The feeling of her hand in his, it felt right. Even in the short moments he had it, it felt like a small eternity. The safety and comfort from the simple touch of the hand with her sent him almost through the roof. Not counting his ability to achieve such a feat, but with the simple feeling of it that resonated thanks to this contact with her soft hands, it was something else entirely. It sent a short spark, warming his heart quickly to boiling.
She wasn't like the other girls he encountered, like the ones when he was busy saving lives. They were all over him because he is a hero. Same thing he faced in his X Mansion visit, that girl was fairly...persistent. The whole time he kept thinking of MJ and different little quirks about her and things they did, just the two of them. He really didn't get what about him being in uniform meant to women that made them act in such a way. He was out of suit going for a swim and it still followed him. Sure, the attention was great since he missed out in high school, but sometimes...he didn't want to be treated like Spider-man and wanted to be Peter, to turn off sometimes.
He felt his heart skip as she called him the pet name that made him warm inside, Tiger. He smiled to her as she observed him, knowing the suspense must've been massive. Then she was speechless. "Erm...MJ?" THUD she collided with the ground, Peter's eyes shooting wide as he removed his mask and raced to her side. "Holy crap! I suited up and killed her!" he touched her cheek lightly feeling the warmth then checked her head. He slowly lifted her off the ground, in a fashion as delicate as her form, and placed her upon his bed, stroking her cheeking with care. "I'm sorry..." he apologized, feeling guilt creep up, the assumption already made that she'd hate him upon waking up.
He went toward the floor and began to pick up his clothes when he heard her stir and speak, turning quickly and rushing to her. She was a tough girl, though, he couldn't baby her...but that didn't mean he shouldn't care. He grinned, seeing she was okay. "I'd say you've got to stop passing out, but this was a first time thing, so let's not make a habit of it" he winked and moved to help her up. "Now, this time don't faint, but I really am Spider-man...and when you're feeling well I'd like to show you" he looked to the window, the night sky full now, feeling ready to show her everything, completely let her into his life, the only secret he held from her now open.

Mary Jane soon realized she was still in Peter’s room, …on his bed,…and he was Spiderman. Mary Jane had had quite the shocks today. The vision of her ‘dream’ came back to her, there was something about it, something familiar, like déjà vu. Next time she was at the mansion she would talk to Xavier he might help her out. She smiled at his teasing her, “Yeah, that is a habit I would rather not take up. It would put quite the dent in my schedule and studies.” Mary Jane allowed him to help her up. To see his face in the costume, behind the mask, it was unreal. But then a lot of things made sense. He did get awful bruises randomly, and he wasn’t that clumsy. And there were other things too she supposed that made sense. “Okay, well before we decide to scare me some more, mind answering a few questions.” MJ was a little surprised at herself for taking everything so lightly. But then she trusted Peter, more than most people. More than any guy she ever encountered in her life. So if he said he was Spiderman, he was. He didn’t lie to her not normally, so she was happy he told her this. “How did you become Spiderman?” She was dying to know. After all she did have a crush on Spiderman…who turned out to be Peter Parker. Okay well she was going to have to figure out that part after this was all said and done.

Peter smirked at her response, paying the attention to her schedule more than health, as usual. She was so driven, it was one of her most endearing qualities. He helped her up as she accepted his offer to do so, she was examining him facially leading him to grow rather nervous. It was almost like she was figuring things out, putting ends together. The cogs all fit now and the wheels were turning. He bit his lip as she took his idea as scary, fearing it'd go such a way, then she asked about questioning him a little. Naturally, he nodded, feeling that she earned many an answer for all of this. Then, the question that he knew would take time to answer was asked. He released a slow breath before smiling to her. "Alright...you remember the high school field trip? Where Gwen, Harry, and I were at the science exhibit? You were there I think, it was back when y'know...I was with the nerds and you were with the popular people, anyway. We were taking pictures and checking things out when one of the spiders, I don't know where from but it was a genetics lab, bit me..." he continued to explain the story in detail, touching on Uncle Ben, Green Goblin, the encounters with other heroes and saving them, the time that he saved her in the alley from muggers, everything. He touched on all the subjects he could. He released a breath afterward, feeling so relieved to have actually talk to somebody about it all, more than that with MJ. "I kept it secret to keep you from harm...if they found out they'd hurt you, if they did and it was my fault...hell if they did at all I'm not sure how I'd handle it" he stated against himself then shrugged. "If you want nothing to do with me, I understand. Friends shouldn't keep secrets like that from one another...no excuse, even for your safety, is good enough" he went over to pick up his mask, thinking differently on things now as he opened the window. In this moment figuring he may have just ruined her life.

MJ thought back to the field trip he was talking about. It was a simple day really the only thing she remembered mostly about that trip was laughing at jokes that weren't funny and wearing clothes that made her look like everyone else around her. She mentally rolled her eyes at herself. She nodded to show that she remembered.
MJ sat on his bed and listened, really listened to him. She felt sad that he had to go through everything alone. It wasn't fair. Then again she did feel a pang of hurt that he hadn't told her about it but she also understood why, he was a hero. That thought kept repeating itself over and over again. She almost shook her head to make it stop. She looked up at him silent, it was funny how protective he was over her. Something she didn't experience all the time, not a single person she knew talked about her like Peter tended to. Not even any of her old boyfriends. She felt herself almost blush again. Especially when she remembered that she did kiss him in the alley that time.
MJ stood up and looked at him in a huffy manner, "Peter Parker, if you think that i am as shallow as i sometimes appear maybe i should remove you from my friend's list? And you even saved my life, that would be the bitchest thing i could think of." She walked over to the window too, "So where we going?" She winked at him, as long as it was Peter she was fine, she trusted him. And it meant a lot that he chose to trust her too. "If you can face it, I can too. Besides, I'm much better at multitasking than you."

Back then Peter fit the bill of 'nerd' much bigger than he did presently. His thick glasses, messy hair, shivering physique. He was an absolute dork, but he had a sense of justice that stayed deep in his heart. No matter what Flash Thompson could do, Peter never gave up thinking that justice was in the world. When MJ confirmed the memory he thought of himself back then, thought of how foolish he seemed...she must've really thought he went south. But luckily the Spider-man ordeal came up. For some reason ever since they had regrown closer despite the popularity difference. Their homes and backyards were neutral territory from the high school drama and cliques.
The kiss wasn't the first trigger back into his mind, not mentioning that when it happened it was the happiest moment of his life. The rain and feeling of her lips upon his in the rain. The softness that sent his heart all aflutter, mesmerizing and sweet. She listened intently to him, catching his words and making him feel that he was comfortable enough to tell it all. From Kraven to Green Goblin. From Shocker to Scorpion. He revealed it all to her, even Norman Osborn being the Green Goblin. It was a heartbreaking loss, he bit his lip as he finished all he had to say. "Promise me you won't tell Harry? No matter what?" he asked, pleading in his eyes at the vulnerable memory.
MJ started going down her enforcement road, where her word was absolute law. Quickly Peter turned and started to shake his head, what was he thinking? He should've know MJ, the girl whose personality was as fiery as her hair, wouldn't stand for him beating himself up. "Uh, right. Sorry. I dunno what I was thinking. " he looked over to her as she steeped next to him, a little concern in his tone as he spoke. "We? MJ, you just passed out...you might not be able to handle it. I was just gonna go for a swing around, maybe stop by Shea Stadium" he trailed off a bit looking out the window, the freedom of his powers and adventure he could find were always appealing. He smiled as she spoke lastly. "I'll say, you weren't too handsy nor did you use too much tongue in the kiss" he joked as he pulled his mask on and locked the window open, slowly hopping out and offering his hand to her. "Just hold on to me and It'll be alright. I'll never let you fall, and if anything happens I'll catch you, I always will"

“Harry? If you don’t want to tell him than I won’t,” she was just happy that he had told her. It wasn’t her secret to tell after all. Now that he told her everything, she knew how serious it was for no one to find out. If they knew who Peter was they’d immediately go after his closest friends- if they knew who he was or not. It was better that he told her, she’d be able to handle the situation if that happened.
“I’m fine, really. I’m pretty much wide awake right now. But if you want I guess I could stay here. By myself. Alone. And study.” She looked up at him with a pouty look on her face. She grinned when it seemed like he’d let her go too. Her grin was soon wiped off her face and replaced with a look of slight shock and a deep blush. “Peter!” She stood there with her mouth a gap, which she quickly shut. She swatted at his arm, “I cannot believe you just said that!” Her blush receded and she resolved to just smile.
She thought back to her “dream”, now that half of it was true, she had a sinking feeling that most of was true too, or would be. She didn’t want to solidly say she had a gift or a mutant ability or something if anything it was odd. And she’d label it as that for now.
The whole scene was almost straight from Aladdin; she thought for sure he was going to ask her if she trusted him. There he went again; talking to her like she was the most important thing to have walked on the earth. She nodded and grabbed his hand, “I’ll hold you to that.” She smiled not really knowing what exactly she was jumping in to.
