Emma had finally returned to the mansion, she heard what had happened. She grew afraid, she knew Logan would take that in a bad way. She always cared about him, but she never would tell him. She didn't think it was right. She had left a small note on his bed, she didn't say who she was. Just to come to the Garden, she was thinking of what to say, what to do. He had many friends, so she thought that his friends would help him.
But as she looked up at the sky she closed her eyes, everything inside her wanted to scream. Her soul in the vessel which was like Jean. They had been good friends for many years. She would never allow herself to cry, she could feel the urge to but refused to let it happen. She remembered a lot with them. Jean was at peace, at least she hoped so. Logan having to kill her...
No she shook the feeling out, she opened up her eyes and smiled seeing Logan. She stood up.
"Hi Logan" She said with a sweet voice.

Logan had just come from the Danger Room at a request from the Professor to test out a new simulation he had made. The Sentinels were becoming the latest rave and Apocolypse, an enemy that the Professor said Jean would summon sent shivers down his spine. This guy was in some kind of pyramid and when brought back from his eternal rest he would reign destruction on the entire world enslaving mutants and killing humans. Fighting him was a difficult battle, and, he didn't really get that far before being thrown through the observation window up above.
The simulation had ended and he had to patch himself up in the medical ward before proceeding to his room for a cold shower. Upon arriving in his room he ran a hand through his hair to find a note on his bed. The note smelled of flowers and told him to meet this particular person in the garden. Tossing the note aside he went to take a quick shower and pulled glass shards from his muscled body. Once he was done he got into some fresh clothes and proceeded to the garden.
Stepping down the steps he noticed a rather attractive woman who had all the right proportions and had a face that stung, like from the past. Approaching her he raised a curious eyebrow. "Uh hi...do I know you?" Apparently he was saying that a lot these days. Still, he didn't walk away, he just kept his guard up a tad.

She looked up at him and smiled, she laughed softly when he didn't remember her. "Dear Logan, it's been a long time." She had bumped into him on a mission she helped the xmen with. "Emma Frost, we were on a mission together. I heard the news about Jean, I was out of state. " She hoped he would remember her, she crossed her leg over the other. Something in his eyes were sad.
It almost crushed her heart, she always had a crush on him. She remembered the mission, it was to help a mutant who was in trouble. She planned on staying permanetly, looking into his eyes, wondering if he would remember.

Logan scratched at the scruff on his face and tried to picture her. She ahd said they were on a mission together, and yet, why didn't her name ring a bell? Looking through his memories he remembered it was a little back when the team was still together. She was originally flirting with Scott, but, he showed no interest which he cursed for he wanted to be with Jean. Emma then moved over to him, bumping into him and making it seem accidental. He hadn't really remembered because it was just a brief encounter and then she disappeared.
"Right...your the woman that flirted with Scott back then," he noted knowing this would cause a fluster to appear on her face. "So, what have you been up to lately Frost?" He stretched his arms and went to take a seat on a bench.

She laughed softly "Yeah I was flirting with him, I was stupid back then. " She said kindly. Rubbing the back of her neck she looked at him as he sat down. "I have decided to join up with Xavier and the xmen. I want to do something good with my life, besides I missed you" She said with a grin on his face.
Hell he was drop dead gorgious to her, she knew all about the metal and claws. Emma wondered what was going on in his head. She had the power to, but wouldn't use her powers on him. "How are you doing Logan?" She said softly.

Logan was glad she was joining up with Xavier and the team. Truth be told, evil was awfully quiet these days and they needed all the help they could get. Though, when she said she missed him he tried to not let this go awkward or have him stumble over his words. Looking over at the flowers he tried to keep his mind focused.
Sure it had been a long time since he dated anyone, or had them touch him, but it was his own doing and his committment to Jean that kept him away from straying towards other women. Sighing he leant his head up against the bench rest and shrugged. "Well, trying to move on since Jean's passing. It is hard at times...especially when this whole damn place reminds me of her."

Emma nodded to him, but was glad he was healing. "So much has happened, feels like ive walked into a fight. But I'm here to help" She crossed her arms thinking. "I was at a wedding, made me want to find a boyfriend" She chuckled some. She didn't like being single, but she wouldn't admit it to anyone, espacilly Logan. She was happy now, she didn't know if it was right to feel that way.
"I'm just sorry I wasn't here, maybe I could have done something"

Logan nodded his head at her story. Ever since Jean had died, and Rogue had gave him that note, he felt he sholdn't be waiting for life anymore. Life should now be passed on to someone else, and for him to get a life he wanted the most. It didn't make sense, but, he wanted to have a girlfriend, he wanted to feel her up against him as he kissed her. It was the little things that made life worth fighting for. Looking across at her he had to admit she had gotten sexier since he last saw her.
Shaking his head he went on what she said last. "The sentiment is nice Emma, but, Jean was lost to the Phonenix in the end. We can only repair the now, and, I thank you for being here."

She was taken back, he was thinking her? Emma Everything around them went silent. But all of a sudden she heard a couple birds. "Your welcome" She said in a happy tone. "Sometimes life bites you in the ass, but healing is the hard part" She shrugged the thought her mind had shown her. "thanks for the warm welcome" She was surprised how he said it.
She was always rough, but she loved fiesty men. She didn't know what to say now, she bit her lip, trying to think of questions. But thought for a moment.
"I am at peace here, I love the silence. But im sure that will change in a bit. When the kids are out playing" She smirked.
"How's the teaching job?" Emma asked.

"Yeah, healing can be a, well, it can be a rough pain. I've been through a lot, and, I'm sure Scott has to. The guy has lost his memory and is still confused about things, and, I feel it is my responsibility to help him out. The guy isn't that bad, and, I've borrowed his bike enough to appreciate him...somewhat." Logan looked across her and wondered what was on her mind.
The kids were a distraction at time, like when he was at the pool, but they somehow brought a solace and peace here. Perhaps it was knowing they were the future, and they were just figures guiding them in the end.
"Teaching is great,, I had all my students show up late on the first day. I had one student read too much into my past, and another who just came late and I had nothing to do but get out of there. How is life for you?"

She nodded to him "A pain in the ass lately, I was on the road for a while. But im going to be a teacher myself. I have to talk to Charles before I know I have a job. Not to sure what class to teach" She said simply. Looking at him, she just wanted to kiss him. Emma was bumed he didn't remember her, but she understood why. She had only been around for a few months, now she was here to stay.
"Im glad im back, I was missing everything. I bumped into other gifted kids while I was on a road trip, trying to figure out what I want in life."

"I actually have an assignment for you," he said getting up and looking over at her. "At the moment Xavier has his teaching staff pretty full, but, how would you feel about being a private tutor, a mentor of sorts to a student of mine? The two of you have the same elemental component as your weapon, ice, and he can be a tad cocky for his own good. I would pay you, anything you want really."
I know it seems like I'm desperate, but, perhaps this will give her a purpose here. Plus, I have plenty of money and besides fixing Scott's bike, not much to do with it.

She thought for just a second, she had a soft smile on her face. Hearing his question, she nodded. "Sounds fun, I will do it" She said with a kind look on her face. She looked around, everyone gone, it was always better to talk alone. Taking a big breath and sighed, her hand massaging her neck. "the student sounds like you a little bit" She said with a grin. She leaned back on the bench, she had never been a teacher.

"He does, which is why I have taken a special interest in him. When we needed a place to hide, Bobby suggested his place. Plus, he is looking out for Rogue, a girl that I think of as my own daughter...or sister, one of those areas. The guy has potential to be a teacher and possible field leader in the future, and, I want to lead him there." Logan got up and went to sit next to Emma, somehow drawn to her just by the way she let out a big breath and her chest slowly pushed out.
I can't believe I even thought that, he noted as he looked around at the empty garden. "Yep, and, if you do well with Bobby...you just might find a classroom available for ya."

She watched him sit down beside him, it was rather strange to be so close to him. They didn't know each other to well. And yet she was attracted to him, she sighed and thought for a moment. "this will be a rather interesting time here, im sure it will be fun" She chuckled a bit. With a sigh she couldn't help it.
"I will take him under my wing, and maybe I will do the same thing with you. If you let me that is" She said with a serious expression.
