Every broken enemy will know That their opponent had to be invincible~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Faith entered the cage, her jeans ripped at the knees and her tank top tucked in them, her combat boots laced up and tied tightly to prepare for the fights ahead of her. She sauntered over to the far corner as the master of the ring announced her entrance, ”In this corner, weighing in at 230 lbs. we have a first time contender, Lycan.” She heard the crowd boo her efforts, and she shrugged her shoulders before rolling her head on her neck. She didn’t care what they thought of her, but she was only there for one thing and one thing only.
Being trained to get anything she needed, she knew the right places to look for information on anything. She needed a way to get some cash, and unlike her father she really didn’t have any other skills besides fighting and tracking. So being a mechanic wasn’t among her job skills. So she had heard rumors of underground cage fights in the city, and that the winners were paid good money for their victories. It was perfect for her. She only hoped that she would be able to hold back the instinct to kill when she thought she would be victorious, and what better way to find out other than trying it herself?
Faith stood off to the side of the cage, ready for a fight when her opponent entered. She eyed him seriously, and then shrugged her shoulders again. The same person who announced her entrance did his. This guy was massively huge, like he was a body builder or something, and she knew she would have no problem defeating him. Hell, she had been up against meaner looking opponents back at the lab. So this guy would be no sweat. When the master of the cage had announced that the fight started now, her opponent charged her and took a swing at the side of her head. She of coursed quickly ducked the oversized fist, and came up throwing a punch at his abs as hard as she could. She allowed the weight of her adamantium skeleton follow through to give it one heck of a ‘kick‘. When he didn’t budge, she looked up to him to see him laugh at her effort.
Oh shit… She thought to herself as he lifted both of his hands above his head, clasped together. She knew if she wasn’t careful, this guy could truly hurt her and then where would she be? She waited until he started to bring his down, before stepping out of the way. She waited until they hit the ground where she stood moments earlier, and then gave him two jabs to the face, one with each fist, before lifting up her knee to connect with his jaw. His head jerked up, and he staggered for a moment before glaring at her. She smirked at him and she watched as he threw another punch at her, in anger. This guy doesn't seem used to getting hit in his fights, but there was a first time for everything.
His fist connected with her back where she turned to move, and it felt like he was trying to aim for her kidneys. She growled in warning at him, her instincts were telling her to extend her claws and dice him into tiny pieces. However, she kept that feral side of her at bay…for now. She turned around letting her animal in her eyes that usually scared the other weapons she was pitted up against for tests and other uses back at the facility, and grinned that grin to go with it. Anyone who knew her, would say she had just lost all mercy in her mind, and whoever was against her was about to suffer dearly. Her reaction to being hit in the kidneys like that was to jump up high in the air, and give her opponent a roundhouse kick to the head. She had put enough force behind it to send a redwood tree to the ground, and she knew that this guy was going to fall.
Faith landed lightly with grace, as was her style, just in time to see her opponent stagger around for a bit and then fall like a cut tree. He even made the same sound when landing, and the crowd stayed silent for a brief moment before cheering. She smirked to herself, as it seemed she was their new favorite contestant. The cage master announced her as the winner, and held her hand up in the air while the crowd went wild. Her eyes took in the crowd surrounding her, and she paused as she thought she saw someone familiar among them…

cable stood in the crowd the girl was good he had to say that maybe even better than her dad. The problem was she was young. She had done will in the training class. He had come here for another reason. This was a bonus that he could use. Every one in the building saw him with out the metal and glowing arm. he was dressed in jeans and a vest like top. a few scars crossed his body. He did not see the point in hiding them.
His mind was not fully there he was working some thing out with his staff, talking with a man in Canada and also listening in to a meeting of the chefs of states all at the same time. It sounded like things were heating up and he was going to have to make a few more moves than he had hoped. He watched her moves every blow was placed just right clearly the man could brawl but faith could fight.
He was impressed she did little damage to the man she could of killed him and she had stopped it gave him faith that she could be more than a mindless killer. It looked like she was proving him right in his ideas of her. If he could pull this off it would tip the balance towards his ultimate goal and show that any one could be saved.
HE nodded to faith as she won it was good. The announcer started to speak and said it would be time for an old favorite. A man who had an unbeaten record and holding the record of the fastest K.O. The man known as Nathan summers. Cable stood up and tehre was cheering as he strolled towards the cage. he claimed in knowing faith knew who he was. "so you staying or fighting?"
He smiled it was clear they were both sizing each other up. He looked at her working the best way to take her down. HE had fought tougher and more powerful than her she could hurt him but she was out of his league. HE taken down Apocalypse and killed him. smashed the silver surfer board feats that few could say they had done. His shields would stop most of the damage from getting threw but he also knew how to fight he knew forms of combat that had not even been invented yet. It would be interesting to see.
How good were he mental defenses he wondered. he could push in deep with a fight but that would not be fair he could read her thoughts know her moves before she even knew what she was going to do. He taken her father in a fight but that was another time and place. Logan had changed a lot since then. He had to remember that she was not her Father and was a different person all together.

Every broken enemy will know That their opponent had to be invincible~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Faith couldn’t believe what her eyes were telling her. Cable. The hardass instructor from the school was stepping into the cage. She knew that he knew what she could do, just like she knew what he could do. She was clearly not going to survive long in a direct fight with him. He could throw her across the cage with a thought, or take her out with one. She had no clue how she could get close to him in order to strike, and she was certain that he would stay undefeated. She closed her eyes briefly saying goodbye to her winnings and spending money. For there was no way she was walking out of here on her own accord.
She knew he was a telepath, so there was one way she knew she could make sure she had an upper hand in the fight. She wasn’t very good at it, but she was going to have to get better and fast. She has fought telepaths before, and if there was one trick she had learned she learned it quickly. Her senses tingling, and her gut telling her she was going to get her rear end handed to her on a silver platter. She suddenly wished she had other useful skills beside tracking, hunting, and killing. The hair on the back of her neck stood on end, telling her that she is in possible danger of getting beat to a bloody pulp.
”so you staying or fighting?”
Faith’s jaw clenched. She was raised to fight, and taught to ignore her flight responses when she thought it would have been the best chance for her survival. Right now it was telling her to extend her claws, cut through the fence like butter, and make a run for it. However, if she followed that gut wrenching reaction the crowd would most likely got into a panic and run wildly about. Something she did not want to happen, so she had to keep her blades sheathed and hoped she would be able to walk out of there on her own two feet. She of course swallowed, suddenly wishing her father were there. She knew how much he loved these events, even if it were just for some easy cash.
The young mutant growled softly, warning Cable that she isn’t going to back down easily. In her mind, he just basically challenged her and she doesn’t back down from a challenge. She was a Howlett after all. She might be one in name, but she was one in genetics. Besides she was created to be like her father. ”Think you can handle me?” She returned back, as she crossed her arms across her chest. Her eyesight didn’t waver from Cable, and she let her other senses kept track of the others around her.

"with a thought yes i could block your nerves system and cripple you form the neck down and your healing factor would have nothing to heal all it would take would be a small bubble of telekinetic energy no larger than a the tip of a pin. I could wipe your mind black make you forget how to fight i could replace all that hell you went threw with a happy normal life you could of lived with daddy for most of it. i make it so he thought you how to fight not weapon X i could make your life happy. "
He was playing mind games with her he was not using his powers there was no point and he did not see any reason to of yet. " think about i could do it all make a new life for you and get rid of the old one. you could have every thing you wanted as a child i could make it happen." he smiled it was a warm smile that some one who realy did care and it was true he could do all that and how long it lasted would be up to her mind it creating all the history was not hard to do he had the tech he could change records and all that with in moments.
he smiled " don't worry you can talk freely every here things we are beating seven kinds of crap out of each other."

Faith stood there, on edge, trying to get his angle. She listened to him speak, wondering why he wasn’t fighting her. Then he began to talk about wiping her memory clean, giving her a life not of pain and misery but one of happiness and security. She dug her hands into her pockets, and clenched the key her father had given her to his room. He knew her, and he offered her a place to escape the crowds of the school with his room key. She then looked at Cable with a steely glaze, her jaw clenched tightly. She somehow knew that he was trying to play mind games with her, and she knew better than to fall for traps like that.
”think about i could do it all make a new life for you and get rid of the old one. you could have every thing you wanted as a child i could make it happen. don't worry you can talk freely every here things we are beating seven kinds of crap out of each other."
She removed her hands out of her pockets and crossed them again. She knew if her father was presented with something similar, she knew what his response would be as well. She was her father’s daughter after all. So instead she shook her head, declining this so called offer of his. True she wished she didn’t have that life, that she wished she had one with parents that cared for her. Protected her. Taught her how to use her abilities. But the fact was that didn’t. And that is what she was used to, not some life where she was loved and cherished. A life where she was safe and protected. Granted fate dealt her a rotten hand, but it was the hand she was dealt. And she was going to make the best of what she was given.
”What is your game, Cable? From what I hear, you appear out of no where claiming that we have to be prepared for something, and then those of us that can handle it beat us to a pile of near broken meaty bones. Then you come here, step inside this cage, and offer to change my past for the better?” Faith demanded of him as she squared herself up for a confrontation. ”Sure, I’ve had a crappy life. Beaten nearly to the point of death daily. Punished harshly when I disobeyed. Thing is that it makes me who I am now. And I wouldn’t trade it for a life where I did knew my father before showing up at the mansion running from Weapon X. So beat the shit out of me already, and lets get this over with.” She added with conviction and confidence to her tone, even though she was sure she was going to regret telling him to beat her to a bloody pulp.

" Yet you and max always come back for more time after time. No i did not think you would take my offer but it will always be there for you. As for what my game is its simple i am saving the world look around at the pain and carnage that is going on and it will get worse. I know you think that it can't get worse than what weapon x did to you but trust me thats a walk in the park.
As for the offer its could happen not with tricks or drama you could get it if your willing to work for it. I know what you mean i would not trade my life for anything not my father giving me away to save my life. Being transported to the future all the pain and suffering it made me who i am today. " cable did not move a musical he just looked at her with a knowing smile on his face.

”I don’t know about Max, but I keep coming back for a couple of reasons. And if you have to ask, then you really don’t know me or my father like you said you do.” Faith shot back at him for why she kept returning for more. He did once say he had fought her father before, and if he did then he should know that even though the two of them were built as warriors they still were slightly human too. They had compassion, and other emotions besides anger and rage.
”I know what you mean i would not trade my life for anything not my father giving me away to save my life. Being transported to the future all the pain and suffering it made me who i am today."
She only looked at him, arms still crossed, not even smiling. She was more of glaring at him. ”Then why offer to take it away? Without mine I wouldn’t be effective and precise at what I do.” She responded, suddenly she was getting uncomfortable and the urge to beat something up creeping up on her.

" I think your scared, Now don't get me wrong i know your not scared to fight every musical is crying out to fight hell you fight any one no mater what they could do to you. You proven that by not backing down here but what you are scared of is a normal life being a teenage girl. so you fight you hide in your comfort zone. Your a coward your scared to be normal you have to live in the only thing your good at and thats hurting other. Your nothing like your father he has a life and friends tell me who have you got no one. "
he felt sorry for the girl more than anything the worst part of what they had done to her was the fact that she believed that it was all she was. she had to fight or be nothing as long as she did they had won. They had taken a girl and made her in to a killer. in his time there was nothing wrong with fighting every one had to or they would die but he had learnt you had to remind your self that you were human as well. Logan got it he did granted he kept the killer part of him but that was his choice he was an adult.

Faith was trying her hardest to beat back the urge to put a dent into the metal beam that was partially holding up the cage they were currently standing in. her jaw clenched in response to keep it together for the humans that had gathered around to watch the fight, the one that Cable said he was making them see. So if she let her tight control slip, and extend her claws, she supposed that they wouldn’t see them gleaming in the dim light of the arena. She opened and closed her hands, flexing them to keep herself from unsheathing her adamantium claws. She was very uncomfortable with the whole idea of someone messing with her mind, and it showed.
”I think your scared, Now don't get me wrong i know your not scared to fight every musical is crying out to fight hell you fight any one no mater what they could do to you. You proven that by not backing down here but what you are scared of is a normal life being a teenage girl. so you fight you hide in your comfort zone. Your a coward your scared to be normal you have to live in the only thing your good at and thats hurting other. Your nothing like your father he has a life and friends tell me who have you got no one.”
The young mutant’s head snapped around to look at him hard. Coward? I am no coward! She thought to herself, knowing full well that he can hear her. ”You know what Cable? Go to hell. I’m not scared of a damn thing. A normal life isn’t for me, as I am not normal!” She told him heatedly and extended her claws. ”A normal teenager doesn’t have these. A normal teenager wouldn’t have been designed with a specific mutant in mind. A normal teenager wouldn’t have grown up the way I did. A normal teenager wouldn’t have killed 188 people because it was said they needed to die. That doesn’t mean I don’t want it! And you know something? I regretted every slice of my claws into yielding flesh of those 188 people, so don’t you dare tell me what I am feeling. BECAUSE YOU DON’T KNOW! As for who I have and don’t have, how would you know? You calm to be trying to save the world, but for a person I think you are lacking some social skills just like me! Or did you not know that my father had given me a spare key to his room at the school? And least I am trying to put my past behind me. But I know it would take time for me to learn how to fit in!” She nearly said in a quiet tone that was the most upsetting for anyone to use when they were as angry as she was at that moment.
Faith balled up her fists, and with great concentration, she retracted her claws before trying to push her way past him to the gate to the cage. She was planning on walking away from him, the fight, everything. Where she would end up, she hadn’t the slightest of clue yet, but she knew she needed to be alone and blow off some steam.

"your not normal because youy cling on to what they do every time you take your claws out and stab some one. I do know me and you are more a like than you think. My father a lot like yours i have to live up to who he is and for me thats bigger than you living up to wolverines killer reputation. My father become the grates mutant of all time. he over shadows every one else and he dose so for thousands of years.
I know what its like to kill i have killed more than you unlike you it dose not end with there deaths i have the guilt as well but i know there last thoughts what they thought of just before i killed them. The men i lead to death as well every one of them died because the believed in me and then go back to base to be told you did the right thing how can any death be right.
I was born like you to kill i like you started training as soon as i could. Unlike you i was trained to kill just one man a man who is like a god. I know you can change you have proven it tonight you have not attacked me as much as you want. Have you? you shown me you are normal weather you think it or not."

"Okay now what do I do" were the thoughts running through Shiro's mind. A simple assignment or test if you prefer was why he found himself in this less than honorable location. His superiors had gotten permission from Washington for him to act as a intelligence liaison during his stay in the United States. Apparently they wanted to test his capabilities in field with a small time operation. He sister had been put in command of his actions in the States , which royally pissed him off, but considering his recent failures it was to be expected.
His orders were simple dismantle a illegal human and substance trafficking ring that uses underground fighting circuits as a shell while maintaining anonymity. So far he was making progress, having shut down the smaller rings with little to no issue. Then he decided to move on a larger ring. Just his luck that the worlds most notorious and wanted man have to be here. While understanding the great wealth of knowledge one can gain in combat from real experience he was hoping a man such as this wouldn't frequent a place so important to his personal future. Regardless when he entered the ring to combat a girl far his junior Shiro decided he should let this play out "if they keep eachother occupied then i can continue with my mission and possible they could help." shaking his head when the idea of working for cable and leaving his homeland behind Shiro decided to not be that optimistic. Shifting his focus on the man near the back of the stands next to a worn wooden door. His cover was a flamboyant and extravagant Asian buyer with to much money and a taste for the darker things in life, not easy considering his natural temperament but manageable when he thought of his weekends with his uncle. Grabbing his his bottle of Sake and swallowing the container one gulp, making sure to increase his body heat to burn off the alcohol quickly, he walked up to the man "Hey the bidding hasn't started yet, I uh, yes I supposed to be in there" pointing his had in the direction of the door, and acting his best as an incompetent foreigner outside his element. Before he could get a response boos started to fill the arena. Apparently the lack of a fight caused the audience to become unruly, soon the patrons decided to try their own had at a brawl. Unsure of what to do next Shiro closed his eyes and tried to reach a calm state and plan his next step.

Faith twirled around and faced Cable and stared at him. ”Okay, yeah sure they hurt every time I have to take them out. But I was trained to ignore it. Okay, fine. Your father will be the greatest mutant of all time. But right now, our fathers seem to be on even level. Thing it, that I know the risks if I decided to try for normal. Granted, I don’t try to know everything but what I do know is that the people that made me, gave my father and I our adamantium, will not rest until they either have him back or if not then me. ‘Cause if I slip into a comfortable routine, THEY will come knocking at the door in an effort to take me if not my father.” She told him dead seriously, and then her eyes took on a stone cold glare as her will and determination set in.
”And if that happens, I will not let them take me or my father back. They will die before laying one finger on me or my father.” She told him in her deadly tone that granted no room for argument. She will kill them if they ever got near her or her father, and she was sure that he would do the same. Or at least she hoped he would. He had to, as he trusted her enough to give her an extra key to his room. ”The only reason I haven’t attacked you, Cable is because I know that before I can even get close enough to strike you can just easily send me flying the other way. So what would be the damn point? I would only get angrier, and the angrier I get the more hostile and feral I become. And then I won’t be able to think straight.” She answered him calmly even though she wished she could just reach out and hit him upside his head just because she knew it might make her feel better.
Something felt off to her, and the hairs on her body stood on end. She turned to face the crowd, and one man stood off in the back, away from the crowd eyes closed as if trying to calm himself down. Somehow the illiusion that Cable was trying to project into their minds about them fighting had stopped, worn off, or been interfered with as they began to boo at them and start to brawl one another. Without looking toward the other and more powerful mutant with her, she said only two words that which he most likely already knew. ”Somehthin’s wrong.” And with that said, she quickly unsheathed a claw, cut the lock on the gate, and emerged from the cage. She pushed and shoved her way through the massive brawl that seemed to get larger, throwing punches when needed and shoving others effortlessly out of her way.
Faith got near the lone asain, and visibly sniffed the air. She smelled government, but not quite the one she was raised in. She remembered the scent from an assignment in Japan when she had to go and kill a government official that wanted to put into action a pilot program that would allow human and mutant children to learn in the same school and not fear one another. The people that created her, raised her, trained her couldn’t let that happen. So instead they sent her to kill the official, and she did so successfully. ”What does the Japanese government want with a lowly illegal fighting ring?” She demanded of the stranger, ready for a fight if he should perhaps attack her.

cable smiled and listened to her rant. he could feel some thing blocking his power well that was fine he just have to use more. HE closed his eyes and forced every one to stop and leave the building he planted new memories in there head on what they had been doing that had a good night but not that much action they had called it early.
" Its the human trafficking he is after is that not right Sun-fire?" Cable crossed his arms as he slowly floated out of the ring and towards them. "the only problem is you are doing more harm than good by stopping these thing. you see in five years time this very ring will start mutant fights for humans entertainment. The x men will look in to and they will find a young mutant who will do so much good for human mutant relations." he cursed him self for his ego he should not of come looking in to this now things had changed.
He wondered if that was the truth had his government sent him to look in to what cable had found so interesting that he had come to these fights. He knew every government on the planet would love a reason to land on his island and poke around at his tech. Not that he would let them he would bring it down before any one ever got that chance. "so tell us what is your goal here, " cable stretched out his arm and hos long coat floated towards him and also a couple of beers. the coat slipped on and he opened one of the beers and took a drink.

As soon as the words Japanese government left the young woman's lips Shiro's eyes shot open, turning around his right hand shot out in a swift palm strike to the solar plexus of the doorman then Shiro followed with his left, striking the muscle mans cervical vertebrae with a fluid knife hand. Regardless of the doorman's condition this operation was blown long before the girls query. Prior to her reaching him he already realized that this mission was no more than reconnaissance. Shiro needed a quick exit and she provided one, he would thank her later. Giving a quick glance at cable to check his position, he noticed him floating in his direction, this had now become serious. Tensing himself Shiro watched as the man projecting his voice to inform the young woman of his reason for being here Cable slowly approached . Now returning his attention to the young women who had questioned him Shiro leaned in close. "This operation may be salvageable, depending on your questions I will answer what I can," here Shiro pointed toward the prone form of the hired muscle and waved his hand at the mass exodus taking place behind her "It seems your sparring partner has decided to help clear the area." A small smile made it to Shiro's face, well at least exiting would be simple. Listening to the sermon that while sensible to a person from a possible future, held no meaning for one who had to live through five years of watching innocent people sold into bondage Shiro once again centered his focus. Before his new companion could take a second swig of his drink Shiro gave a halting motion with his right hand. "I'm sure you noticed that the room beyond this door is psychically shielded, preventing mental infiltration, though you technological resources may get you in it wont be any benefit for my mission." "For that sake, so the bidding can go undisturbed until I can make a better assessment we should make an exit now." Looking around the empty bar the fire wielder continued "If you would please return the patrons after we leave to prevent anymore mishaps I would be most thankful." shifting his eyes to Infrared as he takes a glance at the door Shiro quickly catalogs the amount of members in the backroom. "If you both wish to know more on what or why I'm here please follow me." Looking from the young woman and national security risk and checking for any sign of hostility Shiro gives a disarming smile.
Bowing the stout man made a casual exit moving toward the door while keeping his senses trained on the two people . Reaching outside Shiro did not look to see if his companions had kept up rather he looked up feeling his feet leave the ground. Flying to a nearby rooftop, the nuclear man once again closes his eyes after landing. Hopefully he could discuss this with little to no problems, His main goal was to pass this exercise. Keeping his identity secret and preventing information on his abilities were secondary. With cable he doubted anything would escape him, if it wasn’t already known, but with the girl he could at least prevent certain information from being exposed. Relaxing Shiro opened his eyes and turned around to face mass of heat that had entered close proximity.

Faith’s instincts were screaming at her to be careful and that there was something wrong here. Her hair continued to stand on end, and she of course was on edge. She eyed the stranger before her, her hands balled up into fists. She heard and smelled Cable’s approach more than saw it. He might have floated through the air, but her hearing had heard the air moved around him, and he gave off a very distinct scent that only those like her can pick up. ”Human trafficking? What mutant?” She asked as the powerful mutant explained as he approached them, clearly hearing everything going on around her. The heartbeats of Cable, the Japanese government agent, as well as the very few who still lingered around did not escape her. She could take them all out, save for the powerful mutant positioned behind her. She knew he had put on his coat and was now drinking a beer. She mentally rolled her eyes, somehow thinking that her father would perhaps be doing something similar, if he wasn’t faced with someone from a government agency. Domestic or foreign, it didn’t matter.
The young feral mutant watched, still on edge, as he attacked the human in a swift martial arts move. Her immediate response was to take up a defensive stance that was drilled into her since the time she had learned to walk. With her position to him, he could easily turn and attack her next, and she doubted that Cable would interfere and telekinetically throw him away. She however surprised herself that she didn’t extend her claws at the gut jerking reaction at the attack. And she thought in the back of her mind that she was indeed getting the hang of keeping a lid on her animal, but it wasn’t so focused that she did not take her attention off of the agent before her. She looked to Cable to see what he thought, and then she quickly made the decision to follow. With her agility and training, she quickly climbed the building in a record that would worry Captain America. She was standing on the roof behind the man in under a minute, ready for anything he could throw at her. ”What are you doing here?” She asked him, her tone guarded and doubtful. Her senses trained on him, and she would know if he was of course lying to her. She suddenly wished that her father was with her, but he didn't even show up like she thought he might...
