Oh, yes. Tony could always count on her as he might need. Pepper had always been at his side and always she had helped and cared. That was one of the duties as an assistant. When her husband died, she focused on caring for Tony because he was the only thing she had left her in the world. Thanks to him, Pepper had been able to get ahead and she had never confessed this to him.
Now she enjoyed most of the times when she was dancing with him for the first time the press ceased to exist for her and nothing else matters, just being around him. Maybe it was for the champagne that was in it to be a bit uninhibited and bold with Tony. When flashes of light from the cameras hit her blue eyes, she buried her face in the crook of the neck of Tony inspiring aroma. Her breasts touched the soft fabric of his tuxedo and blushed more when he started to lean a bit closer to her face. Damn it, I have been too explicit ....Thought trying not to get nervous, she trembled and Tony could feel it. "It's something I'm willing to try, Mr. Stark. And if we live after that kiss, we can continue this interesting conversation at home, alone ...". Pepper heard nothing but just felt the touch of his lips on hers. A chill and a more closed approach was dissolved in seconds.
"Can I please stay, Dad?"
Pepper blinked several times before returning to the real world and quickly separated from Tony, she looked at the girl who had appeared out of nowhere. He did not understand anything. Pepper's whole body tensed and looked at Tony quickly, a look of reproach and anger. That girl had no blame for anything, nor have such an irresponsible father. Press to hear the girl's rounded up the three, the flashes from cameras began to overwhelm Pepper so that he could not breathe it. "You were surprised?! You surprised to have a secret daughter?!. Because you do not you tell me ??!".
The questions from the press were countless. Pepper was hurt and she was right to be.
"And when I'm going to say, Tony?. When she married and with children!. I'm tired Tony!. I got tired see you risk your life every moment, to put yourself in danger. And now you tell me who has been a surprise for you about your secret daughter?!. Sorry, girl. But I have to tell you that you have a very irresponsible parent. " Pepper said the girl who had appeared on the ball. "What else should I know, Tony?! That you're dying ?!!!". Pepper looked hurt for the last time with Tony before sh left there, after having pushed aside the press out of there. She would not give him the satisfaction of seeing her mourn her.

After the nice kiss and after his daughter appeared it seemed all hell broke lose in well fall swoop. He looked to Pepper who got furious with him over the surprise of his secret daughter. He understood her anger but he thought it to be out of place seeing as he even didn't know. "Pepper I didn't know I had one in till I saved her from a bunch of terrorists about a day ago" he told her in an attempt to calm her down. He could hear the questions that the press were bombarding them with as the lights from there cameras flashed. He could hear the questions of Abigail and if she truly was his daughter. At the moment however he didn't care, he just cared about trying to calm Pepper down. She kept on talking more like venting on him as she up and left the party. As he tried to go after her he ended up getting stopped by the press. They again continued to bombard him with questions trying hard to get the answers to.
He squinted a bit to the flashing lights of the press as he got a bit more serious. "Yes Abigail is my daughter now if you can excuse me I have to do something" he said as he pushed his way through the crowd. But as he reached inside he couldn't find Pepper and looked a bit down. "Dammit.." he said as he sighed and rubbed his eyes, he walked over to see Abby getting attacked by the reporters. He went over to her blocking her a bit, "If your a reporter go back to the party or I will have to ask you to leave" he told them. They all understood and left them be, after they left he leaned over the edge.
At that moment he felt a weird feeling with in his body, as if he all of a sudden felt a bit weak. His head started to heart a bit, but before long he started to feel better a bit. Tony wondered what was that and made a mental note to check on it later. He looked over to Abby not fully know what she felt on the situation. "Well Abby if you want you can stay here with me, I can't leave yet so want something to drink you look a bit thirsty" he told her with a smile.

Abby was a bit confused as Miss Potts got angry, and tore her father a new one. She stood completely still as if she were a deer caught in a pair of headlights. Even the flash of the cameras didn’t even grab her attention, nor did the questions of if she was really Tony Stark’s daughter. She was only concerned with what she had just messed up by asking if she could stay and calling him ‘dad’. She then slowly started to back away as she saw Miss Potts seem to storm off after saying that she had an irresponsible parent. Then her last statement brought her out of her stupor. Was he really? She couldn’t lose both of her parents so close together… She had just met him…
She watched as her father attempted to chase down his assistant, leaving her to fend off the vultures that were the media. The started to close in on her, and she could just barely heard him tell one of the ones that where after him say that she was his daughter. She then watched as she disappeared from sight, and the media just pressed in on her more. She continued to back into a corner, and then attempted to climb the wall behind her when they continued to press on her. She could feel them reach out and attempt to stop her retreat, and she only continued to get away from them. She wondered how her mother could handle all the media, as she was the one to buffer them from her life…
Next thing Abby knew, she had closed her eyes in an attempt to make them go away. Then she heard her father speak, and opened her eyes. He was standing between her and the bloodsucking press, telling them that if they are a reporter to return to the party or they will be asked to leave. She took a deep breath, and calmed herself down grateful that he had stepped in and stopped them. She watched as he then leaned over the edge and seemed to think of what to do. She watched as he seemed to be sick or something, but then that seemed to pass.
”Well Abby if you want you can stay here with me, I can’t leave yet so want something to drink you look a bit thirsty”
She slowly approached him a bit worried at the scene she had just caused, and looked down to the ground. ”I’m sorry… I should have stayed in the apartment…” She apologized, feeling like it was her fault. Just as she did with her mother’s death. She then nodded her head to tell him that she was thirsty, and turned to open the door back to the party to get the attention of a passing waiter. However, all she got was the attention of the press that seemed to have converged at the door. She quickly closed the door, and leaned against it. ”On second thought, I’m really not that thirsty…” She said with a bit of the deer caught in the headlight look on her face. She then walked back over to her father’s side and looked at him. ”Is what Miss Potts said true? Are you…” She trailed off, as she can’t bring herself to repeat the woman’s last words before she left. She could feel the tears start to well up in her eyes at the thought of it.

Blade was invited to Tony's Christmas party. He wasn't a big person on events like these. Only time he went into areas of alot of people was to hunt a vampire. They had their clubs and lairs that they went to and he knew where they all were and how to find them. He drove his car to Tony's place in New York.
New York was a battle ground for the super human and the supernatural. He specialized in the supernatural himself being apart of it was a whole story in itself.
He parked his car and got out to take the elevator up to Tony's. He hasn't seen Tony since he last worked for him and since the super humans turned to vampires. The elevator stopped and he got off and stepped into Tony's New York home. He still wore his Iconic uniform, cause he could be called away at any moment. Vampires thrive at night and this is when the party was going on.
He walked around the party and went to the bar. He made sure he had his serum in his pocket. He couldnt be having his bloodlust come in while in a civilized place like this. He noticed Tony was talking to a little girl and didnt want to intrude. He hung back until the man was free.

Nichole was in a beautiful but modern dress. It would have made her mother weep if she were alive to see it. She was ordered by her captain to attend this gala, and when she had learned that it was a fundraiser to help domestic orphanages…well she couldn’t show up empty handed. She had wrote a good sizable check and handed it to the proper person to take care of it. She then began to slowly migrate around the room, and being her anti-social self. She had heard a commotion near the balcony, and spotted the famous Tony Stark talking to the equally famous Abigail Rasmussen. She wondered how the girl was holding up after being rescued from her captivity and the sudden death of her mother. She knew what it was like to lose a mother, and hoped the girl will be okay.
She sighed and began to make her way to the bar, and stopped in her tracks. She felt another vampiric vibe nearby, and her eyes laid on a rough and informally dress man at the bar already. Her eyes bulged a bit wide as she also smelled human in him. She knew she had found what is rumored to be a day-walker, a dhampir, and if her information was right, this was Blade. The famous vampire hunter. She felt the need to get out of there before he sensed her, and kill her right in front of all the other guests. However, her instinct would cause quite a commotion, and she doubt that he would kill her right there in front of everyone. Instead she approached the bar, and ordered a glass of red wine.
When it was placed in front of her, Nichole took out a silver flask and poured some of the blood contents into it. She then twirled it around after replacing the flask back into her pocket. She then took a sip, and savored the mixture of wine and the donated blood. She was aware of the vampire hunter near her at the bar the entire time.

Hank sported a black pinstripe suit, looking as well dressed and elegant as ever, as if he were making one of his political speeches. After all this party would have its share of well known businessmen. Of course the party was held by Tony Starks, the one and only Ironman. Hank felt an appearance at the party was appropriate in order to maintain a good relationship with the man. Riding the elevator up to the location of the party, Hank walked out of the elevator, immediately getting some stares from the people there. It was common for this to happen, a big blue furry Sasquatch walking into the room was a cause of alarm. Still some knew him from television, he was after all the Secretary of Mutant Affairs and thus garnered some publicity.
He, however, was not the center of attention. Near the balcony, many people crowded around, and Hank would guess Tony was over there. Now these people weren’t directly looking at him or around him, reporters and the press were not so blunt. No, instead they floated around, waiting for the moment to attack the man when he was free of any engagement he had at the moment. Hank would instead take a similar approach, wait until the man finished his business. Making small talk with a business man for a bit, Hank saw the reporters swarm in on Tony and the people he was talking to. He excused himself from the conversation and walked over to Stark’s direction.
The reporter’s had been scattering as Hank weaved his way through them and finally stood near the man who was with his daughter. Clearing his throat, hands behind his back, Hank walked next to Tony, ”Hello Tony. I’m not interrupting I hope?” He looked down at the girl and smiled at her, ”Hello there little lady, pleasure to meet you.” Hank’s attention looked back up at Tony, waiting for the man’s reaction. Hank hated to be so brutish, but at the moment he wanted to talk to Tony.

Blade sense another supernatural in the room and it was close by. He looked around to see if anyone was out of place. He then smelled the area looking around to better track the person. He realized there were close by. Noticing a female in an elegant dress. He made sure no one was noticing before he made his move.
Stepping away from the bar, he casually walked by her. Grasping her arm, he dragged her to the hall way. Getting strange looks along the way, but he didn't care he was use to it. He was being a little rough cause he new how some vampires tried to put up a facade.
As they reached the hall, he released her pushing her in front of him against the wall. Grabbing for one of his stakes in his leg holster, he pins her against the wall holding the stake to her chest. "Who are you and what are you doing here? I know what you are and know you don't belong here? Just give me a reason to another one of you."

Though he kept an eye on Tony, he was also watching the guests, and that included the beautiful blond, who walked into the room, wearing a stunning and elegant party dress, as she made her way to the bar. Though she looked similar to the other female guests, there was something different about her, besides the fact she wasn't immediately drawn to Tony like the others, something that reminded him of the War, though he couldn't put his finger on it. As he tried to figure out what it might be, a strange and eerie feeling of dajva, as his enhanced sense of smell detected the scent of blood, a scent he knew very well and would recognize anywhere, even though his senses weren't as honed or sharp as Wolverine's. As soon as he saw her drink it with her wine, his skin began to crawl, not that he would admit this, and he knew she was a vampire. After all, he dealt with his fair share of them back in the war, and was almost turned into there slave, on more than one occasion.
He began to make his way over to her, when Blade took hold of her arm and dragged her away from the crowd, fearing that he might be dealing with more then one of these creatures, he followed, doing his best to stay out of sight. He walked over, listening to Blade speak, and immediately understood that the two of them weren't working together, and it appeared that the male seemed to hate vampires, even more than Steve did, which made him wonder just who he was. He quickly removed his jacket, which was covering his new shield, and after removing the disced shaped weapon, placed it on his left arm. "I would answer the if I were you, vampire." His grip tighten, on the leather strap of the shield, as he waited to hear what she was going to say.

Nichole was enjoying her drink and was about to order another, when Blade had suddenly grabbed her and pulled her out into the hallway. He then had her pinned against the wall with a stake over her heart. ’So he is good…’ She thought to herself and smiled her charming smile. Her instinct was go to go back to her human occupation and confuse him, however she had other obligations to do first.
"Who are you and what are you doing here? I know what you are and know you don't belong here? Just give me a reason to another one of you."
She moved her hand up to the stake and gently pushed it away from her heart, but still left it pointed at her chest. That way if he didn’t like the answers she provided, she would still survive the attack. Then the duo became a trio with an arrival of another man that nagged at her memory. When he then took off his jacket and saw a familiar shield, she suddenly knew who it was. She hasn’t seen him since World War II, and wondered why he was suddenly interested in her and Blade.
”I would answer the if I were you, vampire.”
Nichole only smiled sweetly at him and his demand. ”Once he releases me, Captain America. Or would you prefer to be called Steve Rogers?” She answered them calmly, as if the situation was under her control. Well, it was actually a mixture of her human upbringing and what her vampire master had taught her. She did not let on that with two very powerful individuals on her, she was worried that she will turn into dust before the night is through.

Tony stayed over the railing of the balcony as he looked out to the festive city. His thoughts were mainly on the reporters and Abigail and if she was alright. Though he knew she must have felt horrible about the situation. He looked to Abigail and smiled at her as he placed his hand on her shoulder. "It's alright Abigail it's not your fault she just overreacted is all". Tony then looked to Abigail as she walked over to the balcony glass doors and walk back. It seemed that all the press was to much for her and she decided not to go. Tony chuckled a bit as she decided not to go get herself a drink seeing as the reporters were going to hound her. She then brought up something that Pepper had said. "No Abigail I'm not dying I'm not going any where alright" he told her smiling.
After a few moment a blue furry person appproached him and Abigail greeting them. It was dark so it took a few moments to actually get a good look at the person. After those few seconds he nodded and shook his hand. "Hello Mr. McCoy glad you can make it hope it isn't to choatic. The day just seemed to like take turns here and there today for me" he told him. He looked to Abigail and nodded to him letting her know he was alright. "Mr.McCoy here is a representative for the people over at the mansion. He also is the head reasercher for them as well the best in his field of study" he told Abigail.

Abby breathed a lot easier when he first told her that it wasn’t her fault and that Pepper just over reacted. She actually drew comfort from the hand he placed on her shoulder, and smiled back at him even if it was only a little bit. She couldn’t help but noticed that he had actually chuckled at her not going to go get herself something to drink. Her fear had disappeared when he promised her that he was not dying, and that he wasn’t going anywhere. She then returned his smile, but only bigger and brighter.
”Hello Tony. I’m not interrupting I hope? Hello there little lady, pleasure to meet you.”
Before she could say something else, they were approached by a big, blue, furry person. She of course immediately ducked behind her father and peeked around his body to look at the newcomer. When he greeted her, she shied away and hid behind her father, as she was not sure if this person was a good guy or a bad guy. Especially after the recent events in her life, but she somehow knew that her father wouldn’t allow anything happen to her while she was around. Still, the blue, furry person was a bit intimating…
"Mr.McCoy here is a representative for the people over at the mansion. He also is the head reasercher for them as well the best in his field of study"
Abby saw her father nod at her to let her know that the furry person was okay, and a good guy. She slowly edged her way out from her father, and stood more out in the open. She had noticed that some of the reporters inside were snapping pictures of them, but she of course had ignored it. She was more fascinated in the blue person in front of her, and bowed in a greeting to him. ”It is a pleasure to meet you Mr. McCoy.” She properly greeting him, and returned his smile. She then straightened up and looked to her father and Mr. McCoy. ”Mansion? What kind of mansion?” She asked wondering what her father was talking about. Then she looked to Mr. McCoy and added, ”If you don’t mind me asking, Sir, but what is your field of study?”

Blade notices the Captain America had come along. He growled at the inconvenience , seeing as how he liked to deal with things his way. He also didnt want to be the rude type, cause he knew Capt could hold his own. He stared at the vampire, as she tried to be calm. He was reading her, he could tell that she had been around for awhile, other then the fact that she meet Capt back in World War II.
"I'm not releasing you until I get some answers. You know I have done worse to your kind by means of getting info. Be my guest to push me into using them." He let up on his grip a little but kept his guard up if she still tried anything. He was good at submissions, so he knew what he was doing.
Turning his head slightly towards Captain America he spoke to him next. "Think you could tell Mr. Stark, we have an unexplained visitor in the premises and that he may need a clean up crew soon."

”Once he releases me, Captain America. Or would you prefer to be called Steve Rogers?" He didn't recognize her, but knew that didn't mean she was lying about knowing him, after all, he didn't remember much during his times as a thrall to Baron Blood and that little kid, if he could really call a twenty year old woman in a little girl's body a kid, and knew they could have met during that time. Still, he thought Union Jack, Bucky, and his self destroyed all the vampires they had come across, which meant she must have manged to escape, somehow. "I prefer Captain America, if you don't mind. I assume you were one of Blood's victims, then?" He never took his eyes off of her, but avoided direct eye contact, remembering how easily the last two had managed to trap his mind.
He nodded to Blade, not sure he could trust the man, but because he knew that Tony and his suit would be a great help if she managed to get past Blade, he agreed. "Alright, but we'll need to get the civilians out, first." He did not want to risk any innocents getting caught up in a fight like this, mainly because he didn't want see any killed because of his inability to stop one vampire. He reached his right hand to his right ear, and pressed on the small communications device, hidden there. "Tony, this is Steve. We have a situation here, and need to get all the civilians out of here, now. Also, when you're done with that, we will need Ironman." He hoped that the other SHIELD agents that were hidden in the crowd were listening in, and would help with the evacuation, giving Tony a chance to get his suit on, quicker, and give him the back up he may need.

Nichole rolled her eyes at the two men before her. She decided to address Captain America first. ”I am older than those children that had enthralled you in World War II. Besides, I was on the Allies side of the war.” She then took a deep breath to calm herself down from being called a fledgling and reminded herself that the two of them had not officially met.
"I'm not releasing you until I get some answers. You know I have done worse to your kind by means of getting info. Be my guest to push me into using them."
She returned her attention to Blade and the stake pointed at her. ”I doubt there is anything you can do to me that hasn’t already been done, Blade. But to answer your demands… I am Nichole de Brabant. In this lifetime, my last name is Knight. I am here because I was told to be, and I gave my help to the cause this gala was thrown for. I do know what it is like to be an orphan…” She answered him and then looked to Captain America.
"Tony, this is Steve. We have a situation here, and need to get all the civilians out of here, now. Also, when you're done with that, we will need Ironman."
Nichole sighed as she rolled her eyes again. This was getting tiresome. ”I am an invited guest here by my boss.” She told them and reached for her shoulder bag. She quickly opened it, reached inside, and pulled out her badge that stated she was a decorated officer of the New York City Police Force. She held it up for them to examine and sighed again as she thought that they would think it was a pretty good forgery. ”I haven’t killed anyone in more than six centuries, so you two can relax. I mean no harm here.” She told them hoping that they would believe her. If not, then drastic measures would have to be taken, and that is something that she needed to avoid.

Blade listens to Nichole as she explained herself. He has dealt with very few good vampires. All the bad ones knew who he was and if she didn't, then she may not deal with those kind. He thought about what she said and still wanted some answers. He would be less aggresive bout them but still keep his eye on her. Things didn't seem right and he could sense that something else was around but he didnt know what. Could be her age through off my senses.
Blade stared hard at Nichole before he made his decision. Her badge seemed legit having seen enough of them before. Speaking to Capt, he told him, "Hey Capt, I'll keep my eye on her. I have the equipment to deal with her also." He didnt want to keep him around for an issue he specialized in cause something else could turn up at this party.
Now talking to Nichole he said in a hard cold voice, "I'll look into who you are later but for now you will stay by myside. So let's go back to the bar, I'll be following behind you."
