male figures at the opening of the alley. They didn't even say anything before they rushed Abel. They'd must have been watching her and knew she was a mutant. Abel rushed to put the kitten down and pushed one hand out toward the men, pushing the first two back a bit with the force of wind. The other two didn't stop and continued after her. She grinned. This would be fun. One male took a swing at her, and she ducked, punching him in the gut then pulling his head down to connect with her knee. One down. She stepped over him and calmly stepped up to the next opponent, grabbing his wrist and flipping him onto his back. This was too easy.
The first two men had watched their comrades go down without a fight and seeing the look on Abel's face when she moved her attention to them made them look at each other then run the other way. She laughed and turned back around. "Your buddies left you," she said to the two men now writhing on the ground in pain. "Be glad that I didn't kill you."
Meow.
The kitten jumped out of the box Abel had put him in and trotted over to Abel, pushing himself up against her feet. Now at least she wouldn't be alone on her walk. She walked out of the alley and continued along the sidewalk. What a night.

James Manson needed a walk. It has been a few days ago since a student left the school and he still didn't feel all ok. She was special because she had the same powers at Logan, but for him every student was special. Lucky for James that he was blind, or not so lucky as he looked around the streets. The nature being his side he looked to some people running. "We gotta get out of here, that girl is a freak and too strong."A man said.
James looked to him as he felt how one bumped right into him. He grabbed his cane as he knocked him to the ground. "Watch next time, before you hit a blind guy again."James said. The man looked to him as he felt the cane hitting him. So a mutant is here.James thought as he looked around. He saw a alley as he looked to a girl coming out of it. He smiled as he put his blind act on as he knew it would make people think weird.
So that said James walked slowly further to her as he suddenly hit the girl with his cane. "Oh I am sorry, I never knew something was here,"James said as he tried to find the person with his hands.

Abel was startled by the sound of another voice. She figured it was one of the men again, coming back to see if they could take her by surprise this time. "I thought I got rid of you guys the first time," she grumbled, her hands loose beside her. This time, instead of fire or air, small jolts of electricity began to bounce from her fingertips. She could change from fire, to electricity, to ice and back again in a matter of seconds. She believed that the fact that she'd been taught martial arts for her whole teenage life had given her discipline. The mutant clenched her teeth and turned around, finally seeing that there was no one actually after her. Instead, there was a man with a cane and behind him, the two goons running off in the distance.
Her eyes shifted from the fleeing men, to the one standing in front of her, who'd just hit her with his cane. She jumped back a little bit and furrowed her eyebrows. Abel's first reflex was to say something rude and walk away, but for once, she actually tried to process what she would do. Most of the time Abel could never control her bipolar disorder, but there were some occasions where she could actually think it through. This was one of them. She wasn't quite sure what to do at first when he started to reach for her. She looked at his hands for a moment, then looked at his face, and for the first time, noticed that he was blind.
Immediately she felt horrible. "I'm sorry!" she said, although she did nothing wrong at all. "I mean, I'm sorry, I should have been watching where I was going..." Her voice went soft and she stepped toward him so he could feel her arm. The black kitten she'd found started to purr at her feet and looked up at Abel with golden eyes.

James looked to the girl as he felt her arm. He gave a soft smile to her as he heard what she said. "No I Should be the one to say sorry."James said as he looked to her. "I suddenly hit you out of no where with my cane."James said. "I hope I didn't hurt you so hard."James said as he felt sorry if he did. He then heard something purr as he tried to reach for the cat. When he found it, he petted the cat a bit and found the spot it liked.
After a few moments with touching the kitty he got up as he looked to her again. "I am James Manson, 21 years old and professor of Fighting."James said as he looked to her. "I may sound weird to you that I give fighting, but I am not so guilty as you think."James said. "Blind people are underestimated."He said as he gave a smile.
He looked to her as he knew something about the bolt, so he asked it. "Miss, I might have been weird or something, but did I just feel something electricity around you?"James asked as he looked to her. He didn't want to confront her right away, that he was a mutant or that she was a mutant. He never liked to do that. He rather talk a bit and might have a next meeting or anything like that, but just to help her or him.

As he spoke, Abel shook her head. "No, no. You were just trying to find your way around," she said. She smiled when he noticed the kitten and bent down to pet him. She planned on keeping the feline as some company when people weren't around. Considering her problem, the fact that sometimes she isn't a people person at all, having an animal around would help considerably. When she was younger, she had no human contact what so ever besides her trainer and father. She never had friends. In fact, she forgot what it was like to have friends. Sometimes she even forgot how to speak to another person. As usual, Abel got caught up in her own thoughts and zoned out for a moment, nearly forgetting the kitty and male standing in front of her.
It wasn't until he spoke that she was brought back to earth, and she gave him sort of a small half smile, even though he couldn't really see it. "I'm, uh, Abel," she said awkwardly, scratching the top of her head. Her eyebrows raised. Fighting? She looked him up and down. He was tall, thin but pretty muscular. He looked like he took care of himself. Something told Abel that he wasn't just another normal human being. He had to have some sort of benefit. Maybe he was a mutant himself. "Then I won't underestimate you." She smiled and looked back down at the kitten, who was rolling on the ground to scratch at his back more.
When the man mentioned electricity, she gasped quietly and clenched her fists, then shook them lose. Sometimes her powers wouldn't completely fade unless she actually paid attention. "Uh... yeah," she mumbled, looking down. Come on, he was blind. If he had a problem with it, she could get away easily and not have to fight again. But of course, he had told her that blind people are not to be underestimated.. Especially if he was a mutant.

"I shall tell you then."James said as he looked to her. "I tried to find my way around because I am a mutant."James said looking to her. He looked around as no one was near them. He tapped his cane as a rose appeared. "I control nature."James said. "I can look with the nature. They gave me the sight."James said as he looked to her. He saw her getting lost in thoughts as he gave a soft smile.
"Shall we start over then Abel?"James said. "I am James Manson, professor in blindness, and teach students how to work with that."James said. "I heard the males talking as I wanted to see it for myself."James said. "Don't think it wrong, but everyone is special, in there own way."James said as he gave smile again.
"So yeah everything is fine for me if you think you are fine too."James said. He put out his hand as he waited for a shake. "I don't want to fight, I don't like it, but since I am blind I need to fight all the time."James said. A man run up to him as James knew it. He turned around as he smacked him with his cane. "Never try to steal from a blind guy."James said.

Abel let a small, short gasp of air leave her lips when he said he was a mutant. She would have felt kind of bad if she ended up having to flee. He'd told her to never underestimate a blind person, but of course she would never attempt to physically hurt one, even if they were capable of fighting back. It just didn't seem right. Her eyes followed the length of his cane when he tapped it, and her eyes widened slightly from surprise when a single rose appeared instantly from the earth. So he could control nature. She looked from the flower to James and laughed quietly. He told her that his power, the nature, gave him sight. With her curiosity peaked, Abel tilted her head. "You say it gives you the ability to see?" she asked, furrowing her eyebrows. "How? You can actually like.. see even though you're... blind?"
Abel looked at the ground and nodded. She agreed. Everyone was special in their own way, but others like her, mutants, were especially special. They had the ability to do things no human could. They defied the laws of nature, but then again, weren't rules meant to be broken? "I can manipulate and create pretty much anything that has to do with earth," she said, looking back up at James. She put her hands together, creating a pocket between her palms as if she were holding a ball inside her hands. Slowly a red glow appeared beneath her skin and she opened her hands, showing the fellow mutant beside her what she could do. A large ball of flames hovered over her hands and she grinned. "I can create fire, water, earth, electricity, ice and so on and so on.. and I can make it do anything I want to."
Noticing that he was waiting for a handshake, Abel distinguished her flame and reached out, shaking his hand. She then noticed something out of the corner of her eye. Abel only had enough time to step back and hold out her hand to attack before James took the person down.

James looked to her as he heard what she said. "My dear Abel, The nature is something that are my eyes. "James said. "They send me signals, I don't see how the persons look, but I see shapes of them."He said. "I will show you what I mean."James said as he walked a bit closer. He touched her nose softly and then her hand. "As you can see, I could see the shape of your nose, and knew it was there, just like your hand."James said.
James felt the warmth of the large ball of flame as he looked to her. "I can hear it flowing in your hand, I don't see it, but my hearing is something, that doesn't stop to hear it."James said as he looked to her. He smiled as he heard her powers. "That is really a great power, and if you can control it, I think it can be very powerful in one way or another."He said. "Since you can make from small, big and from big to small."He said. "Or doesn't your power work like that?"He asked as again.
He rubbed the dust of his jeans as he turned around. "Sorry where were we, when we got interrupted by this fellow."James said as he looked to the guy on the ground and then back to Abel.
