X-23 noticed his eyes glanced in the rearview mirror. True, from her position she couldn’t see much of his face, but the girl did make out his eyes. Without him acting as a common drunk and her senseless need for violence to end his life, Laura could almost detect the boy underneath his Weapon X training. Like her, they stripped him of his innocence and all they had left were pieces of a broken life. Laura looked back up to the ceiling of the car, thinking to herself what the agent had to gain. She wouldn’t blame him if they were driving to Brooklyn Bridge to dispose of her nearly lifeless body after what she tried to take from him. The Weapon almost expected him to forget any of his orders and just deal with her himself to exact his own revenge. X-23 almost preferred the later, convinced it would be better to die by the boy’s hands than to be another subject to Weapon X.
Laura turned her head to the sound of his voice. When the agent insisted they were returning to her hotel room, her first thought was curious as to how he knew about it. She also wondered what else he knew about her. After the male stole her powers, her claws and the healing factor, it was no surprise that he inherited her memories as well. Laura wasn’t too freaked out to find he took her memories and thoughts as well. Hell, it probably meant he got a good dose of her opinions on Weapon X and HYDRA. X-23 tried to push herself, but with no success, she settled with the mirror as a way to communicate with the Weapon X agent.
"I assume you have felt the hatred I feel for Weapon X." Laura replied, not much of a question as it was a fact. She needed him to know that he should reconsider his idea of helping her. As long as he was branded as a Weapon X agent, she will continue to go after him. If he decided to end her life out of a personal grudge, she wouldn’t blame him. But X-23 couldn’t end her search to destroy Weapon X just because an agent decided to grow a heart. Target X touched the hoodie he had given her to stop most of the bleeding. It wasn’t first-class medical treatment, but it was an act of kindness X-23 did not know how to respond to. Her green eyes stared at the black material, which did not manifest the blood it was soaked with, but eyed it nonetheless.
"What is your name?" She finally asked with a sense of hesitation. If she knew his name, it would be more difficult to kill him. A name with a face was like a mother with a child. You could identify them, as you identified the mother as a mother and child as a child. It was more than a title, such as a scientist or an experiment. Laura still identified herself as X-23, feeling more like a weapon than a person her mothered wished her to be. She wouldn’t look towards the mirror for confirmation he heard her question, half expecting him to ignore it. Instead, she merely looked out the window to the hotel. It was a place for the lost and condemn souls and she called it home.

"That and more" said Adam as he felt that he had a perfect understanding of the woman with all of her memories floating around through his head. He knew that she still going to kill him, but he also knew that she rarely received acts of kindness. Something he pinned his hopes on for surviving when Laura regained her powers and healed. Adam would then drive into the motel's parking lot that was filled with cars that were held up by cinder blocks instead of tires which gave him the impression that he was probably going to be taking a cab back to Xavier's school when this is all over. Especially when the cars he saw were older and crappier than the one he was driving.
As Adam pulled into a parking space, Laura asked him his name, which made Adam remain silent for a moment as he weighed his options. After thinking it over, Adam decided to tell her his name figuring that the chances of another Wolverine based clone being in the school would be slim. "My name is Adam Bishop, AKA, X-24" said Adan as he looked up at the rear view mirror to see her reaction.

Against her doubts, the agent identified himself as X-24. Or in that case, Adam Bishop. X-23 looked hard at the ceiling with no interest on pushing the matter further. She already knew he must have been a subject of Weapon X Project’s brutality and their constant obsession to obtain the perfect weapon. But as she laid there in the back seat of the car, X-23 had a bizarre encounter with the truth. To Weapon X, they were nothing but experiments. Some were more disposable than others. X-23 felt a sense of self-hatred that forced her to turn and look directly at Adam’s glance. He was making a decision for himself by helping her, despite his orders and where his loyalties should have been. Now, Laura was confronted by the fact she still saw herself as a weapon and never allowed herself once the opportunity to find her own person. The weapon continued to blame Weapon X and will always seek out to destroy them, but for once she realized she never ran away from her past as much as she tried destroying it.
Overcome with a foreign sense of identity, Laura felt lost for the first time since her mother’s death. Displeased with Adam and the troubles he caused, she struggled to push herself in the seat. After a long battle with herself, she grabbed the blood infested coat and threw it into the front, towards the agent’s direction. The experiment detested the idea of rest, but when her body screamed for it, she could do nothing else but stare pure hatred towards the X-24. Simply by latching onto the seat in front of her, Laura was able to muffle out her rare grunts of pain. A few pimps from outside were already eyeing at the car, more than likely waiting for the man and woman to leave it unattended. But Laura was more focused on the issues at hand to discern any future attacks on their stolen automobile.
"Why are you doing all of this, X-24?" X-23 coughed up bitterly as she taken a strange habit of biting her lower lip until it was numb. While the additional wound did matter, Laura didn’t want to explore a whole new realm of philosophy with Adam, but her unnatural curiosity won. He had already seen her at the worst, licking her wounds like a dog; she no longer cared if the agent reported to Weapon X about her emotional instability. And now, staring at him from the corner of her eyes between blood-matted locks, Laura despised herself at the insecurity she felt. Adam Bishop sat in the driver’s seat with no hostility and yet, X-23 hated him more.
