Kurt listened to her and saw her eyes well up he moved forward. "Maybe it is being afraid that is making you phaze concer you fear and you will stop" he leaned forward and held her close against him "zou are not a vall flower to me kitty you are ze best freind I have" he lend his head on her shoulder his tail snaking around the little dragon as he held both." I vish I could do vhat vou do, if zou vish i could show you some zing?" he said waiting for her to say.

She wiped at the tear on her cheek and nodded. Though, she was less eager to let him lean away from her. His body had felt nice and safe against hers. It had made her feel seen, for once.

Kitty offered a smile, "You never have to ask, Kurt, not with me. The answer is always 'yes.'"

He smiled at her and held her against him picking up the dragon with his tail. he ported to the roof topstil holding her tight against him. "zis is where i come , see there is ze town, zere the beach" he looked down at her "One more" he said and ported to a small cave all around sat cristals glowing some formed in teh shape of a cross on it. he moved from her for amoment to kneel in front of them then he moved back. "zis place, zuo are the first, even xavier dosen not know about zis , my zactuary" he said moving to a bed in one corner and siting down on it "Zis is where i come to think."

Kitty gasped at the rooftop, the beach and the town were so beautiful from such a height. But, when they teleported to the crystal cave, she nearly fainted. It was so gorgeous. The way each crystal protruded from the rock and glittered against the sea of crystals. And Kurt even had a bed in the corner of the room. It only made sense that he'd want to be here instead of the mansion. This place was amazing.

"Oh Kurt!" She spun in slow circles, gasping at the beauty of it all. Lockheed flew to the ceiling and around the pillars of crystal with gleeful noises. "Where are we?"

He saw the look on her face and smiled "ve are in ze atlas mountains, ze monastery I lived in for a while zs below us" he said taking down a Crystal he took some leather string and threaded it threw it it was in the shape of a dragon.
Standing he walked over "kitty, here " he placed it around her neck tyeing it loose, Ven you feel alone look at zis and remember zou are not, meine Kätzchen(my kitten)" he said with a smile to her "Now i zink i should get you back before Xavier has my guts vor his garters" he said moving to hold her close to him again, he could not help pause for a moment savoring the feeling of holding another life in his arms, especially hers his friend.

Teleporting back to his room he finished the last of the cola na smiled placing it in the bin.

Kitty bowed her head when her gave her the necklace and let her head tilt up again to stare into his eyes. They teleported back and she frowned when they released one another. She sat on the bed as Lockheed inspected the dragon-shaped crystal around her neck with an approving purr.

"Kurt, I came here to help you, not the other way around." She smiled and traced the tattoos on his hand. "I don't want you to feel out of place here, Kurt. I'll always be your friend, if you ever need me I'm always here."

Kurt smiled at her "Kätzchen, knowing that you are has helped, I vill come out vore, virst sviming?" he moved to a set of draws and took two sets of swim trunks out "ze blue or ze green?" he asked "but zou must svim voo " he said moving to face her "Zometimes its voing nothing that helps zee most Kätzchen" he touched her cheek gently and smiled at her "Zoo are very beautiful, do not let anybody zay different" he took a deep breath "I vish i had something to do other zan goofing off" he chuckled.

She giggled and pointed, "The green, it accents your blue." His touch to her face sent shivers down her spine and she had to turn to hide her blush. "Well, you're welcome to swim with me any time. I'm always out there when I can't think. The water calms me. Heh, I'm usually out there at midnight or so because it's always empty then."

"I'll go change into my suit and meet you at the pool okay?" She headed for the door and paused, "Oh, Kurt, what is 'Katzchen'?" She looked bewildered but a soft smile hugged her lips.

Kurt nodded at her choice and placed the blue ones back in the draw turning he head her question and moved to face her " 'Katzchen is kitten" he said slightly smiling at her "It...it is a pet name, erm a zign of affection." he said as he slightly lowered his head as if he had said something wrong to her.

"Please I mean no disrespect , if you vish me not to call zou that I vill not" he quickly said his yellow eyes looking now into hers hoping he had not just broke a trust.

Kitty's eyes grew wide. "Oh! No, no, I like it a lot, actually." She brushed a chestnut strand from her face and smiled nervously at him. Did he know she liked him? That she'd come with food to impress him and have him really look at her? Did he feel the same way? Or did he see her differently?

"I'll go change and meet you in the pool." She winked and slipped out of his room and down the hall for her room.

Kurt nodded and smiled as she left "ok Kätzchen" he said quickly geting changed he switched on his trasdusor he sat down for a moment . Did he like her more than freinds , she was beautiful, kind and she was the only one who saw threw his looks to what lay below.He though could they become an item would she.. could he or ... would she think he was taking advantage of her

The more he though the more he hoped and in his mind prayed, if she would not he had the church, if she did not then he would not look at any other. Standing he grabbed his towel nad ported out of his room his mind still reeling with the emotions he now felt.
