Kurt ported to his room dressing in a warm jumper and scarf he ported down to the gardens with a brief stop in the kitchen for the basket . Moving around he found what he was looking for the perfect red rose , well to him it was. He saw some sheers and snipped it off. Wrapping it in a hanky he placed it in the basket on top of the food then with a deep unsure sigh he ported to where she had shown him to meet up. He appeared behind her and moved to touch her shoulder lightly. " Hi" he said his voice sounding as soft and relaxed as he felt with her.
Setting down the basket he took out the blanket placing it flat on the ground though cold it was not that windy. He offered his hand to her and let her sit first before he did looking out over the ocean in front of him " it is beautiful here " he said glancing at her as he did. After a moment he took a chance reaching into the basket he took out the flower and held it for a moment before holding it out to her. " I.. I got you zis Illyana" he said and showed her the rose he hoped she would like it and not throw it back at him.
