Tara's eyes flickered between the Professor and the opposing shape shifter. A sudden realization dawned upon her, she was being made a fool of. Tara's brow furrowed, she desperately wanted to smash the shape shifter into the ground, but with her luck, she would end up smashing herself, or even worse, the Professor instead. She took a few steps backwards instead, she would leave this to the Prof, but turning the shape shifter into a baby sounded amusing at the very least.
But, she watched as Luna turned into a crow. She was so close to leaving the mansion because of her. Tara opened her mouth, closed it, then attempted once more, "Professor, I'm sorry, I didn't know," the words stumbling out of her mouth.
what happened to the gardens
Tara turned towards the voice and nearly stumbled back. It was him! Or was it, Luna must have been impersonating him too, or at least Tara hoped so. "I'm sorry, that's my fault, I didn't mean to, I-" Tara broke off.

"Calm down my child calm down."Charles said as he moved a bit. He looked to Tara and then to James and the other person. "It is fine my child."Charles said walking to Tara. "Don't forget anyone can be fooled, but to tell you this. I am not a person who think people failed in you."Charles said. "So if people say you failed and shouldn't be here, then please know it wasn't me."Charles said. He then saw how James fixed the gardens again. "Control yourself James, you have done a great job, but you shouldn't worry about her anymore."Charles said. "We had a shapeshifter here."He said turning to Crossfire. "So please keep in mind, we have people like that too."Charles said.
"As soon as we find a person that can explain the difference to a Shapeshifter and the real one, then I am going to work on that for sure."Charles said as he looked to the people around him.

Crossfire walked up to Tara and rested his hand on her shoulder. "You ok Kiddo? Don't worry the Luna is gone now. If you ever think someone isn't for real test them ask them a question that you know only the real person would know. Like what did Wolverine do in training the other day or something like that ok? Any way if you are ever in trouble and need some help just call out for me and I'll hear yea."
Walking over to the Professor he sighed, "we need to work on a better security program. Got any ideas?" They needed a way to detect shape shifters and others who will not be detected by the ground security.

Tara nodded her head at the Professors words, she wouldn't let that happen again. But part of her knew that it wasn't her fault, Tara had only been on the grounds for barely a week, she hardly knew the staff or the students. She felt some of the guilt life off of her shoulders now. At least the ground is back to normal, she thought wincing at the damage she did cause.
"I'm alright," she said, the corner of her mouth twitched upward in a half attempted smile. Then pursed her lips together creating a thin line, something was bothering her though. Why was this Luna trying to get her to leave the mansion to join this brotherhood, Tara didn't even have the vaguest idea who the brotherhood was.
