"there is a couple one of which is Logan's Daughter Faith i think you could be good for each other. She is like her father but i hold out hope that we can stop her from falling to far and having a real life. The other is a young man called max like you his powers have pushed him out of the world. I am worried about were this may lead. A couple of the others believe they are grater than any one else because of there powers. You will have to watch them i think they may cause you some trouble."
Xavier offered her his hand "well i am willing i trust you not to harm me. I am willing to be your test subject any time." he smiled " we may want to go to the medical bay to do this so we can record the data."

Rogue found her heart clenching as she heard about Logan's daughter... Logan's daughter. She knew Faith was probably a nice person, but Rogue couldn't help but feel replaced now she knew Logan had a real daughter. How could she compete with that? She felt as if she had lost Logan just at hearing about Faith. Her world felt a little smaller now. Rogue would help Faith as much as possible regardless though. After all, Rogue was really close to Logan - well as close as one could get to Logan. If Faith was really like Logan, then Rogue knew she'd probably be the best choice to get close to her. She gave a nod to Xavier as she then listened about a guy called Max. His power seemed intriguing since Xavier had said his power had pushed him out of the world like hers had. It would be nice to be able to relate to someone. She made a mental note to find Faith and Max. It would be good to get started on it as soon as possible. She also made a mental note to look through the student files to find the ones she hadn't seen before, and find out what rooms they are in so she could talk to them.
"Will do professor."
Rogue responded. She looked at Xavier in shock then when he offered. She knew he was serious but despite that she could barely believe it. When he mentioned the medical bay she gave a nod.
"If you're sure you wanna do that then yeah, we should go to the medical bay to do it. Ah don't wanna hurt you."

"i know you don't that's why i offered to do it. Come on then lets go." he headed towards the lift he knew that this was dangerous but the benefits were more important than the risks. "would you mind waring a psy blocker that way you will not be overloaded by my powers it can be very disorientated if you are not use to it." he went to the lift to the basement and started to walk in.
"if at any time you are not happy we can stop this Anne Marie. Don't worry about Logan having a daughter you will always have a special place in his hart weather he admits it or not. " he could tell by the look on her face that she was upset at this news.

"Sure thing professor."
Rogue knew it would be better to wear such a thing to block his powers when they went inside her. She did not want to hear everyones thoughts, and she completely believed him when he mentioned they could overwhelm her if she didn't wear such a device. Besides, she did need to focus on her own power and feeling what actually happened when it was in action. She had never thought to do that before... Mainly because it was so traumatic and on the spur of the moment that she never had time to do anything but be terrified and try to pull away so she didn't hurt those she was touching. Rogue followed the professor into the medical bay before finding a chair to sit on beside one of the hospital beds.
"Ah want to do this... Ah want to have control, and if doing this to figure out how my power really works is the only way... Then ah wanna do it... Since ah'll be focusing on my power and how it feels or works, ah want you to pull away as soon as it gets too much. Ah couldn't bare it if ah hurt you professor."
Rogue told him, hoping to god she didn't hurt the professor. She looked at her lap before looking back at the professor as he mentioned she would always have a place in Logan's heart.
"Thankyou professor."
She spoke softly, sending him a warm smile before taking off one of her gloves. rogue quietly held out her bare hand towards Xavier.

"Anne Marie i do hope this works in some way for you." he headed in to teh med bay and then to a small safe. he opened and pulled out a small head band."Its a bit like magneto helmet but it works the other way around if that makes sense. He handed her the devices and then started to get some monitors ready. he pulled up two seats before siting down in one and attaching him self to the equipment. These will monitor all my vitals and my ability to read minds. If you could sit down and attach your self to the equipment. I can guide you threw it. Then once you are ready just remove your glove and quickly touch my hand. we start with the smallest touch and we can work up if needed."

Rogue sat beside Xavier and nodded as she listened to him speak. She took the head band and put it on. She didn't feel any different, but then again she hadn't touched Xavier yet, so Rogue knew she wouldn't feel anything. It didn't feel heavy either. She didn't feel uncomfortable with it on. Rogue wasn't sure what she had been expecting upon wearing it but it was definately a relief when it felt pretty much like any inanimate object. She quickly hitched herself up to the equipment as Xavier had done whilst she continued to listen to him talk, taking everything in. Rogue gave a brief nod, tucking some hair behind her ear before slipping the glove off the hand nearest Xavier. Rogue inhaled and exhaled a deep breath before closing her eyes. She did her best to shut out everything but what she could feel in her body and more importantly her skin. She wanted to be able to figure out badly how her ability worked. Whether it was a trigger from her skin like an animal's defense, or whether it was merely mental. Rogue had considered since the first time it had awakened had been during in a moment of emotional inbalance, that maybe it was triggered by heightened emotions. After all, that moment had been very damaging to Rogue, and since that first moment she shyed away from being touched because she was infact terrified of it. That was proven when she took the cure as soon as she heard about it even though her powers came back anyway.
Maybe today she'd finally figure out something concrete about her ability.
Keeping her eyes closed Rogue moved her bare hand over to touch Xavier's hand. She felt the pull as soon as her fingertip brushed his hand. She felt like there was an energy pulsing through her skin to the point of her skin that was touching Xavier. She took the hand away, since she didn't want to hurt Xavier, and did her best to focus on what she felt. She was silent for a moment before she opened her eyes.
"Ah felt this pull... Like energy tingling all over meh skin, and it felt like it was shooting through my skin towards the point of my skin that was touching yours. Like it knew that was where it had to be... ya know, for my ability to work."
Rogue knew she probably could have figured out more if she hadn't been so terrified whilst touching him. Her heart had been hammering like a jack hammer. She hated hurting people, and she hated that she had no control to stop it happening.

Xavier felt dizzy as she touched him it was an interesting sensation. for a moment his world went quiet. lucky his powers come back. it was like losing the use of his legs a strange sensation indeed. his mouth was dry from the sensation. "how are you holding up did you manage to get many of my memories during the test?"
It was interesting "yes i felt tired and drained as if i had been up for a lot longer than i have been. It will be interesting to see how the readings look." he did hope that all these test would do some thing to help her.

"Ah remember the last years worth of your memories..."
Rogue said as she closed her eyes, focusing on keeping Xavier's psyche within her mind seperate from her. Otherwise she'd end up loosing control over to the psyche of Xavier she now had in her head. She couldn't tell if she had his powers due to the device on her head, but she knew she probably did. She could 'taste' some of his personality traits as well. It was definately interesting. What did surprise her though was the sensation she felt after the touch ended.
"When ah stopped touching you... It was like the energy disappeared. Like... it switched off... Its odd. Ah feel normal right now, without any contact... Ah never noticed that before."
She realised. It was only when she touched the power 'turned on' so to speak. Which meant it was off when she wasn't touching someone. Did that mean she could eventually turn off her power when touching? She hoped it did. Rogue nodded as Xavier mentioned the readings.
"Yeah, ah hope the readings say something more..."

Xavier slowly stood up and looked at the readings of rouge then of him self. "it looks like a form of osmosis. Its not physic as my defenses would of blocked some of the memories. now it seams that your own brain fire more as you touched me its like your mind was creating space for the memories you took. That makes it easier for us to wipe memories if we need to.
Your body's electrical energy fires just before the touch. I don't know yet how we can stop your absorption of power but the data looks hopeful that we can find away to control your power. The most interesting part is you brain activity."

Osmosis. Her brain makes space for the memories she absorbs. The personalities too and mutant abilities probably. Rogue thought of it like making a new room for each individual she absorbed. Interesting. Then something occured to her and she turned to the professor.
"If meh brain makes room for each person ah absorb... then that means it stays there, right? It never goes away... Does that mean since each individual stays there... Their memories, bits of their personality, and mutant ability... They'll be there too... Does that mean eventually ah can use each ability ah've ever absorbed at will?"
Rogue asked, shocked if this discovery was possible. It was unbelieveable. The thought of being able to store each individual long term, as her brain results is suggesting... Who knows how many individuals she could store... She could be... powerful. Now that was scary. Rogue was a good girl. Humble. Her power had already attracted the attention of Magneto and he thought her ability to absorb each person only worked temporarily. If he or anyone else found out she kept it all permenantly... People would definately want to use her. The thought of being as powerful as Xavier or Magneto... That terrified her, and yet the evidence was right there. Her brain made room for each new individual she absorbed. They were all still there inside her head. Rogue wasn't sure if she should be happy she technically had an offensive ability like others of the Xmen or terrified of it.
"Wow..."
Rogue breathed before snapping out of her thoughts to look over at Xavier.
"What is interesting about meh brain activity?"

"I do not know. It is possible Anne Marie It flairs most people use only a small part of there brain but when you use your power the activity in your brain flares up. It dose seam like the key to your power is located in your mind more than any part. It is a strange power it links physical and mental." he looked at the data again. "the data is very basic but we can work on it there will be more tests in the future but this is a start." he hoped he could remove her prison, so that she could live a normally life.

Mental and physical. Like the nervous system she supposed. Maybe even like electrical wires and a light switch. She was hoping for the latter. Rogue did find it interesting her brain seemed to use more of it then any other human. Rogue never felt like she used more of her brain but then again it did make sense with all the psyches in her mind. She had to have a hell of a lot of brain power to not only seperate them, but keep them stored in the back of her mind so that she could be herself but there for access if or when she needed it. Well, that, and when she had training to be able to access it. Rogue for the first time in her life was excited about tests.
"When can we do more tests? Ahm willing to do any kind of test you think is needed. Ah really wanna know more about it... me..."
For the first time ever since she had her ability flare up for the first time, Rogue felt hope.

"Go rest i will look over this with hank and some others and we will see. Hopefully once we have gone over all the data we will know the best way to go with this i do have faith that we will crack this Anne Marie and then you can start living your life the way you deserve." if he could help her he could help any one and her ability could help others this method may even help others with there problematic powers.
"i Think we will try a C.T scan of your brain. skin samples and blood make up may give us some clues. if we work out the how you do what you do we can work out most of it." he would talk with Reed if any one could get it he could. hank would have some ideas he may even ask cable if he knew of anything about this.

"Okay. Well can we do the CT, skin and blood samples now? We're already here in the medical bay..."
Rogue asked. She couldn't help but be excited. They knew a little bit about her power. They could maybe find out more. This was the most positive thing she had ever experienced or heard. She felt like a lot of weight had been lifted off her shoulders just by this small session. She wasn't too fond of having a bit of her skin sliced off but she was willing to do anything to find out more about her ability. She didn't care how many tests she had to run or how many people she had to talk to that Xavier knew. She would do anything. Rogue soon realised she was still hooked up to all the machines so she slowly began disconnecting herself from it. She then took off the head device tentatively. Suddenly she became overwhelmed with thoughts so she quickly put the head band back on. Silence. Perhaps she'd keep it on for a little while until the ability goes to the back of her mind like all the others had done.

"No the c.t machine is broken hank has been playing with it trying to improve it and its these improvements that we will be using as for the skin and blood samples i would like to look over this data first that way i will know what i should be looking for in the samples. Personally i do not want to take more than one skin sample if i can avoid it. "
He knew how painful i skin sample could be if you had to have more than one but she was so keen for all this. she was screaming for this to be sorted she needed a normal life before it became to much for her. Xavier closed his eyes and his face went pale. "some thing is happening in central park. Max one of the students are there and he is panicking." he placed his hand on his temple and focused. he had to work harder Rouge drain was fading but was still taking its toll. Derek was there two.
This could be a lot of trouble "we need to get to the park quickly. I will wake the other this could turn in to a witch hunt if we cant stop it quickly enough." Xavier moved to the door quickly closed he thought who should he take on this mission it was tough one. x men meet me at the hanger. he sent the message to the older men and women of the team as this was going to be a challenge. he hatted to say it but Wanda, Logan and a few others would be needed. "come on rouge i will need you for this."
