Carol walked into the darken, seedy place. Just what she needed after her day, one she would rather soon forget. It had been rough, and trying to get in contact with Tony Stark for an interview was proving futile. She was frustrated, grumpy, and angry to say the least. She really wanted to get that story of him and Abigail that seems to be shooting down the line. She did not want to be the last one to get the scoop…
She approached the bar, and waved at the bartender. ”Give me the strongest you’ve got, and leave the bottle.” She instructed and took in the room around her while she waited on her order to be filled. The place was extremely dark, sparsely populated, and those that where there stayed away from the others. This place was perfect for her current mood, and she returned her attention to the bartender when he placed the bottle of his strongest stuff down on the counter next to an empty glass.
Carol raised an eyebrow, and shoved the glass away. She opened the bottle, and began to drink straight from the source. When it was a fourth empty, she set it back down on the counter and just stared into the liquor as she was lost in thought. She barely heard the door open and close to the joint, much less the sounds of someone approaching her. ”Listen. Whatever it is, it will have to wait.” She stated as she took another long pull from the open bottle in front of her.

After the whole incident with Abby there seemed to be a whole bunch of new problems arising from the dark. Businesses calling to make appointments, reporters trying to get an interview. To many things happening at to much of a fast pace if anything really. But that's how his life was, always on the fast lane, and he accepted that a long time ago. However with everything there Tony wanted to get ride of the interviews first, at least he could get some work down in piece. He was looking through a list of people who wanted a interview with him. One name caught his attention, only reason because he never seen her before. With in his head he looked up her background and what she has done before. Pretty standard for the most part, and well at least she was a knew face to the already hounding media.
Tony than went to the suit case armor and activated it, after a few moments the armor covered. Jarvis than opened up a window and Tony then jetted out of the tower quickly. The on board AI than gathered the last known location of Carol and pointed out the way. With in a few short minutes Tony reached the place still in his Iron Man armor as he landed out in front. He then walked through the door and looked around and watched Carol down half a bottle. As he approached he heard what Carol had to say, it seemed she didn't know who he was. "Alright then Ms. Danvers I suppose you don't want that interview".

Carol was so lost in thought, she was still going through interview question in her mind. Even though she was slightly inebriated, she was still able to think half clearly. She decided to write them down before she would no longer be able to do so. So she reached into her purse, and pulled out a pen and notepad. She had written down maybe three questions before the person entered the bar and walked up to her. She quickly jotted down another one, and took a pull of her drink.
”Alright the Ms. Danvers I suppose you don’t want that interview”
She paused the pen above the paper as the well known male voice spoke to her. She lifted her face to stare into the mask of Iron Man, and she wondered why he wore his suit. She mentally shook her head as she thought that perhaps he was ready for trouble, especially so soon after what happened to Abigail. She let the corner of her lips pull upwards as she gestured to the seat next to her. ”Mr. Stark. Please forgive me. I was a bit…distracted.” She attempted to apologize and gestured for the bartender to come back over. ”Whiskey, right?” She asked his favorite poison so the bartender can get him one.
When he answered her, she took another pull from her bottle and ordered another one as well. Carol then looked at Stark, and took a deep breath. ”So you decide to start with me first, huh? Well what do you say that we get this out of the way and over with? And if at all possible, is it alright if I ask Abigail some questions?” She finally started to direct them to the task at hand. She had dealt with Abigail before, and knew that the girl’s mother was the one who dealt with the media. That woman decided who interviewed her daughter or not, and wondered if Mr. Stark was the same way. She also knew the girl was quite intelligent, much like her father who was before her about to answer some of her questions.

Tony looked at the reporter as she took out a notepad and a pen which she started to write down some questions he thought she had in her head. He than heard her appoligize to him, explaining she was a bit distracted with something, though he guessed what it was. She then gestured the seat next to her and asked him if he wanted some whiskey. Tony smirked and nodded a bit as he commanded the suit to turn back into it's suitcase form, in which he held it in his hand. He than sat himself next to her and grabbed the open bottle of whiskey on the bar. "Thanks for the drink, and it's no problem we all have our problems so it's alright". After he sat down and opened the bottle of whiskey, he poured himself some and started to drink a little of it.
"Yeah your a new face so I rather start with that, and a pretty face as well if I do say so myself" he told her. He looked at her for a moment when she asked about Abigail, and thought back to her condition. Tony then went back to his drink and did a quick shot of his whiskey and rubbed his eyes a bit. "No I'm sorry Ms. Danvers that can't be possible at this time, she's still not feeling quite well. And I don't need people putting pressure on her while she's trying to get better". Tony thought back again to Abby's condition and poured another glass of whiskey and drank a little bit before turning back to Carol. "So what's the questions you want to ask me Ms. Danvers?" he asked as he smirked at her.

Carol jotted down some more questions as she waited on his answers. So far she had five reasonable questions for him to answer. Two more were mostly directed at the young girl. She shrugged her shoulders when he thanked her for the drink to let him know it wasn’t a big deal. Then he told her that she was a new face, and she snorted. She was hardly new as she had already interviewed this man’s daughter, but she looked at him as she said she was pretty. ”Does he do that with all the women he meets?” She thought to herself as she watched him down two glasses of whiskey nearly one after another. She completely understood, the need to let the girl rest and recuperate. She only hoped the child didn’t turn out like she did.
”So what’s the questions you want to ask me Ms. Danvers?”
She noticed the smirk and raised an eyebrow at it. ”Well then perhaps at a later time for your daughter, when she is of course feeling better?” She asked wanting to make sure she could get an interview from both parties. She’ll just have to make a note to her readers that a follow up interview will follow from the young lady. When Tony had given her an answer, she took a pull from her open bottle again. She looked at her pad and decided on the first question that her readers may want to know first. ”Alright, Mr. Stark. I suppose we can start with how does it feel to be a father? And most importantly a father of someone who has accomplished so much in so little time and seemed to have out done even you at her age?” She asked him and hand her pen posed to jot down his answer.

This woman seemed to be dead set on trying to get a little one on one with Abigail it seemed and she wasn't going to let it go. Tony wondered if he should or not, knowing reporters they had some slick way of getting at people. And with Abby being the way she is she could torture her for any question she wanted and she couldn't stop her. Tony than looked to his whiskey and poured himself another shoot. As he downed the shoot he decided against her from talking with Abby in till he heard from her. He couldn't really control who Abby decided to talk to, but he could decide where and when she could. "I would have to speak to her about that. If she's up for it than maybe, but if not than I'm sorry to say but your not going to be able to get those interview questions done".
Than after he reply she seemed to give another, which seemed more to piss him off rather than get a couple of questions done. However it really didn't bother him much, he really didn't know Abby's life before this and to be honest he wouldn't have really cared if he didn't find out that she was his daughter. And the fact that he really didn't hear much of her while both as Tony Stark and Iron Man meant that something went wrong along the lines. However he was going to indulge Carol, twists her words around if he could. "Well to be honest being a father to an already old enough teenager isn't all to bad. And to out do me I don't know about that, if I knew her before around this time I would have given you a straight answer. However I didn't know she even existed before just a few days ago so does that answer your question"?

Carol continued to drink and attempted to get more questions formed in her mind. She did like to get a story from both sides, and Tony Stark is only one side. Abigail was of course the other side. What story is better than the world’s most eligible bachelor suddenly finding himself to be a father? And what it is like to be a public superhero with a family? So many questions, and from other interviews she had read, Mr. Stark likes to twist the reporter’s own words around in his answers. She was going to have to be careful of that. When he finally answered her first question, she merely nodded her head. Then when he began to answer her interview questions, she started to jot them down anyway. He then admitted that he didn’t know of her accomplishments, and she smirked at him. She reached into her purse and pulled out an old issue of a magazine she had published an interview with Abigail. It was one of the child’s firsts, and she was quiet proud of herself for it.
”Perhaps you should read up on your daughter, Mr. Stark. I just so happened to have one of my old interviews with her right with me. It was my first one with her…” She answered him and handed the magazine over for him to look at it. She then took a long pull of her drink, and sighed in contempt as it went down her throat. She waited until he finished looking at the mentioned article, and then added some more of her thoughts. ”Not bad is she?”

Tony watched as she jotted down his words in her little notepad, he really didn't care and went back to his drink. She than told him that he should look more into his daughter, even presenting him with one of the earlier interviews she did. Tony wondered why the hell she was carrying an old magazine with his daughters old interview with her. Did she anticipate this question, or was she just proud of it so much that she decided to keep it with her. It didn't matter now however, as he looked to the interview of her and Abigail on one of the pages. He read through it for a few moments gathering a few things here and there. And he had to admit she was good, however it was also a matter of timing when she was born. If anything he could have done more when he was a child, however the technology back than wasn't as great as it was now. And thanks because of him the technology got that far in the first place so she could even do such feats.
Putting the magazine down he heard Carol comment on how she wasn't bad, he never said she was in the first place. "No she's pretty good, glad to have her as my daughter". Again she wasn't going to bother him with all the semantics of it all. He would explain what he thought on the matter but he wasn't going to give her more ammunition to through out. Tony knew how these reporters worked and they hoped by presenting something they would get more bang for there buck. However Tony's been doing this way before they were even working in the reporting business and knew the game. So with out much he went back to his drink and downed it quickly. "Any other questions that you may have Ms. Danvers"?

Carol watched as he read through the interview, and knew he most likely thought that his daughter could do that thanks to him and his advancements in technology. She knew all about his narcissism, and she figured the best way around it was to ask her questions in such a way that they seem to be directed at him and yet to get what he thought on being a father as both, Tony Stark and Iron Man. So she just needed to stroke his ego the right way. She took another pull of her drink, and set it down before looking at him.
"Any other questions that you may have Ms. Danvers"
She smiled at him in answer to his question. ”I have plenty Mr. Stark. Many of them not pertaining to this interview…” She replied and then made it a point to look at her notepad for the next question. She really didn’t have to, but perhaps it would throw him off guard. ”Do you worry that many of your rivals will use your daughter as leverage against you? Especially your enemies as Iron Man?” She really wanted to paint a caring, loving picture of Tony Stark as a father, but he was making it rather difficult…

Tony looked at Carol as she took a pull of her drink than turned her attention back to him. He guessed what she was thinking and planned the outcomes in his head a thousand times over. He planned some of the questions she might have asked and the ones she might have been hesitant to ask. Though there wasn't much, well there wasn't much that reporters wouldn't ask. Most were the same, as long as they got there story they didn't care. Even if it ruined the persons life, which was funny seeing as most of them didn't like it when the table was turned.
During his thoughts he heard Carol's statement and raised a brow slightly to it. He wondered what she meant by that but than decided to push it in the back of his mind..for now. She than took another look at her notepad, he guessed that was some sort of mind game she was playing. He knew most reporters remember the questions they were going to ask as if there life dependent on it. She might have thought to get him to lower his guard to something though that wasn't the point now. Tony than listened to her question, again bring up Abby, but this time more of a sentimental question. "Yes and no. From what I've seen most of my 'rivals' wouldn't dare try and take a Heroes daughter away from him. And for the ones who think they can try their going to get one hell of a rude awakening from there little dream".

Carol thought on how she could word theses other questions she felt she needed to ask in a way that made her sound like she was asking about him and not his relationship with his daughter. Of course being slightly drunk didn’t help matters much, but she forced herself to do it. She had some other questions that she knew the public is dying to know, and they all involve his daughter. She knew getting some straight answers out of Tony Stark would be like pulling teeth from a feral animal, and she sighed heavily at the thought. She took another pull from her beverage, and held her pen in ready for his answer.
"Yes and no. From what I've seen most of my 'rivals' wouldn't dare try and take a Heroes daughter away from him. And for the ones who think they can try their going to get one hell of a rude awakening from there little dream"
She lifted an eyebrow, just wondering what sort of awakening he would have ready. But this is what she was looking for, concern over his daughter and her well being. However she knew that if she did ask what he would have in store, he wouldn’t answer her. He would know that she would print it in the article, so she let it drop. ”When and how did you meet the mother of your daughter? And how long did the relationship last?” She asked, not really centered the question on Abigail, but more on him. Everyone knew about Tony Stark and his way with women, and the knew about Abigail and her mysterious father. Now that Mr. Stark had officially claimed Abigail as his kid, the public is buzzing with the how questions.

Peter drove his moped through the city streets. He had lost his job for the third time in one month, and he decided to spend what was left of his money on a good night at the bar. If the pain and stress can't be treated then why not wash it away with a little alcohol. The day was a normal long day, and Pete continued to struggle financially. Pressing hard on the break, he got off his moped and walked inside. Peter was dressed in his casual suit, along with his spidey outfit under it.
As Pete walked into the bar, and noticed a familiar face from afar. Tony Stark, president of Stark Industries, and also the Ironman, was present. Pete's eyes widened at the sight of him, because he was one of his favorite inventors. He felt like he could relate to him, and he wanted to have a word. When Peter made his way a little closer, he decided not to talk to him and to just order himself drink. Why would 'THE' Tony Stark wish to talk to a mere college student. "I'll have a beer" he said as he pulled out a 5 dollar bill. The five dollars was the only amount of cash he had left from his paycheck. Grasping the beer, he immediately sipped the stale ale. Looking over at Stark, he realized he was being interviewed. "Mr. Stark, it is an honor to meet you sir... I've met a lot of inventors in my day, like Victor von Doom, and Otto Octavius... But sir you are my favorite" he spoke enthusiastically.

Tony kept thinking to himself as he usually did, kept his mind preoccupied and he could actually sit still through these interviews. But it wasn't bothering him in anyway, he loved the publicity. And unlike most public heroes he learned to keep his want to help the people, and his want to show off separate. It was something hard that most public heroes couldn't pull off, however he wanted to help the people. If he didn't he wouldn't have built the Iron Man armor, or would have used it for self-fish gain. The bad thing was that the reporters, they loved to twist wording around when dealing with the famous. They tend to try and tarnish your reputation by trying to make the story more interesting. However, he was to smart to let the reporters get the best of him, he knew inside what he wanted to do for the people of this country and around the world. And now with Abby as his daughter the reporters are going to have one hell of a field day with there questions.
After a minute he was asked a question concerning Abby's mother, and how they two met. He of course was thinking over the question along with his previous thoughts. Just because he was asked a question doesn't mean he was going to stop thinking. After a second, he honestly could say that he really didn't know her mother that well. Must have been young when he met her, that's all he could really gather from it, didn't remember the place or time. And to be honest he really even know her existence in till Abby came up so that said a lot. " I honestly can't say I remember, was to long ago and I barely remember the people I see unless that have some significant importance to me or the people around me" he told her. He thought back on his answer and didn't see anything wrong. Wasn't a clear answer but wasn't an evasive answer either.
After his answer there seemed to be a young man who tried talking to him a bit. Tony turned to the young man, "Thanks for that, it's nice to see people taking a liking to my inventions. However I apologize, but I am in the middle of an interview."

As Carol waited on his answer, she managed to empty the bottle and placed it next to her first empty one. She tapped the bar in front of her to tell the bartender to refill her order. It wasn’t long before another one was placed in front of her, and she quickly opened it. However, before Mr. Stark could answer her question a young man came into the bar, ordered a beer, and attempted to stroke her interviewee’s ego. Something that perhaps couldn’t help her with this interview. If nothing else, she was going to have to be rather blunt with what she was trying to accomplish with this interview.
”I honestly cant’ say I remember, was to long ago and I barely remember the people I see unless that have some significant importance to me or the people around me”
She sighed knowing that this was like pulling teeth, and she hated interviews that were like that. However, before she could say anything, Stark acknowledged the young man’s comment. Then he apologized for being in an interview. She jotted his previous answer down quickly, and set her pen down. She took a large drink from her bottle and set it down. That really did feel good to her. ”Mr. Stark, I am not here to destroy you by playing word games. However if you continue to give me one line answers, I maybe forced to do so. What I am trying to accomplish here, is to make you out to be the doting father of one of the smartest child prodigies of this decade.” She told him with a no-nonsense look, and then looked to the young man next to the bar with them. ”You may have your turn soon, depending on if Mr. Stark heeds my words or not.” She told the young man and returned her attention back to the playboy.
