ooc:This thread takes place in San Francisco
Sirens could be heard through out the streets of San Francisco as police cars were chasing a black van that contained 3 bank robbers that just robbed a near by bank. After hearing about the robbery from his police scanner at home, Alex quickly put on his black super hero attire and mask and jumped high into the air with his super strength toward the direction of the chase the second he got out of his apartment building. Alex would then land in front of the black van and put his arms in a position that would allow a person to catch something big.
When Alex caught the on coming van, he used his super strength to stop the van in it's tracks. The bank robbers would then get out of the car with their hand guns and started shooting at Alex, however the bullets just bounced off of the super hero's body and didn't harm him at all. Alex would then punch the first bank robber in the face with enough strength to knock out a normal human, follow by a quick kick to the second bank robber, sending him into the van. As for the third bank robber, he threw a punch at Alex's face, but Alex quickly caught it and knocked out the guy with a punch to the stomach.
Figuring that the police could handle it from here, Alex used his super strength again to jump on top of a large building as the police officers got out of their cars to arrest the bank robbers.

Adam sighed. He'd come here to follow a lead. Fortunately for him, he'd manage to not only find a lead but put an end to the operation. He had discovered a Rat from an Underground Drug Ring. He'd been able to get the necessary information and had brought down the Ring. Now he was out on a walk, enjoying the San Fransisco air. He sighed again. He was quite bored. It was then that he took notice to the unraveling scene. He watched as the young superhero jumped away after his feat. His interest peaked, he decided to follow the young lad. He transported behind the kid. "Quite a dangerous game you're playing." From what it seemed, this kid was trying to be the next Spider-man. His eyes got to work, studying the kid's moves.

Alex would then turn around after hearing the comment about the dangerous game he was playing and noticed a young man that appeared to be a year older than him. How did this guy get up here? There aren't any doors that he could have gone through to get up here though Alex as his power mimicry ability copied Adam's powers. As soon as his abilities were copied, he thought he heard Adam say something about him as Adam studied the new hero. Though in reality, he heard Adam's thoughts through the telepathy ability he just gained.
"Well it's nothing I can't handle, and is it really wise to tell someone you're studying him when you just met him?" asked Alex who's body posture wasn't in any kind of defensive position at all, After all, if bullets couldn't hurt him, what could?

As Alex tried to mimic Adam's ability his senses would overload and he would pass out from the reverb as Adam's ability was one that was impossible to master. The ability to analyze every action and have a million thoughts running through their mind was an overload for most mutants. It was almost at the level of Omnipotence. So as he tried to copy Adam's ability, he would pass out on the floor, his body trying to protect himself. Adam would sigh as he approached the kid. "Superstrength, Invulnerability and Power Mimicry? You picked the wrong ability to copy kid. Sorry." He approached the kid and touched him on the head as he suppressed his Power Mimicry, albeit temporarily. The kid would then wake up.

Then all of a sudden, Alex's mind was filled with thousands of thoughts and passed out as his body tried to cope with that ability. When Alex woke up, he saw Adam remove his hand from his head which gave Alex the impression that he looked under his mask. Since he couldn't afford to have someone blabbing out his secret, Alex would then attempt to grab Adam by the collar of his shirt in order to lift him up into the air. If that worked Alex, would then ask in a threatening voice "What did you do when I was out and what just happened to me?"

He sighed. Who did this kid think he was. He had already analyzed the situation and now he was getting tired of it. He transported a couple of steps back. "You should really only threaten those you can beat. The fact that I work for the F.B.I doesn't really help your case either, does it?" He was starting to put the pieces together. This kid was a wannabe superhero. Adam wondered if the kid knew what he was doing. "Your name?" He asked it in a simple voice but there were many undertones to his voice. He was giving a warning. He wasn't to be messed with.[/cp

"Well I can't have people knowing my identity. Especially when the person in question is a stranger that moved moved his head away from my head as I wake up" explained Alex after Adam telported a few steps back and told him not to threaten someone he can't people. When Adam told him that he was an FBI agent, Alex froze as he realized that he needed to be careful with his actions and what he said, or he'll wind up with an enemy that he can't handle alone.
"My name is Reven and I'm basically a super hero that just started crime fighting about a month ago.The only super powers I have is super strength and invulnerability, so I figured that the most useful thing I could do with these powers is fight crime" said Alex using his super hero name. The fact that he didn't mention his power mimicry ability could easily tell someone like Adam that he has no idea that he even has that ability. After all, Adam did mention Alex's abilities while he was passed out.

Adam arched his right eyebrow. He wasn't surprised but more intrigued. He decided not to yet tell him about his ability. "Well, my friend, I'm afraid I can't let you continue. Rather, I think you should go to Xavier's school in New York. Mutants aren't very welcome nowadays...Let me put it this way: Either you go to Xavier's Institute or you stop 'fighting crime.' It's your choice really."

"Before I make my choice, I would like to hear more about Xavier's school and what would happen to me exactly if I decide not to go and continue fighting crime like I have been doing?" said Alex wanting to know all of the details of Adam's deal. After all, one does not sign a contract without knowing the consequences of failing to complete something. But since Adam is an FBI agent, he figured that he would have the FBI along with every other government agency after him.

Adam chose his words carefully as he began to explain The Institute to this young man. He watched him, seeing his reactions. Once he was done he took a deep breath. "As for what happens if you continue, well you are not Spiderman my friend. I'm afraid you'd be arrested. We don't allow Vigilantes in San Fransisco. But if you really don't want to go, I can always turn a blind eye. After all, I was your age a couple of years ago."

"What exactly makes you think I need to go to this school? I almost have complete control over my super strength, though... I'm not sure what will happen if I have sex. And since my invulnerability isn't a power that need to be controlled and I'm using my powers for good, I see no reason for me to go there" said Alex feeling a bit embarrassed that he told someone that he was afraid of losing control of his super strength if he were in a certain situation.

Adam rolled his eyes, "Super-strength aren't your only abilities kid. Matter of fact, your ability almost made you wind up dead. If you want a reason to go, it's because you almost ended up dead. I'll put a mental block to prevent you from using it until you've spoken with Professor Xavier. Since you're not even aware of your other power, I'd say you definitely need the help." As he said all this, he would slyly start putting up mental blocks to prevent the kid from using his Power Mimicry. He walked up to the kid and touched his forehead. He imprinted the address of the Xavier Institute in his head. Adam now had Super-strength and Invulnerability, two things he had given up a while ago.

"My other power?" said Alex right before Adam placed his finger on his head. When he did, he suddenly knew the address of the school Adam was talking about earlier. Since Adam said his was only going to block that power, Alex knew that he could still continue his crime fighting career, but he couldn't help but wonder what was this ability of his.
"What exactly is this power anyway? Is it something that could help me fight crime better?" asked Alex.

Adam smiled wickedly. He knew he had the kid's interest at this point. But he wasn't going to give out the information the kid wanted. "If you want to know then go to the institute before you get yourself killed. You're not invincible. One of these days you're going to meet another Mutant and you're going to be in serious trouble. For example, I could kill you right now in just a couple of movements. You don't understand your abilities. You may know what you can do but you're not aware of the risks or your limitations."

"Fine, I'll go there to meet this Professor Xavier. But after I meet him, I'll leave and experiment with this new ability on my own" said Alex as he turned towards the direction of his house. Using his super strength, Alex would reach his house with one giant leap leaving Adam alone on the building. However unknowingly to Alex, the school Adam mentioned would be the perfect place to experiment with this ability.
