Shana took a deep breath in,her hands folding themselves over the small book in her lap. The scent of the sakura trees not far from her position soothed her mind. She was seated on bench in front of the small koi pond.
Ever since arriving at the school the ex crime lord had been in turmoil. Dealing with the children of the school kept reminding her of her time with her husband,and their dreams.
"Ah Fai Po."She whispered his name into the air,letting it linger. There had been a time not long ago where she couldn't say his name without pain."You would've loved it here watashi no otto"

Ryan was bored, he was new to the school and already he didn’t like it but at the same time he knew that he would have to deal with it and move on, he knew at the same time he couldn’t go around causing too many problems for himself in the school because of the fact that if he did then he could end up without the brotherhood supporting him and then he would either end up in prison or he would have to be at this school and it was not something that he had wanted to do.
Walking around the school he had to admit that he didn’t know if the brotherhood had deliberately separated from each other and that they had split into other groups, in his own opinion anyway he hadn’t really thought of why the brotherhood had separated to be friends with other mutants. Walking into the Japanese garden he noticed that there was another person there.
“Hey.” He said “I am not disturbing you am I?”

Pulled from her memories Shana looked up at the newest addition to the scene. Ah,one of the Brotherhood. She would admit that since coming to the school she didn't spend as much time within her own group,often times being alone.
"Of course not Riptide"She said softly,smiling to the younger mutant. Pulling her long skirt closer to herself she motioned to the free space on the bench"Merely remembering"
As she spoke Shana closed the book in her hands,setting it next to her feet before refolding her hands in her lap.

Ryan nodded when Shania said that she was fine with him joining her, he hadn’t been intending to interrupt her but at the same time the fact that she had not been bothered that he had been looking for somewhere to go it was not surrounded by the x men and having those kids around him as they did tend to annoy him most of the time, even though he was only 20 himself but he had been much more mature than many kids than by the age that he had been in his teens.
Sitting next to her he smiled “what are you reminiscing about?” he asked.

Shana smiled softly,her eyes misting over as she thought back to where her mind had wandered."Mostly about my old home,when I was a child. The sakura trees have ways of dragging out memeories"
Her hands drifted over reach other,one finger rubbing the spot where her wedding ring used to sit. "Just now I was remembering my late husband. Fai Po would've loved being here."

Ryan felt bad when the woman spoke of her husband because of the fact that even though she had been thinking about him there was a difference between thinking about someone and then talking about them. He bet that even though she would not have said so that she could have done without having to speak about him. “Reminiscing is good,” he said as he ran his hand through his dark hair “but you have to remember that the past is just that Shania, you cannot let yourself worry or get caught up about such things as the past because then the future passes you by and you realise you have lost so much time thinking about what had happened you lost what could have been. I am sure your husband wouldn’t want that for you.”
