Life sucks, and then you die. And then it still sucks.[/center] For half of the characters we follow through the streets of New York, the city seems brimming with life. People are constantly on the go, always changing, always too busy to stop and smell the roses. They are the hectic moms, they are the struggling actors, they are the rich, the homeless, the everything in between. Ranging from the free spirit painting in Central Park to the stock broker on Wall Street, we see the people of NYC trying to find their way through the day-to-day craziness of real life in the Big Apple. The other half of our characters consist of those who have already lived. Most of them had jobs, most of them already had families, and all of them have already died. They are the grim reapers. You might still see one painting in the park, you might walk past one in Times Square, but these are not the average people going through the day-to-day. They are no longer hectic moms, and they have plenty of time to smell the roses. They are the tour guides between life and death.
We get a glimpse of life after life, based on the hit Showtime series.
