In the middle of the year 2007 came the astonishing revelation that there are some that walk amongst us that are the apparent next step in evolution. People with remarkable "gifts" that could serve to reshape the world as we know it. Chaos filled the streets in the days that followed, with lives lost on either side. Fear of the unknown quickly became mistrust and suspicion, entire families were ripped apart. Governments fell when it came to light that they’d been covering it up for decades. In the years that follow it only steadily got worse, with more and more casualties piling up as hate steadily filled the hearts of the world.
