Danielle walked the lab checking on results of requested investigations that had come in. She looked at one machine to another killing time nobody needed her help in healing a broken bone or cut from working out in the danger room.
She sat moving papers around filing them as she though about Deadpool she used her thoughts of him as a way to keep going even though nothing was committed between them but when they did she knew it meant a lot.
Flinignthe last of the files she heard one machine beep to say it was finished , walking over the click of her heels echoed around the room , she felt at home in the lab it was just like the one she had been in at the facility but this one aloud her to leave. She tore the paper from the machine and studied it as she walked to a coffee maker poring a cup she sat down to read it.

Betsy had been exploring the Basement Level, and heard footsteps in the Lab. She thought the worst, and of course, came to investigate. Silently, she stalked up to the lab, seeing a woman in it. Of course, she didn't know this woman--- it was suprising how much she didn't know around here.
"Hello? Psylocke inquired, to the woman. She gazed at her through glaring eyes, and laid her hands on either hip.

Danielle looked up from her microscope and smiled at a young woman with purple hair who now stood in her lab.
"Hi Elizabeth , right , Im danielle, Doctor Danielle Blaylock, how can I help you don't look hurt" she said and smiled standing and walking over to her "I'm here to help any one who needs it" she kept her voice soft and freindly the same with her smile as she stood facing her .

Elizabeth nodded, slowly. She didn't completely trust the woman. She could be a shapeshifter, of sorts. "Yes, of course. I am Elizabeth. She gave a very fake-looking smile. She removed one hand from one hip.
"No, I don't recquire any medical attention, She let out a deep breath. "I'm sorry, I just was curious." She extended a perfectly manicured hand, giving an actual smile this time. "Big building. Lots' of people, I don't know everyone yet.

Danielle smiled at Elizabeth "No your in perfect health I can tell" she said smiling as she took her hand feeling every gene in her body healthy and working for a split second.
"It will take time to know every one " she said "but your welcome down here just to talk when you need it " she said and smiled and turned to tare off a piece of paper and walk back to her "sorry always busy for a gene manipulator" she said smiling hoping she hadn't just scared her off by mentioning her ability.

Psylocke nodded, a little dazed. "Yes, it will take me some time. I don't know if I'll get to know everyone, but I'll work on that."
She raised her eyebrows, intrigued. "A gene manipulator? I've never heard of one. What is it?" She asked, smiling. Obviously not scared away by her ability. Psylocke had some pretty strange abilities herself .

Danielle smiled "yes, I believe I'm the only one here, well I've not met any others yet" she said looking at the paper then up at her smiling as she filed it "I can sense if your genes are working properly and if not stimulate cells growth there for healing you quicker that normal, one reason i am a doctor" she said with a grin. "I hope i am not scaring you its rare for any body to ask about my ability"

Psylocke pondered this for a second, and looked up. "So, you're a healer?" She asked, hoping she didn't simplify the Doctor's ability to whereas she felt degraded. "A, gene-healer, I mean. She quickly added, but didn't know if that was the rgiht wording.

Danielle smiled as she looked at her. "yes I guess so " she said and sat back in her chair looking at her "you settled in yet?" she asked brushing her hair from her face and smiling. Standing she moved to another machine and took out a jug with black hot coffee.
"you want a cup?" she asked " I asked for it if I'm to be down here working I need to have refreshments, call it a perk " she grinned and chuckled as she pored two cups walking over she handed one to Elizabeth then sat on the corner of her desk "so what did bring you here , curiosity at your being here?" she blow across the top of the cup before taking a sip.

Psylocke took the coffee, and took a sip. "I was just looking around, when I heard someone in here. Curiousity, yes." She said, and sat down, crossing her legs. She smiled, looking into Blaylock's thoughts. She didn't seem to have a hidden agenda, but wasn't easy to read. She continued her probe, waiting for her response.

Danielle looked up at her and smiled. "if you want to know about me just ask you don't have to probe" she said softly turning to face her "I know when im being probed mentaly, unfortuanly i have had it so many times I have grown to know." she crossed her legs watching her "so what do you plan on doing while your here , teach or just watch?" she asked wondering if she would be seeing a lot more of her around the manshion.

She blushed, very embarassed. She stopped probing. "I'm sorry," She said quickly, her face reddening. "I didn't mean to intrude..." She said. "And that ability will prove useful, believe me. I'm immune to all psychic probes, so I would know." She smiled.
"I'd like to teach eventually," said Psylocke thoughtfully. But for now, I'm just going to be on the team, and aid whatever way I can." She sipped her coffee.

Danielle smiled "thats ok, its more to protect you , you see i have had some really bad things happen to me and if you probe the wrong area you could open them up and I don't need that right now ,OK" she said and turned to face her.
"Thats good, we need more teachers around here "she said "I personally don't have the patients to teach so thats why I'm down here, its kinda relaxing and I hardly interact with people , I'm kinda no good with more than one person" she said and looked into the cooling cup and black coffee that sat inside it.

Psylocke looked intrigued. She smiled as if she was thinking nothing of it, but she thought about what exactly she was talking about. She arched her eyebrow, still smiling, and sipped her coffee. This was genuinely interesting, and she still wondered what she meant 'it's more to protect you.' She decided not to think about it for now, and continued the conversation.
"Don't you ever get lonely?" She asked. She didn't have the patience to teach, but she was a doctor... Very interesting. She wasn't good with people? Odd, yes, but Psylocke wondered if she was really longing to be with people. She bit her lip lightly, waiting for her reply.

Danielle looked at her and smiled softly "all the time" she said and slipped the paper she now held into a file that lay in front of her. Her hands shook a little but she took a deep breath.Then glanced at her standing she moved to tidy up some things on a tray but then stopped as if making a decision.
"I'm sorry, There is only one person who know what I went threw as he went threw it himself " she sat back down and turned the chair so she faced her.
"you want to read my mind go ahead, but I warn you, its not pretty in there" she sighed waiting to feel her start her probe.
