Cable stood at the edge of the roof the wind blew his jacket the snow hut his face. it was his first real x mas ever were he was from it was a joke some thing only radicals even mentioned. he could of stopped the snow hitting him but he chose not to. It was strange feeling and now it was growing on him.
he closed his eyes and listen he could hear the joy and hope on peoples minds as loved one returned. a smile slipped on to his face because he could feel the greed in there minds. his mind drifted to his own family they were out there some were. He wondered what it would be like to have a x mas with his family. He wondered what it would be like to be apart of some thing like that. maybe if he was lucky before he died he may get a chance for one Christmas with his family but the mission came first.
He felt a pang there was some one behind him. he cursed him self for letting his mind drift for that moment. he placed his hand o his side arm. "You know its unhealthy to sneak up on armed man." he started to scan the person surface thoughts was he one of the x men? trying to track him down to get Xavier back?

Derek pondered the motives of his contacts for a while now. He was so focused on doing so that he failed to notice the sounds around him. The idea of finally being free had been infecting his mind for quite some time. No matter. Walking through the crowds of mutants he made his way passed the joyful mutant carolers and the like. He was wearing a thick black long coat over his hooded sweater and jeans making him seem bigger than he actually was. He kept his hood on to prevent any more cold air from entering his ears. To add on to that, he wore a scarf over his mouth and noise to prevent any more cold air from penetrating his face.
He made his way to where he was supposed to meet this character his contacts had told him about. By the time he got to the roof he saw a figure standing close to the ledge. Could this be the person he was supposed to meet? In any case, it was Derek’s job to start up the conversation. He then heard from the stranger. Sneaking? Well, he was intruding the strangers privacy. What worried him was the stranger was armed. What did he get himself into?
“Greetings, I was told that this place is a nice place to have a view of the area. Care if I join you?” he replied back still being cautious to the stranger. He walked up to the stranger slowly. Derek didn’t want to take of his scarf or hood just yet. He preferred to keep his identity a secret for the time being until he knew more about this character before him.

cable laughed he was edge his plan was taking up everything he had forget why he was here. the truth was he was hunting down people who would be key in the fight but they were dragged in to late and were not ready for the fight. he had spent weeks tracking some of them down. His files showed that some people who could turn the tide were here now but died to soon to make that difference.
cable shrugged and gestured to the man to steep up. "tell me what brings you here at this time of year Mr Nakamura?" he smiled he could play games and mess with the man but it was Christmas after all

Derek was surprised at first that the stranger knew his name. Not many take notice of him back at the mansion. Then again, he never really met this stranger to begin with. All Derek knew was that he was instructed to meet up and supposedly assassinate the strange. But, Derek was no killer. He wanted to know why he was asked to kill him before actually carrying out the task if he was going to that is. “Oh, well I tend to head out here to rest up. Don’t ask why, let’s leave it as mutant powers stuff,” Derek said walking closing into the light. Technically speaking he was telling the truth. He would go out to District X to rest up a bit. Here is the only place he could sleep because if he slept at the mansion there could be dire ramifications. But, he was also lying because that wasn’t the real reason why he was here.
The more he thought about what was going on the more he wondered why “they” contacted him. Anyway, he figured it was best not to pondering such a thing right now and stick to the task at hand. “Enough about me, the real question is why are you out here on Christmas?”

cable smiled the ironic thing was he had payed for this kid to try and kill him. of course he had to hand it to him he thought it would of taken a lot longer for him to track him down. he smiled as he sat down on the edge of the roof. "I could ask you the same thing. one roof is as good as another for waiting for some one to try and kill me." he smiled it would be interesting to see how he responded.
"You see that flat over there? well they are worried that there child will be a mutant and they are wondering if they should get an abortion? Its a sad state of afars especially when the husband is not the father. Personally i feel that sort of thig dose not matter as long as a child is loved don't you?"

It was no question, Cable knew of Derek’s orders. Derek then smiled. “Yes, I suppose it would be a nice place to carry out an accident. But I’m assuming you know that the chances of such an accident are very slim,” he answered back. He then looked over to where the flat was. “Love isn’t always everything. But, it is what makes the impossible happen,” Derek said. He was always a skeptic of true love. But he knew that the concept behind it has caused many unexpected things to happen in the past.
“So what are you thinking about doing?” Derek responded. Cable and set up a problem. But what was his solution

" i don't believe in that sort of thing. Well the question is what are you going to do i could kill you with a thought or blow your head of before you get close enough. have you tried to kill some one who is immune to all illnesses know to man at this time?"
Truth was cable had been communized from most illnesses and if that did not work his healing factor would kick in and stop them. "now the question is are you ready to save the earth?"

“Hold your horses; I don’t plan on killing you. Besides if I was so eager to, I wouldn’t need to show myself to you. All I would need to do is walk amongst the people down there. Then again, they all would die as well and that would be a mess. You say you are immune to all diseases. Well, to be honest, the diseases under my command are not known to man. They evolve and adapt. But assassinations aside, I would like you to know I am not a threat,” Derek answered. He pulled his scarf off so he could breathe more easily. The moment he did so, the chilling winds smacked him in the face.
“In fact, I’m more interested in what you are doing here.”

"waiting for you. Now tell me how would you like to save the world?" cable walked towards him his feet never touch the floor. "your right your viruses are not known to man at the moment but i am not from this time. I am putting a team together to save humanity from its self to do those things that people know need done. so you interested becoming the hero the world needs?"

“Me being a hero?” Derek said slowly. He then shook his head. “No I am not interested in being a hero,” Derek said in an unimpressed tone. He never really likes the spot light. “However, humanity is what I worry about more. With all the threats arising, humanity will need all the help it can get.” He continued. Sure Derek would never consider himself a hero. But, he wasn’t the kind that would stand idle by while people suffer.

"good then i not barking up the wrong tree with you. we will be doing those thing no one want's to do. we will be removing risks then vanishing as if we were not there. The jobs will be dangerous and risky but they will better mankind in the long run. Its dangerous work and i need to know if you are willing to do what ever you have to, to get the mission done no mater what?"
He walked over to the man he was close and still he was ready to attack. "why did you take the job to kill me if you were not willing to?" it was an interesting question one he wanted the man to think about.

“Are you saying that humanity lacks a certain something for them to survive? That is a big accusation you have. I will not blindly follow something unless I know what the exact problem is in humanity,” Derek responded looking up to the starless night sky. The snow started to slowly drop to the ground. Derek placed his hand out to try and hold the snow falling down.
“I never took the job. In fact, I was advised to be exact. Like I said, I am no blind person who will perform an action with just cause and reason. Being told to kill a person is not something I would do. Instead, I came to investigate the matter myself.” Derek explained. He then looked back down to the where the people walked by. How small they all looked from here.
“You aren’t from around here are you?” Derek said. It was mostly a hunch because of all the times he’s been here, which was a lot; he had yet to even catch a glimpse of this stranger. He was definitely no Morlock because he visited them every so often as well.

" The world is killing its self humans and mutants fight because they want the same thing. What if one person death would save millions would you kill that person?Even if you knew a 100 would die because for your action. Look at some of the small country if they had just removed a leader here and there so many would not be dieing in a needless war. Politics holds every one back on what should be done. tell me have you ever had your hands tied from doing the right thing?
Your half right . the question is not where am i from but when. I am from the year 4010 and i know whats going to happen and i am here to change it before billions die."

“Doing the right thing? No not really. Truth be told I am not really welcomed much in the human or mutant community. Never have I really been placed in such a situation. However, I see your point. So who are you planning on taking out? If this one person is that much of an importance, how will you achieve your goal?” Derek took a deep breathe again. He was indeed tired. But, he could not let that get the best of him.
Derek was somewhat shocked that Cable was from a different time especially from a time far in the future. Then again, he was a mutant. The full extent of the mutant kind was indeed beyond Derek’s comprehension. “Interesting” was the only word he could really say.

"Its an interesting list, but its more than just killing people its removing tech that starts a war. I been hitting drug dealers and crime bosses at the moment people who when they are gone will leave a large cap in the criminal world. now there is a power struggle and well i making hard for any one to take his place. That is nether here nor there in the big scream its just making the streets a little bit safer.
The xmen are the biggest problem at the moment. They are key to change the way the world looks at us mutants and they are siting on there rears playing at school. we need to shake them up get them doing what they must do and that is be a team dealing with mutant problems."
