They where after her she couldn't let them catch her. Tears ran down Sara's green skin. She didn't even try to hide the way she truly looked. All she knew was that she had to keep running until she couldn't run no more. If the humans caught her who knew what they would do to her. Stumbling and getting back up she continued running. By now her bare legs and arms where covered in dirt, cuts and scrapes from all the times she fell and got back up. She could hear the voices of those who chased her. See Central Park she ran in hearing the screams of people as they hurried to get out of her way.
Sara quickly headed for the trees. if she was lucky she could hide in there and the friends of humanity members would loose her. If they caught her now she knew they would kill her. Weaving back and forth in the woods of central park she could hear the voices falling back. They where loosing her. But she continued to run until she fell to the ground gasping for breath. near here was a huge tree. In the roots it created a hallow nest where she would be hidden. She crawled in there and curled up into a ball and covered her mouth with her hand to smother her cry's.

Gabrielle after having gone to the mall to buy food for the kids, she went to visit Central Park. By years she had visited that park and she would not loose the opportunity now that was in town. Gabrielle sat on a comfortable wooden bench in front of the fountain , even she could feel a few drops falling on the face of water, was somewhat refreshing. She turned away the long, gray hair. She took a cigarette and lit it quickly. to turn off the anxiety she had to smoke. In Westchester could not smoke, Xavier introduce stricter orders, but the cigar fell from his lips when she saw a girl running scared she fled from a mob of humans that they wanted to catch her and they had been the cause of the girl was wound. The Humans had lost the girl when Gabrielle had gotten up angry and confronted them. Gabrielle did not use violence, did not use her magnetic powers that were violent and a bit unstable if she used telepathy. She controlled the minds of all humans and stop with the mind, control the minds of all of them until they were paralyzed on the floor in a catatonic mode.
Gabrielle sighed in a tired and went in search of that girl she was guided by her mutant brain wave, the girl went to the forest. Gabrielle watched as she fell to the ground and desperately sought refuge under the tree. She felt affection for the girl that was special. "Calm, little girl. Im here for you help" .Gabrielle would come slowly as he watched the girl had wounds all over her little body.

Westchester Academy sucked ass. Seán couldn't believe he had been forced to attend such a repulsive school filled with retarded people. Mutants. Had to engrain it in his mind: mutants, not people. Damn mutants.
He had taken the first chance to escape and slipped out the door to the bus station. New York City wasn't exactly his ideal destination, but it was a big place and he could lose himself in the crowd there. He took enough cash to get by for a day or two (depending upon how he spent it) and set out to see the city he had only heard about.
It was nothing like Portland. At all. It was bigger, busier, dirtier. The people were completely different, too. He had taken the bus into the city and departed in Manhattan at Central Park. He didn't know why; it wasn't that he disliked cities. He had lived in a suburb of one his entire life. But perhaps he didn't like being around so many people, and thus believed Central Park would be a reprieve from those who surrounded him. (Humans? Mutants? Who the hell cared?) The park itself was big enough to be its own country and looked like it might as well have been in this world of urban concrete and buildings. Seán slipped into the park and wandered down the shaded path, finally breathing that--
Screaming. Ah, what the hell? He ducked out of the way as some freakish thing ran passed him. His eyebrows shot up and he watched the creature disappear deeper into the park. Seán glanced back towards the entrance at a crowd of people searching feverishly for something. It didn't take a genius to put two and two together.
So the real question was, How much would they pay? They didn't seem to realize that their prey had gone into the park. Seán bet he could make a few bucks to tip them off. Hell, then he could stay in New York for awhile and not have to go back to that damned school.
But telling the humans that the mutant they sought went into the park would do no good. It was an empty direction with no evidence--anyone could say it, and he was certain that they'd figure it out themselves in time. So, before the mutant's footsteps disappeared through the trees, Seán gave chase. He was a fair distance behind it and doubted that the creature would realize he was there even if it wasn't running in a panic. Twice he nearly lost it, the latter time in which he almost overtook its body curled up in the roots of a tree. But there was a woman already there, tending to it.
Seán came to a stop and approached slowly, cautiously. He breathed more heavily since he was slightly out of breath. Twigs cracked underneath his shoes.

Sara didn't even hear the woman approach. She was concentration to hard on trying to keep quiet. Flash's of the chase and her long run through central park kept flashing back in her head. She had bean sent out to get food for her family that his in the sewers. She was the best choice since she could disguise herself. But the humans became wise to her when someone bumped her and she lost her concentration for just a second. But that second was long enough. The crowded street saw her for what she was and quickly began a chase. Sara had lost them several times but some how they kept finding her. Would they find her now in her knew hiding place?"
As a soft voice spoke to her she squeaked in fear. They had found her. She waited for cruel hands to grab at her and begin to pull her out from under the tree. But after a few minutes she looked out from between the roots of the tree. And standing alone looking down at her was a single woman with a kind and gentle face. Was this an act to get the f reak out from under the tree? Or was this woman as nice as she appeared.
Her dark gray eyes scanned for anyone else to see if it was a trick. And to the right of the woman almost hidden completely by shadows was another person watching her. Who where these people and what did they want with her? Something told her she could trust the lady at least. Slowly she crawled out from under the roots. But she stayed crouched near the ground ready to dart back in if needed. "Are you going to hurt me?" Sara was looking at the woman when she asked but the question was for both the woman and the man who stood watching them.

should not be afraid, little girl. I'm not going to hurt. I am a doctor, I can help to heal those wounds .
Gabrielle's lips did not move. She spoke telepathically to her in a calm manner to give the assurance that the girl needed. But Gabrielle sensed the presence of a young man who also had seen the girl run to hide in the forest.
"Calm, boy. Do not panic.' Have you come by car. Where are you from?. Can you bring us to Westchester school?. This little girl needs medical cares".She asked to the boy whiles she approached the girl and watched her special mutation, the green blood that she had injuries all over her body. "Will you go with us to a school where I assure you that we will take care of you". Gabrielle smiled at the young man tenderly as he knelt in front of her offering the hand.

They heard him. Of course he might as well have been riding on a pack of elephants with the noise he had made as he walked towards them. He came to a stop, somehow unable to move forward. He didn't want to help them.
Throwing a glance in the direction in which he came, he tried to remember the path back to the entrance of the park where he would go as soon as possible to claim his reward. It better be a damned good reward, too; Seán wasn't heartless, but he liked to gain from a situation. If this was the only way he could gain, so be it.
Chest still heaving as he regained his breath, he turned back to the girl and the woman, but he didn't make a move to come closer. He didn't care who they were; it would only make things more challenging. But . . . this woman knew of the school. His school now. Damn. That complicated the situation.
He had to bite his tongue to keep from telling them that if he had a car, he wouldn't be associating with them, but he didn't want to draw suspicion to himself. So he just shook his head and remained silent.
