He raised an eyebrow and turned to look at Theresa, a bit surprised, and yet also a little happy to hear someone laughing, even if he was the one she was laughing at. He had to admit with his father's return, and it turned his stomach to even think of Magneto in that way, the mood in the Mansion had been anything but festive or fun. He hated to have to share the place with him or any of the other Brotherhood members, though he did so out of respect for Xavier. He was about to tell Theresa it was alright to laugh, when in a flash of red light, he was wearing the very same sweeter her had put on Wanda, mere seconds ago. He shook his head, as Wanda warned him not to mess with her. "And this is the thanks I get for Watching over you, as Mother and Father asked me to." He rolled his eyes and palmed his face, shaking his head.
The parents he was talking about were his adoptive parents, who raised and took care of him and Wanda. He promised them, as they were being beaten to death by an angry mob, that he would always look after her, and though he knew she was quite capable of looking after herself, he still couldn't help but be over protective, towards her. He sighed, knowing he was fighting a losing fight. "I swear, what would they say, if they saw you dressed like that, Wanda? You would break poor Mother's heart."

Terry watched with definite amusement as Wanda playfully made fun of her brother. It was how siblings should be, according to her. She'd always envied those who'd had built in playmates growing up and while Tom had definitely lavished her with attention as a young girl, it still hadn't been the same. She'd had a few playmates from the village come out but rumors of the Keep being haunted had kept most of the kids away. The few nannies she'd had that had their own children kept her amused but most of the time, Tom liked to hire young, childless women to watch her. As an adult herself, she now understood why.
When Pietro went to put the sweater on his sister, she was shocked to discover that he was suddenly wearing it, not Wanda. That only made her laugh some more and she really, really couldn't help it. It was just so funny, especially the look on the man's face.
As Wanda told her that her things should be in her room, as if she'd been reading Terry's mind, no less, she smiled gratefully at her. She didn't want to be stingy but ever since she'd been taken out of Tom's custody and put into Xavier's, she'd not really had anything to call her own but a few clothes that she'd bought with some of Xavier's money. Everything else was supplied through the mansion. Although now that she was eighteen, she was going to have to see if her parents had left her with any sort of life insurance or trust funds. If not, she was going to have to get a job to help pay for her stay there.
All of that rushed through her mind at breakneck pace and she listened as Pietro brought their parents into the argument. Even she, an only child, knew that wasn't a great idea. Ready to just let the two siblings hash things out on their own, she stepped forward and wrapped her arms around Wanda in a brief hug. “Thank ye for everything, Wanda,” she said softly to the other woman before letting her go.
“Now, I should probably see who I can round up to join the party. It won't be any fun if I have to dance alone, right?” she asked with a smile, inching her way closer to the door.

wanda smiled as the woman was clearly wanted to escape. "yes then this would be a very small party and not that much fun at all. we could always send my brother he good at runninga round shouting his mouth off in fact thats all he dose. Don't worry about it as much as every one says i am not the cold bitch people think i am."
She did hope some others would turn up as she had used a lot of energy to make this happen and she did not want to of used it for nothing. she fought the urge to slap her brother when sh ebrought the parents in to the argument. instead she said nothing
