Josiah brought his hand back and rubbed the back of his head when she didn't shake it. "Well Rebbecca, Lynx it is nice to meet you. And I meant it when i said no one is going to hurt you. Were all the same here, were all mutants"
He shook his head when she didn't say anything. With a shrug he locked his hands behind his back and began to whistle while he waited for his turn to train. He may be an X-Men but he still enjoyed training with his friends.

Rebbecca turned to face crossfire she could sense she had done something to unnerve him and so now resting her arms at her side spoke again.
"Look, no offense, but I don't do the whole group thing very well, its not you" she said and looked at him up and down, he wasn't that bad to look at but she'd just arrived. She gave a deep sigh as she watched every one. Her leg slipping from the wall and she now stood facing him.
"Its just the way I am " she said shoving her hands deep in her pockets again now thinking she had not made a good impression that time.

Josiah had had a feeling she would apologize. He gave a shrug and looked at her, "It was nothing. I understand I was the same way when i first showed up here. I didn't know a soul and wasn't my charming self back than," he laughed. He gave her a smile that reached all the way to his eye's.
He noticed Justin had walked into the room and decided to go see how he was doing. "I'll be right back Lynx." As he stepped up to Justin he smiled. Since meeting him the other day he had tried to learn sign language better. Quickly he went through what he learned and signed *Hey, hows it going?"

Justin saw Josiah walk over to him and smiled. Well, at least there was one friendly face here. Two of the girls seemed scary. He wondered what the teacher would make him do. He couldn’t really display his power since he needed skin to skin contact and they only lasted for fifteen minutes. Maybe he should explain this to Josiah – he may be able to help out. He was cool with him tagging along to the pool with him the other day so why shouldn’t he be cool with this?
<<Good thanks – just a bit nervous>> signed Justin. He then got a card out and showed it to his new friend. I can’t show my power – it’s not going to work with a dummy I don’t think. I need skin to skin contact. Please help me explain this to the teacher. The teacher, as far as Justin could see, was a bald aging man with a gentle presence about him. He could talk to him about it personally but the disabled boy didn’t want to disturb the guy.

Josiah nodded that was understandable and signed back, so was I on my first day. Unable to sign the rest he just spoke the rest. "But don't worry everything will be fine." Seeing the card he quickly read it and nodded. "Yea that's a tough one I would offer myself but I don't know how that would work. When I touch people I absorb there powers and memory's and can kill them if I don't break contact quick enough."
After a minute he decided to test what would happen. they would just touch real quick for a second only. "Ok I have a question, would you be all right if we had a test to see what would happen if we both touched?" He took one of his gloves off but made no move to do anything else.

Bobby had dozed off for a bit and when he woke he noticed there were a lot more people here then before. He was close to a veteran among students, seeing how he was here when Jean and Cyclops were teaching classes. Their faces were all new to him, and, the Professor seemed focused on this Makayla girl. I feel so out of place amongst the new students, he thought, still, Logan told me I had to destroy 10 Sentinels...and that was just one. With the way the Professor is, he will likely take his time taking in all the new students and taking them through their powers...and then where would that leave him?
"Hi everyone, Bobby here, or Iceman to regulars, I think I can help the Professor out here some. Professor Logan recently installed a program at the Professor's order to test us mutants against a growing threat. For those of you who arrived late, they are called Sentinels, mechanical garbage that patrol the streets eager to take us away so our powers can be taken from us. The Program reboots after one is destroyed, so, think of it like the Hydra of Greek mythology. Speaking of...all who are anxious to prove themselves...now is the time."
Bobby heard the mechanical stompings of the Sentinels approaching from far behind the waste piles and he gave a wink at everyone. Skating off he turned his body to ice and shot forth over the rise of the garbage and hand sprang over a cable shot forth from the Sentinel. Class is now in session, he thought with a smirk.

Charles looked to what happened as he was lost in thoughts. As he saw what happened he finally got back to sense. "Ok, everyone into the Danger Room."Charles said as he looked to them. "Since you all can't wait and you need to learn your powers, I am going to learn you something different."Charles said. "This time you all need to do teamwork, this simulation will be teamwork."Charles said as he looked to them. "If you want to do solo, it won't work."Charles said as he put the simulation on. It might be hard but the simulation changed again as it was against other mutants. It was the Alcatrez fight again hoping they would work together.

Crossfire nodded this should be fun. He needed to work on his team work any way. "So what are we going to be facing Professor? I hope it's hard I could use a work out," he laughed. Turning to Justin he gave a cocky smile, "no worry's I'll help you I may not be a teacher yet but I'm not a student either. I've bean through this stuff hundreds of times in the past five years."
Taking out his throwing knife he held it in front of him. It may be used for throwing but he could use it as a defense as well for some things. When there surroundings turned into Alcatraz he swallowed nervously. He had never done this one before and he hadn't bean there during the fight.

Rebbecca shook her head and growled she hated working as a team she preferred being alone " great, just what i aways wanted, some stupid boy getting in the way" she snapped and walked away from the group toward a dummy taking her claws she spun slicing it on two, its head rolled to her feet and she kicked it away. Moving to a wall she sat down against it her claws grating on the floor of the danger room in her anger and frustration at being totally ignored once more..

Justin was a confused as to what he should do. Should he risk hurting his new friend? Before he could sign anything the teacher told them to go inside, in which the interior changed and he was in a place, where it was raining and there seemed to be hundreds of people in front of him. Now Handprint felt truly nervous, and scared. Though Crossfire was trying reassure him it didn’t do much to help him.
Handprint walked a few steps, dodging a few people who had lunged. He then jabbed a mutant in the arm, paralysing him. His gloves would be taken off when he needed to but for now he would use his pressure point striking. He made short work of the guy and then moved on.

Taking off his gloves he quickly took care of a girl who had needle like spikes protruding from her body. As he looked around for Justin. He watched as he easily took care of a guy. Holding back the urge to laugh he ran to his side. "Don't worry i got your back Justin your doing great." Just as he finished that sentence a guy in a weird suit appeared who seemed to have the ability to control metal. "Not good man, not good," he whispered. The only part of him that had skin showing was his face. He knew his psychic abilities would have no affect on this guy. For his helmet blocked all Psychic attacks.
When he spotted a Lynx leaning against a building he was wondering why she wasn't fighting. When he saw a guy heading for her he quickly used a psychic attack and made him pass out. Pain sliced through him after he used it but quickly shook it off and motioned for Lynx to join them.

Rebbecca watched what was going on she turned her head and saw a Boy walking over to her , or at lest start to be fore he crumpled to the floor "humm " she said she saw behind him a second motioned for her to join them , with her hands placed firmly in her pocket she walked over and waited for one of them to talk.
"well ?" she asked looking the boy in the eyes as she waited "you asked me over now here i am" she said her claws sliding ab ck and forth from her hands as she spoke.
