Bobby looked around him and a new simulation was already starting. This simulation was another one of Kitty's, as the title was unfamiliar to him. Getting to his feet he extended his hand down to her and hoped she would take it. When he knew she was up he brushed his pant legs and heard the thunder above crack and lightning shot just a foot in front of them sending up pieces of rubble. They were in a construction yard and humans were running for cover as towering Sentinel like robots were lumbering about sending bolts of lasers tearing into anything they could. "So, you wanted a stormy weather run with them huh?"

Kitty stared up at the beasts then over at Bobby, "I didn't do any of this." She watched the X-men take action. "Oh well, life isn't planned either. Cover me." She rushed at Wolverine and jumped, phasing into him. As she got her barrings, the sentinels aimed all fire power at Wolverine's quivering form. The lasers started up and Logan's head never raised, Kitty inside too focused on trying to get a hold of the body.

Bobby sighed and wondered who was running these programs anyway. The Professor wouldn't sink this low to settle failure in his students. Rushing forth he saw her take over Wolverine, but, the guy wasn't responding fast enough. The lasers were trained on him and he slid in front of him forming an ice barrier. This was his second barrier, and, to do a third would drrain him completely. "Alright Kitty...the show is yours...now hurry." Bobby felt an errratic display of power blast upon his shield and he tried to keep it steady. This was not good.

Logan blinked rapidly a few seconds more before standing upright and nodding at Bobby. A smile took Logan's face, and his dark eyes fixed on Bobby, looking him up and down.
"Lookin' good babe." Logan's hoarse, husky voice chuckled and he took off at the Sentinel. Who would such a line sound the worst from thought Kitty was inside them? Logan. It made it all worth the fight to take over his body, which had been extremely difficult.
Logan rushed at the Sentinel, digging in his claws to climb to the top. Seconds past fast and he finally reached the top, nearly losing himself as Kitty began to falter again. She shook it off and thrust Logan's claws deep into the Sentinel with a satisfying shred of metal and jerked all the way through. The head bounced off and Logan leapt down, landing on his feet and staring at the ground in a daze. Kitty slipped out and fell to her knees, gasping.
"I'm getting better, but this is getting so hard now..." Her voice was quiet, breathy. She watched Bobby with concerned eyes as the black spots threatened her vision. "Bobby? Are you...are you going to be alright?" She shook her head and wavered, keeping her consciouness as best she could.

Bobby shivered and knew he could never look at Logan the same way again. This is so gross and unnesecarry Kitty, he thought with a shake of his head. Watching her in action she climbed up the Sentinel and clung to it like a bamboo tree in a tropical storm. The Sentinel pitched its body about trying to loose the mutant, but, it seemed to no avail. Bobby panted as his ice shield finally gave away and he just stood there. One more ice shield and it would cost him gravely, not dead gravely, but enough energy would be wiped out that he coudln't move his own body of his own volition. Kitty was great up there, and down here, he was just lucky to be witness to this event.
The Sentinel was decapitated and the head just fell all the way down like it never was meant to be up there. Hearing the dull clang he grinned warily as he never knew if legs would pop out from beneath the head and it would begin to come towards him. Kitty was a little wobbily on her feet as she came towards him and he walked a few feet to greet her. "It becomes harder, but, like climbing a mountain...you need perseverence to conquer it."
Bobby noticed she wasn't doing so well and knew that at this point she needed help. "Look Kitty, I may not be Xavier, but I know you need to see him pronto. Your getting really close to falling to the ground, and, if I'm not mistaken you can't even focus on me without hesitating to think of what to say. Simulation end." Bobby watched the simulation end and he fell to his knees as he looked up at her. Perhaps it was two ice shields he wasn't supposed to risk.

Kitty shook her head warily, "No, I have a hold on this. I don't need to bother the professor." But her head felt heavy on her shoulders and her body screamed at her to lay down. So, she did, laying on the cool metal floor and staring up as the pixels of the simulation vanished and there was nothing but the plain, bluish metal for a ceiling. "I can't think of why the simulation changed. Can you?" She turned her head, glancing at Bobby with a frown. "Bobby, you don't look good. I mean, you always do, but you look worn down." He'd pushed himself too many times in too short a time for her. Not only that, but he'd pushed his mind, watching her so weak. She had seen his eyes strain to help her and hide the pain of it from her. "You tried so hard to help me, thank you Bobby. I owe you."

Bobby shook his head stubbornly as she was refusing his request, or suggestion, but leaning towards request. "Kitty...the Professor needs to know about this. You can barely stand, let alone stare at me with your usual fixated look of concentration. It is imperative he see you before we continue running such...simulations." As her boyfriend and best friend, he wanted her to be safe, and, being safe meant Xavier checking up on her new power. When she noted concern for him he wanted to wave it off, but, doing that would only endanger hismelf if he tried using his ice again.
"Tell you what, if I check myself into the hospital wing...you check in on Xavier. It is a rather good deal, seeing how the two of us can barely use our commands without blacking out right now...huh?" Bobby walked over to her and leaned on her shoulder, his blue eyes sparkling with some humor.

Kitty felt her stubborn resolve begin to falter and finally crumble. Bobby knew how much he meant to her, knew how important it was for him to take care of himself for her. "Damn you." She muttered with a smile. It was a loving tone, but he'd know she was a little upset he'd found a way to defeat her but was in some small space in her mind- glad for it. "Okay, Bobby. You escort your cute butt to the infirmary and I'll..." She sighed, was there a way out still? Was there some side alley she could take into getting what she wanted and staying away from Xavier? No. Bobby had closed off all her options and cornered her. "I'll go to Xavier."

"That a girl," Bobby said as he kissed her head and began to head out of the opening door. "I have to get to the medical ward before I fall too short of the door and need help in. You get yourself to Xavier and see what he can do about your new powers. I'll check with ya later." Bobby blew her a kiss as he set off at a brisk job to the medical ward. No point in stalling, he mused, I might be tempted along the way to freeze something or even skate there to shave some time off my record. Wearing a grin he nodded his head to some students along the way. My mentor hasn't been around of late, he noted, I'll have to find new methods of getting stronger for the day I face off against a sentinel.

Kitty frowned and got up slowly. She headed out the doors and down the wing toward the Professor's office with a slow trudge. Admitting defeat wasn't in her, it just wasn't. And having to go to the Professor to complain that she couldn't handle something when it was so small an issue compared to to others made her lower her head in shame. Kitty wanted to do this on her own and Bobby had tricked her into doing what he thought was best.
