Charlie had just left Jean and Wolverine in the garage, Logan was taking her bags to her room and she decided to stop by and say hello to Bobby before retiring to her room, herself. She hadn't seen Bobby since the night Rogue took off and got captured by Magneto. She was on another mission that lasted a little while too long. She loved Bobby he was one of her best friends. She hadn't heard a lot that went on with him and Rogue besides what Pyro knew. Charlie left a little bit before Pyro made his decision to leave. She knew that although they were some kind of friends that Pyro didn't really tolerate Bobby and Rogue too well.
Pyro was definitely a guy she was attracted too and he knew it. Pyro reminded her of someone she used to know and with that guy out of the picture, she fancied Pyro. She made it to Bobby's door and stopped before knocking. She was unsure whether to enter or not. Bobby would be curious or furious, either ask her questions why she left, or be mad that she did. And she didn't want either one of those scenario's to play out.
Despite her second mind, she knocked on the door and awaited an answer. "It's me.." She said in her thick and unmistakable British accent. She waited a while but there was no answer. She opened the door and saw that no one was in the room. maybe the Rec room? Charlie thought as she turned and started walking.
She made it to the rec room and opened the glass panel door to see Bobby and John talking to each other. The conversation looked heated and she didn't know whether to run or break it up. Charlie was no coward. "Hey blokes..." Charlie said teasingly as she walked besides them "miss me?" she asked Bobby.

"And what did you do after you knocked me out? Just let me lie there?"
Bobby shook his head at the question cause he wouldnt do that to John even if they were on opposite sides. "After everything settled down, I went to where I left you and you were gone. I continued to look for you but found no trace. I figured you broke free and left." He began to grin at his remark about, if John got annoyed by him.
"So, what about Kitty? Tell me more. I want to know all the gossip, been out of the loop for a bit, you know..."
"Well,..."He began to answer this question, when they had an unexpected visitor come in, Charlie Grey. He hadn't seen her in a couple of years. He smiled brightly when he saw her. He immediately got up and gave her a hug. "Charlie, how you been, where did you run off too?"

So it really hadn't been Bobby who had brought him to safety during the battle of Alcatraz. And he knew as little as Magneto about what had happened in these crucial minutes after their duel. At least John got confirmed that Bobby could not have just let him lie there, and a slight, satisfied smile appeared on his face, while he heard the ice mutant talking. "Yeah, well, seems I have a mysterious guarding angel..." He wondered if he ever would find out what really had happened.
Curiously, Pyro was listening for more details about Kitty's love life, when suddenly the door to the rec room opened and another face from his past appeared. The british girl with the strangely manly name... Charlie. She first had left the X-Men for the Brotherhood and then had vanished shortly before the whole Alcatraz battle. Interesting to see her here now as well... And she always seemed a bit too eager to get close to him...
Well, Bobby sure seemed happy to see her again. John didn't get up. "Wow, this whole 'everybody against Apocalypse'-thing starts to turn into a real class reunion, huh?" He suddenly had the urge to smoke and because he never cared much about the rules, he took out a pack of cigarettes, grabbed one, lit it before anybody could say anything, then offered the pack to the other two.

When Charlie entered the Rec room, she didn't really have a clue as to why these two guys were hanging out. it made her very curious. "Bobby!" She said with a 'ah instead of a 'y'. He rose and hugged her and she wrapped his arms around him toom, squeezing as many memories came back to mind. The four of them just hanging out. "Bobby.." She said calmly. "You're still freezing, love...ah!" She said. Bobby's skin always felt so cold to her which was weird depsite his powers, he had a warm personality. Now Pyro was a different story. She didn't look in his direction. Wait, Bobby doesn't know? How could he not know? Charlie thought freaking out a little when he asked where she had been. Oh, I've joined the brotherhood after trying to kill the professor, Jean and Scott nothing to big, how are you? she acted out the sceneario in her head. Yeah, that wouldn't really suffice. "I've been around.." She lied and looked at Pyro, questioningly.
Pyro quite simply was an asshole, he had better not say anything to Bobby. Pyro spoke now too. "Hello to you to, Allerdyce" She said, throwing him a look. She'd always had a crush on Pyro but maybe for the wrong reason, well, no maybe. He remined her of someone she had always known. And Bobby well Bobby was the good boy. The boy-next-door that she also happened to like. Whore much? she thought to herself with a smirk. "Apoca-who? The worlds ending?" She asked. She had no idea who they were tlaking about, or what they were talking about.

Bobby let go of Charlie as she said she was freezing. He backed away with a big grin on his face. "I heard you ran off with Johnny Storm. Going out with celebrities now huh?" He laughed, looking back at John, he nodded. "Like they say difficult times bring unlikely alliances." Times where bring about the unlikeliest alliances too, new mutants appearing, old one reappearing. friendships and lost love being mended.
He was curious as to why, she wasnt with the human torch any more. "Wait why are you here and not with Johnny, Charlie." He also thought of a snide comment heading towards Pyro. "Hey John, my want to get some lessons from Johnny Storm. He can make his on heat."

Nobody seemed interested in smoking, so Pyro put his cigarettes away and enjoyed a smoke on his own while observing the pretty enthusiastic greeting between Charlie and Bobby who didn't seem to care that she was the second person in the room who had left him and changed sides. Wait a minute..., John frowned, he did know, did he?
"Bah, Johnny Storm, who cares about that wimp", Pyro said dismissively. "What would interest me more...", his eyes focused fully on Charlie now, "...where did you vanish to when it came to fight against the cure and our beloved X-Men at Alcatraz?" He blow some smoke in her direction. "Hm? Also... what on earth are you doing here if not to join the fight against Apocalypse?" She wasn't switching sides again, was she? Couldn't the girl make up her mind?
Rather relaxed, he leaned back into his chair and inhaled some smoke, curious how Charlie would react to his and Bobby's questions.

Charlie smiled back at Bobby when he released her from his arms. "I missed those arms, love...and the cold maybe just a tad, I reckon.." She said with a flirtacious wink. Gossip. Where had Bobby even gotten the thought that Charlie was with Johnny? She hadn't seen him in three years besides on TV and never even watched his films. Johnny was the first guy to break her heart. "Umm..." She started but Bobby said a quote. She smiled innocently "you have no idea..." She looked at John with a 'wtf' look. How could Bobby not know?! Then againthis was Iceman. He was probably too busy with Rogue. Bobby was also so innocent and clueless that it was so cute.
She didn't answer his other questions but thanked god, he went and asked John something. She regretted that decision immensely when she heard what he said. John was, like any other firestarter she knew, an asshole. If angered assholes tended to turn the attention off them and onto someone else. Charlie wasn't the type to get all emotional. She hated public display of emotions. So she didn't give John a worried look but a threatening one. Even still, he spilled the beans. Despite her vice, she gasped and took a step back from Bobby. Bobby would probably be all disappointed and try to act as if he wasn't. He wouldn't understand. She looked at Pyro as he blew smoke in her direction. "You bloody bastard!" She said to him. She looked at his cigarette and aimed to make it explode.
She turned back to Bobby with a rationalizing smile. "Bobby, love.." She said extending her hand to take his. "It's a long story but I wasn't with Johnny. I was with John and the Brotherhood. But" She looked at John. "I came back to join the X-Men again. I'm sorry I never said anything. A lot of stuff happened and I had to leave, I hope you understand." She told him sympathetically.

Bobby was taken aback about what he heard. He could never imagine Charlie having joined the Brotherhood. He just stared at her, and then looked to John. "Why didn't you ever tell me about this? I know we didn't leave on good terms after you left, but that would have been something good to know." Looking back at Charlie, he kind of gives her a stern look. "What made you go to them? Did he also offer you freedom in the use of your powers?"

Pyro gave them an irritated look. Charlie missed Bobby's arms? And what about all that 'love'-stuff? Had there been something going on that he hadn't been aware of? Still, if it had, it had been a considerable while ago. And obviously, meanwhile quite some things had happened that Bobby had not been aware of... How he could not, was beyond Pyro. Sometimes he wondered in what kind of a fairytale existence his former best friend lived.
Charlie wasn't exactly pleased with what he'd said and when he saw her take aim at his cigarette, he realized what she was about to do. Quickly he flicked it away, so that the small explosion evaporated into thin air without damaging anything. "Jeez, Charlie darling, you're going to damage the precious furniture...", he complained, obvious sarcasm in his voice while she started to explain things to Bobby.
So, she really was coming back to the X-Men... seriously! Pyro shook his head. And then Bobby complained that he hadn't told him anything! The fire mutant had a look of pure astonishment on his face. "Come on, Drake, we weren't exactly on speaking terms at the time. Also, she wasn't with me at the Brotherhood, we just happened to be there more or less at the same time. Can't say I was too surprised when I joined Magneto and met her there." He smirked and shot her a look. "She always was a bit of a bad seed. And just to prove my point that she can't be trusted... she's changing sides again! Wow. How long will it be this time, Charlie darling, huh? How long? Magneto will be thrilled. You know he's in the mansion, right?"
Then his eyes moved back to Bobby. "And for the record: You don't know why I left. Don't think you do. You never bothered to ask." Sure, certain freedoms with his powers had been an attraction with the Brotherhood. But that alone would not have driven him to join forces with Magneto.

Charlie turned towards Pyro when Bobby did, still giving him an evil glare. John had crossed the line and as far as Charlie was concerned he was no longer her friend. She should known that John would say something. That was just how he was. "I can't believe I ever fancied you.." Charlie told him after he spoke. She turned to Bobby and met his eyes. "He didn't offer me anything. I left because after everything that happened, I couldn't face the X-Men." She didn't want to go into the whole trying to kill the professor cause someone was pulling her strings and that was why she left. She had a hard time with that,
"It's a long story, Frosty..I'll tell you some other time.." Charlie said before looking back at Pyro. "He left because he was jealous of you guys. He's so transparent.. Little Johnny couldn't get his away so he ran away to Uncle Erik, who only pretends to care. He'd leave you in a hot second if the opportunity arose, love. You're not some hard ass, you're pathetic!" Charlie spat turning to leave the rec room.

Bobby looks between the both of them. He is confused and doesn't know how to take both of his friends being back. John, because he has to be and Charlie cause she wants to be. He didn't know why Charlie went to the Brotherhood and why no one told him. John, he still didn't know how to feel about John, having his best friend as an enemy. In the matter of minutes Bobby's world just became complicated. Plus with no Rogue, no one to turn to, he had to get away.
"Look, I need time to think. This is alot to handle right now. I'm happy to have both of you back but this is alot to take in at once. I...I got clear my head." With that he turns and goes out the room with his hands on his head. He need to go ice sliding to help think things through.

Charlie was clearly pissed off. "Awww, Charlie darling...", he said with a thick Australian accent mimicking her british one, "...you'd fuck me in a second if I'd let you, we both know that..." The fire mutant had a big smirk on his face. He then listened to the rest she had to say, nodding interestedly at her explanations why he had left for the Brotherhood. "Really, wow, ever considered a career as a counsellor for troubled kids, huh?" he asked when she turned around to leave. "Ahhh, darn, I forgot, you ran away as well. Twice!" He laughed and shook his head, watching her leave.
All this seemed to have confused Bobby mightily. He was really uncomfortable with the whole situation. "Good luck with that... 'Frosty'!" The last word he added after a pause, again imitating Charlie. He watched him walk towards the door. "And after you've cleared your head, you could tell me what exactly has been going on between you and Charlie..." Because clearly there had been something. "Then maybe I tell you what has been going on with her and the Brotherhood..."
After both were gone, Pyro leaned back and lit another cigarette. Actually, this whole being back at the mansion thing might turn out more entertaining than he had expected.
