-Playby name( actor/actress name); Luke Guldan
-Real Name: Johnny Storm
-Code Name: The Human Torch
-Faction: Marvel Heroes
-Canon or Original; Canon
-Age: 21
-Date of Birth: March 8th
-Height: 6’2
-Weight: 240 pounds
-Physical Description:
Johnny is around 6’2 tall and around 240 pounds give or take how much he has worked out and how much he has eaten. He needs to eat a lot for his powers to give him energy and not burn the extra weight off, therefore he could be a series of different weights because of depending on how much fat he has burnt off. Johnny normally wears just a pair of t shirt and jeans which are normally washed out. He also wears a lot of sleeveless shirts in case he needs to use his fire abilities so that his fire can move freely up his arms. Johnny also has short blonde hair and blue eyes.
In his uniform it is what Johnny has described as a blue giant onesie. It covers from the bottom of his neck to the underside of his boots which he isn’t sure what it is made out of but he claims that it is comfortable, it is also flame retardant.
-Personality:
Funny: Johnny is someone that always tries to make people laugh and tries to lighten the mood. He is often able to succeed in changing an unhappy scene into a funny one by just making a joke or just acting like a child. He has always made jokes and looked to have fun often causing him to be seen as trying to disrupt or be a troublemaker however Johnny was just looking to A have a good time and B make everyone else have a good time.
Easy going: Johnny has always been a laid back and easy going guy, believing that what happens will simply happen and he does not panic over it, he tries his best not to get stressed or worried with situations which may or may not break his calm exterior. There have been certain situations where his calm easy going mind set has failed him.
Loyalty: Johnny has immense loyalty to his older sister Sue, since both of his parents were not around of most of their lives and certainly their teenage years Johnny looked to Sue as a very maternal figure in his life as well as a big sister even though there was a few years between them in age. Johnny is also loyal to other people that he has developed friendships and relationships with over the years. Also because of his loyalty to people Johnny can be seen as not thinking things through to protect people as he would rather ensure their safety and make sure that they are ok than making sure that he himself is ok.
Cocky: Johnny has always had an air of cockiness about him, being a good athlete in high school caused this, even when he went to high school as a senior he still had the same air of cockiness because his was able to do a lot with his powers and also because he was also very confident in his own abilities.
Considerate: If Johnny thinks that something he has said or done has offended someone he will apologise for it as he does not want to upset people because of what he has said or done. This is often because of a joke that he has told which has been taken the wrong way or something else that he has said. He will honestly apologise if he has offended someone or gone to far.
Kind: Johnny will look after his friends and family to the best of his ability but he is also kind to practically strangers who need him for something. He will not hesitate in pointing someone in the right direction or helping with something if they ask for his help.
Trustworthy: Johnny is someone that if you have a secret or something you need to go to someone with it can be rest assured that Johnny will help in whatever way is needed. Whether that be keeping a secret, helping them get over an addiction or just being someone for them to talk to Johnny is willing to do all of these things for people.
Brave: Johnny is also very brave, he will not consider his own safety to be more important than the general public’s or his own sisters and he has often risked his own life to benefit others.
Smart: Even though Johnny isn’t as smart as Sue he is still quite intelligent and has a knack for working with his hands especially with motorbikes. Johnny has been able to fix a number of problems with his motorbike.
-Powers:
Pyrokinesis: The Human Torch possesses the mental ability to control ambient heat energy and the physical ability to transform his entire body, or portions of his body into a fiery, plasma-like state of will. The cells of a normal human body convert energy from foodstuffs into a form of energy usable by the body, adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Among other mutagenic changes, the cosmic ray bombardment triggered a specific genetic code rearrangement that caused the Human Torch's ATP production sites to generate a new form of energy containing molecule. (Reed Richards has dubbed this molecule adenine ribo-heptaphosphene, AR-HP.) This complex molecule not only provides ordinary bodily energy but contains large stores of latent chemical-bonding energies. Another favorable mutagenic change are his cells' ability to utilize this extra energy by converting it into a moderate-density, plasma-like state that is regulated by a subconscious mental field and can be modified by an act of will. When sufficient quantities of energy are consumed, the Torch unavoidably reverts to his solid state.
Plasma Form: The Human Torch possesses the physical ability to envelop his entire body or portions of his body with fiery plasma without harm to himself. (Plasma is a super-heated stated of matter such as exists in the atmosphere of stars.) Ordinarily, when aflame, the Human Torch is enveloped by a low intensity flame of low level plasma (reddish, approximately 780 Fahrenheit), which ranges from 1 to 5 inches from his body. He can, however, generate much higher levels and flames about himself. The energy used to support his low-level plasma is small; only when the Human Torch wills his flame to a higher level does the majority of surplus energy with the AR-HP complex become involved. In its plasma state, The Torch's body is no longer solid; projectiles that are not melted pass harmlessly through his body.
Fire Manipulation: The Human Torch can generate shapes composed of fire from any point on his body. (He usually employs his hands to "sculpt" the flames.) He can form fire into long streams, spheres, or even more complex shapes like letters in skywriting. These flames-objects will only remain their shapes as long as he concentrates upon them. The objects will only burn about 3 minutes before expiring unless the Torch continues to infuse them with energy. The temperature of these fiery projections is generally around 2,800 F (near the melting point of iron).
Nova Flame: The Torch refers to his highest, hottest levels of plasma that he can create as his "nova flame." The exact temperatures that his "nova flame" can attain are not known. At an average rate of expenditure of energy, the Torch can stay aflame for about 16.8 hours. In his younger days, he could only maintain his flame for much briefer periods, and sometimes exhausted it while in combat. He cannot maintain his "nova flame" for as long a time as he can maintain his ordinary flame. The Torch can release all of his body's stored energy in one intense, omni-directional "nova-burst," which can reach about 1,000,000 F, and which is similar to the heat-pulse of a nuclear warhead detonation, with an area of total devastation of about 900 feet in diameter and the power of a super nova. (The Torch has claimed that he can destroy a small moon with his nova-flame.) This violent discharge uses his entire reserve of energy (except for the necessary to keep him alive) at once, entirely exhausting his flame power. He generally requires at least 12 hours to recover entirely from such a feat.
Flight: The Human Torch's plasma has a high hydrogen content, and is surrounded by an exuded cloud of mono-atmoic hydrogen atoms. The hot cloud provides sufficient positive buoyancy for him to float. With mental stimulation of his flame, he can provide enough lift to carry around 180 pounds. By forming a jet from his feet, directed behind him, he can achieve a normal flight speed of 140 miles per hour, and accelerate up to supersonic speeds
Thermokinesis: The Human Torch has the ability to mentally control the ambient heat energy within his immediate environment, even when he himself is not aflame. He can reduce objects' temperatures (if they are in a normal range for existing on Earth's surface) to about 30 F, raise them to several hundred degrees, or extinguish open flames. His radius of influence is about 80 feet. The heat energy he takes from the environment is absorbed into his own body. If he takes in a critical amount while he is not aflame, he will become aflame. There are unknown limits to the amount of flame he can absorb into his own body harmlessly while he is himself aflame.
Immunity to Fire & Heat: The Human Torch is unaffected by heat and flames, including his own, even when part of him is aflame and the rest of him is not. His flesh cannot be scalded or burned by any heat source whose level is below that of his maximum output.
-Weaknesses:
Energy depletion: Johnny’s mutation is based on the adenine ribo-heptaphosphene energy in his body, therefore when Johnny’s amount of adenine ribo-heptaphosphene energy that he has in his body is depleted then he will be able to do less with his powers or have less control over fire. It generally takes about 12 hours in complete fire form to deplete Johnny’s adenine ribo-heptaphosphene from his body this is because he is not using the extra energy to not do anything exerting. If he is using his fire ability to use more than just his fire form such as manipulating fire in fire form he can do it continuously for around 6 hours before he has to stop using any form of his powers.
Physical condition: If Johnny has a form of injury either physically or mentally it affects how well if can control his powers and use them. If he is ill, or tired he can only last bursts of an hour in full fire form and can only manipulate fire for a couple of minutes before he has to stop using his abilities.
Water: As to be expected water is Johnny’s main weakness as if he is in his fire form his will return to his human form. This also affects his ability to use his powers as he is not able to use his powers at all when he is wet. His ability to call on his fire abilities are negated until he is dry of all moisture on his skin and hair.
Oxygen: Another major weakness with Johnny's powers is that without oxygen around him to burn he cannot use his powers. If for example Johnny was fighting a speedster mutant or a wind mutant who was able to make a twister or something similar around Johnny to suck the oxygen out of the atmosphere they would be able weaken Johnny as he would not be able to his powers at all.
Death: Johnny in human form is just a normal human being and can be killed like any normal man. However in flame form he would have to have the flame extinguished to be shot or be hit with an object or form of blast, however he would still die if he was dropped off of a building for example.
-Skills:
Boxing - After moving to live with their aunt after their father's incarceration for murder, their aunt had Sue take up self defense to protect herself. Johnny on the other hand turned to boxing so that he could fight. This was later increased as the thing taught Johnny in hand to hand combat.
Mechanic: Johnny was interested in cars and motorbikes from a very young age, even from the little toy cars and bikes he got as a young child to the larger bikes that he now has. Johnny fixes his own bike only he does not own a mechanic shop.
Multi lingual: During his time in high school Johnny learnt a number of different languages including German, French, Italian and Irish.
Motorbike riding: Johnny has been able to ride a motorbike well since he was 16 years old and has entered a number of different motorbike events and performed some of his own stunts at little locations to earn money for himself.
-Equipment/Weaponry:
- Relatives:
Dr. Franklin Storm (Father), Mary Storm (Mother, deceased), Susan Storm
-History:
Jonathan (Johnny) Storm was born to a normal quiet family in the late 80's. His father Franklin and mother Mary had already had one child, Johnny's two year older sister Sue. Where as at a young age Sue had wanted to see how things worked and had dismantled things Johnny was more of a quiet child. He had an interest in little toy cars and motorbikes which he seemingly always played with.
When Johnny was 6 his mother died. Johnny couldn't understand what had happened to his mother, which scared him that he would never see her again. However after his mother's death Sue had grown up almost instantly into the older sister she shouldn't have had to have been until they had been at least teens. Johnny and Sue had become closer at the death of their mother, Johnny had tried harder to not anger Sue and became more playful and annoying in his teasing of his sister.
A few years later their drunk of a father was arrested for murder and sentenced. Johnny was glad to see the old man go to be fair, he however knew it would be harder for Sue, he didn't even have an idea in his head that more family would want to take them in. Once they had moved in with aunt Marygay Johnny returned to his class clown mind set, they weren't alone anymore.
As a teenage Sue got into Tae Kwon Do, given the idea by their aunt Johnny turned to boxing, his aunt didn't approve of the choice but Johnny was not deterred. However he later gave up on boxing the same year, preferring his bikes to punching people. As Johnny had gone through school he had been compared to the brilliant Sue Storm, which kind of made Johnny detest his sister's brilliance, however Johnny was smart in his own right getting good grades, just not Sue level grades.
By the time Johnny was 15, he had gotten a reputation amongst his friends as Sue's keeper, this was because she was seen as the hot nerd, Johnny on the other hand refused to allow pretty much any guy near his sister, again relating to the bond that had been formed years before.
When he was 17 though, Sue had met Reed Richards, a scientist that had lived at their aunt's home a few years before. Johnny instantly took a dislike to Reed, the protectiveness he had for Sue made it that way. Therefore when Reed asked Sue to accompany him on a science experiement Johnny jumped at the chance to go also. The trip had been a routine journey until they had been hit with a solar flare.
Once they returned to earth Johnny went back home to his aunt. It was when Johnny's powers began to manifest he presumed something was wrong with the solar flare. He had instantly got in touch with Sue and told her of his powers. Johnny was impressed and proud of his powers where as Sue had been scared of hers. Over the next four years the two Storm children had then made up half of the fantastic four with Ben Grimm who then became the thing and Reed Richards who was Mr Fantastic. Johnny has since became an ally of the X Men and is often at the school at Westchester rather than at home because of the fact he refuses to be around Sue and Reed while he follows her around like a love sick puppy.
