Betsy's appearance softened into something that looked like pity. "Oh, Lorna, dear. You will always have that one secret, the one that is valuable and worth something. You're a mutant. You can' stop living your life, and unfortunately, that requires the sneaking around and secret activities and information that adds so much stress to our already hectic lives. And trying to stop that will just build to the pressure," Betsy winked, "Until you finally pop." She shrugged, and glared at Wanda. "We can all tell you're trying to prove a point, Wanda. Your insecurities about your place in your fathers'... 'heart'.. has obviously led up to trying to intimidate others', which does work, oh very well, my dear," Betsy took a step closer. "Do you know anyone else who does that? I think you do. His name starts' with an 'M'. And ends with an 'agneto'." Betsy's greatest asset was playing mind games, even without her telepathic abilities in use. She can easily break the strongest of minds. 'You keep saying you loathe your father. But do you really? Maybe you are him. Or maybe you try to be, to impress him? Well, as you can tell, it's not working."

Wanda could feel the rage building. " my dear i don't try and impress any one as far as i am aware i am one of the most powerful mutants in the world. There is only a handful of people who can shape reality as if it was putty. As for your stupid attempts at manipulating me i seen things thats whole life is to manipulate and taint my father is one of those things and you are not up to there level and most of them cant read your mind.
Yes i hate my father for what he has done to me. My dear i am a Latverain Gypsy. Ask my brother we are brought up with one rule no mater what your family is family. They can kill and maim but the Family is just that. My father will always be that. I may Not like him or even agree with what he has done." she turned around with a wicked smile she had promised her twin that she would not fight and she would keep it for as long as he could. manipulation was a weapon she knew all to well and she would not bite.

After all she'd tried to do, to be nice, Betsy was patronizing her? Lorna had a rather long fuse but the purple haired ninja was quickly finding the end of it. She was beginning to agree with Wanda in thinking that all Betsy wanted to do was rile them up and start a fight. And then to accuse Wanda of being like Magneto? She really, really wanted to shock some sense into the psychokinetic.
The only thing that prevented Lorna from acting on her thoughts was the years of training she'd had there at the mansion already. She'd learned how to hold her tongue, and her powers, to keep from hurting someone, even if they were beginning to deserve it.
Lorna didn't know what sort of secret life Betsy led but she honestly didn't have the sort of secrets that would endanger anyone or do nothing more then embarrass herself. It wasn't like she was standing on a New York City street and asking a telepath to broadcast to the world that she was a mutant. Shaking her head, she didn't say anything to the woman.
Wanda was holding her own temper rather well. No one could accuse her of acting on Betsy's instigations at all and somewhere within her, Lorna felt a sense of pride for the gypsy woman. Why she felt it, she didn't know nor understand but it was there all the same.

Psylocke winked at Lorna, grinning, and crossed her arms. "That's called sisterhood, dear." She said, acknowledging the feelings Lorna was having for Wanda. The Scarlet Witch could stop her from reading minds, but she couldn't stop her from reading people. It wasn't a mutant ability. "Yes, I was never trying to hurt either one of you, in any way. Help you, only. I'm not saying what I said wasn't true," She glanced at Wanda. "But as a psychic, I know you will need each other in the future. I knew it when I first had you to together. I needed something to trigger the beginning of the bond, though. And, what better to start a sibling kinship then to be a... well, bully." Psylocke continued. "I remember, even when Brian and I were in the biggest of quarrels, there was never a time he would not stand up for me. And right now, you two are a team, no? Even if it is just against little old me." Betsy said. It was clear that she had alternative motives for being so rude to them, and she had just explained it. "Now that I'm done being such a bugger, why don't you two go do some sisterly activities? Who know's what. Just, carry on. Have fun, ladies," Betsy tilted her head, took a glance at both of them, and walked away, as if she had accomplished something. Maybe she had? Who knew?

Wanda hated people like this. "you know no mater what we said it would been what you planed." her temper could not take much more of this. "weather i slapped Lorna in the face or what ever i did it would be what you were aiming for. You know what i think you get off on this sort of thing starting fights and causing trouble. Let me tell you some thing about Family, its not just about blood its about hart always being there for each other. You can family weather you are related or not.
Yes she has the same powers as my father so what? There more than one reality manipulator but it dose not mean i am kin to every one of them. what evidence do you have that she is. It must be very damming or is it your brain is small small that can only hold one idea in your mind at a time. "
wanda smiled with a few words she could wipe the woman of the earth so that she had never even been born but she knew that would change the whole course of the world and then she would have deal with strange. she was powerful but he was more so.
"You must of gleamed some thing out of her mind. so logical some one told her that she was Magneto daughter and thats enough to prey on any one mind it dose mine. You deiced that you would play on one small thought. like a Telipathic parasite, "
Wanda turned to Lorna and smiled. "weather he is your biological father or not dose not matter. he did not raise you and there for is not your dad. The man who did is your dad and thats what matters any man can be a father all it takes is for them to stick some thing in a place and its done its not hard. However being there for you every day of your life picking you up when you fall wiping the tears away and seeing all those first moments thats what relay matters genes mean nothing but the soul means every thing, and those can only be shaped by the people who love and care for us."

Lorna blinked in confusion as Betsy told her about “sisterhood” and how she'd only been trying to rile them up to make them feel close to each other. It made absolutely no sense whatsoever to her, though. Was that because she was an only child and had never had anyone to call a sister (or brother) before beyond her close friends? She honestly didn't know but Betsy still made her feel on edge.
She half agreed with Wanda although she didn't say anything. There really was no reason for Betsy to try to push them together like that so maybe she really was just using that reason to diffuse the situation that she had helped to create? Lorna was truly stunned by it all and licked her lips in confusion. If, and that was a huge if in her mind, she really was Magneto's daughter, wasn't it up to her and Wanda to come to some conclusion about their relationship? It wasn't the telepath's business.
She watched Betsy walk away and then shook her head, as if to clear out the cobwebs. She looked at Wanda and said, “It was a man who called himself Cable. He is the one who alluded to it, albeit quite strongly. He said I should seek Magneto out and ask him for training and pretty much told me that he's going to become important to me. I wanted to hurt him for that.” The last she admitted with a bit of a smile.
Wanda then told her what deep inside she already knew. Sitting down with a heavy sigh, she looked up toward the sky for a moment as if she was composing herself and her thoughts. “I know. Paul and Sarah have been amazing parents. They are my actual aunt and uncle,” she told Wanda, looking back at the older woman with a small smile. “It was hard to learn the truth, to know that they hid this from me for over twenty years but I think I know why they did it. They were afraid I'd leave them. How can I fault them for loving me?” she added.
She really did owe them an apology for being such a beast to them. It wasn't their fault that they'd been left with a tiny infant to care for nor was it their fault that her mom had died in the plane crash. She'd been meaning to look into the crash, to see exactly what had caused the plane to go down in the first place.
“What about you? Did you and Pietro have good parents?” she asked Wanda, truly curious. If this woman was her sister, and Pietro was her brother, she wanted to know them. Heck, this was Lorna. She'd want to know them no matter what.

"we were adopted my the Maxamoff gypsy and yes they were good people. We lived in a different world T.V was some thing we did not have. Latvia is a dark place not like Your America we do not get a vote we do not have a choice of freedom. yes Our Parents were good and did there best but i was not an easy daughter. They could not punish some one who could bend reality and trying to ground a boy who is probably the fastest man on the planet. They loved us and showed us to value the old ways and not to be afraid of new technology. Family means more back home than it dose here. Its not just your parents but the whole clan is family."

Lorna listened to Wanda talk about her parents, her family and what life had been like. She was a true blue American. She couldn't fathom life without television, electricity and computers. It had simply been a part of who she was, part of the environment that she grew up in. Would Wanda fault her for her upbringing?
“It sounds like we both got lucky, then. I would have loved to have met a couple of real gypsies. Did you move all the time? I take it that there was a caravan of families with you. How wonderful to have all those people around whenever you needed them,” she said, her eyes glowing with interest.
“It was always just my mom, dad and myself. I know of no extended family as by the time I was old enough to remember, all grandparents had passed away. My mom was Uncle Paul's only sister and my Aunt never had any siblings. Or if she did, I've never met them,” she added, pulling her legs up to hold them close to her chest.
Green eyes turned toward Wanda and she watched the woman for a short time. She was really beautiful and not so much in a modern, over makeup'd way like super models. No, Wanda was an old beauty, a rare one from what Lorna could see. She wondered if she looked like her mother as there was nothing beautiful about Magneto.
With a small sigh, she confided, “I asked Magneto to help me with my powers. He told me that unless I could trust him completely, he couldn't teach me. I walked out. Did I do the right thing, Wanda? Should I have given myself over for him to mentor me?” It had been hard to walk away that night but she really couldn't bring herself to give all control over to a man who had committed so many crimes.
