It was a cold, yet sunny day in New York city and Ben could be seen in his all black attire walking down the street. On the side of the road next to him, a large line of snow could be seen from the blizzard that hit New York several days ago. With all of the cars passing by, the snow did have some gray and black patches. Ben came to New York in order to do some sight seeing even though he himself was born and raised in this city. One could probably say that he was a bit home sick since he hasn't been in this city for two years.
Unfortunately, almost every place in New York that Ben wanted to visited was ridiculously crowded, including the Boarders near Penn Station. Eventually, a small book store caught his eye that appeared to barely have anybody in there and went into the store.

Christene was about to get off from work. She had on her usual work uniform with a pair of simple flats. She went around the book store, restocking books and putting books back in their proper place. It was a slow day. Not very many people were stopping by the bookstore, which was a relief for her.
She stopped by a book shelf. She palmed the books in each hand, feeling the spines of them as she put them down. Books didn’t judge you; they let you experience life in new ways. She smiled to herself as she stretched her dancer’s legs to put the last book on the top of the shelf. She checked her watch again when she noticed a customer come in. The clerk at the register was occupied so she walked up to him and asked, “Could I help you with anything?” She smiled at him in a reassuring way. She learned how to act towards a client, even when she was painstakingly shy at times.

Shortly after Ben entered the building, a woman that appeared to be a few years older than him asked if there was anything she could help him with. Ben really couldn't tell what her body figure was due to her loose clothing, but there was one thing Ben had to admit, she had a very cute face. Ben took a minute to think about what he wanted to say seeing how he wanted to browse for a bit, but he really hasn't paid attention to any books that came out during the last two years, so it might be best to get someone else's opinion.
"Yeah um, I haven't been paying attention to any books that came out in the last two years, and I was wondering if you could recommend any books that I can read on my spare time?" asked Ben.

Christene looked at him, her face didn’t hide her confusion. She looked around meekly and then decided on their newest books first. She smiled, it was a smile she had practiced specifically for customers, “Uh, right this way sir,” she walked just a few short steps towards the book section. She gestured to the books, “Well these are the biographies that have come out but if you want maybe the best sellers section would be better suited for you?” He had asked the weirdest question she had ever heard in the book store before, and she had been working there for several years now. She was just glad that it wasn’t another man coming asking if they sold porn magazines. She almost shook her head at the thought. Instead she caught herself and looked at the man expectantly.
