Mystique had been having a rough month. Ever since Magneto turned his back on her, she had been brooding and furious. She felt more alone than ever, and that only made her anger grow. It was unfair the way he had treated her. She had been his right hand. She'd always been completely faithful to him, never failing at her missions, the best and most valuable member of the brotherhood. How could he have done that to her?
Sitting with her legs crossed, she waited on the subway. She was headed downtown to the FBI head quaters. Since she'd been on her own, she'd landed a place as a government operative under the code name Raven Darkholme.
She'd been going by it for the past month. This was the same form that she had turned Magneto's plan into the FBI. Now she was one of them, working with them for now as a secret agent. It sickened her to be working so closely with the humans, but she had no choice. She needed the inside access, and the money was definitely fabulous. Her true alliance was only to herself.

Cable had been tracking this woman for an age. she was skilled and he knew her use would be. Finally after an age of hunting he had found her. He knew her only goal was her self and that she would turn on him as and when it suited her but he was ok with that. it was the price he had to pay of her aid.
"You know its not the safes place to be the subway." he sat down beside to all he was a normal man. his powers masked everything that was different about him. "specially for some one who hate's humans like you do." HE took a sip of some coffee and waited for her response.

Raven pulled out her phone and began to go through her emails from the agency. They had her doing mission after mission, but she didn't really care. With her skills, the missions became easy and almost boring. She just hated helping them. They didn't deserve the help. Which is why, she usually made sure she got something out of each mission.
"You know its not the safes place to be the subway, specially for some one who hate's humans like you do."
Raven looked up to see a man sitting beside her looking at her as if he knew her. She raised an eyebrow looking at him. He obviously knew who, and what, she was. So the what did he want? "Who are you?" she asked, her eyes suspicious and her words blunt.

"Like you i am a powerful mutant, people call me Cable. You can think of me as your fairy god father if you want i am here to take you away from here. Fancy saving the entire mutant race and even getting a chance to remove Magneto from the world."
he smiled so she was not the ice queen every one had said. May be that part of her was still to come after all she spent so much time in other people skin that she had forgotten the truth. he sent a small telepathic thought for her to shift back in to her natural state. he alowed her to see the real him. "like you i don't like normal."

Raven raised an eyebrow, looking the man up and down. Who did this guy think he was? Raven didn't like being in the dark, and she certainly didn't like being told what to do. "I don't need a 'fairy god father', thanks," she said turning her gaze away from him and back down to the magazine in her hands. She didn't know who this idiot was, but she didn't want anything to do with him.
And then she heard a voice in her head and saw a picture of the real him. She turned to look back at him quickly, but he was still in the human form. Her eyes narrowed at him. "Get out of my head," she hissed threateningly.

" You know Mystique, you have the skills i need and i am willing to pay for them and give you a chance to kill magneto and the weapons to do it. All i ask if for you to quit that stupid job and come fight for the benefit of all mutant kind. Honestly you are not happy with the work you are doing."
He knew this was a tough sell and he was willing to do the work. " Tell me would you be willing to talk to me if i was a base line human? You know i am a mutant like you so what would it take for you to come work for me?"

"I can't just quit my job. I've worked too hard at this alias to just throw it away. My job gives me connections and resources. Not to mention and inside ear. It's too valuable." She frowned, not bothering to look up at him from her magazine. They were already looking way too suspicious just talking. What if someone over heard? The more she thought about his offer though, the more she considered it. There was no way she would quit her job. Not yet. But, she could use the weapons, and she knew that he would have more access and information than the FBI. Maybe she could do both...
"My loyalties would not be to you," she said finally, taking the risk and looking up at him, "I'll only help you, if you help me. No exceptions. I leave when I want to leave, and I am my own boss." The additional money he would have to pay her while she worked for him was a given. "Any less than that, and there's no chance."

"trust me there is a lot more i could offer you than you can me. I know a lot about you and your drives. I do my home work before i even talk to some one. Your drives and goals are a lot like mine i want to save mutant kind and i am willing to kill for it. The difference between me and magneto is this i look after those i work with and my plans are long term. As for you identity well keep it if you want i sure it will be of use i want the real you not this shell you been using. I find your teams are fair i would not expect anything less. Hell i will even help you out with other things from time to time can't say fairer than that. Oh and don't worry about any one listening in as far as any knows we are to O.A.P's siting talking about the weather and i did not just read your mind so don't be offend i would be concerned about our conversation as well."

Raven frowned. The deal sounded great, but she hesitated. She had problems trusting anyone now a days. Ever since Magneto had betrayed her, that meant that anyone could. She didn't want to experience that feeling again. Raven looked down, then around at the passengers in the subway. Finally, her eyes turned back to Cable, serious, yet frustrated, "Ok," she said finally, "What do you want me to do?"

Take this its a communication devices" he handed her a small device that was no bigger than a lipstick. " I hope its your color." he could tell she was not completly happy with this

Raven nodded at his instructions and took the device. She opened it up and sure enough, underneath the dark red lipstick, was a complex blinking lights. Just then, the subway slowed to a stop, the screeching noise of the breaks echoing through the tunnel. The doors opened and people began filing out. She looked to Cable as she stood, grabbing her things, "Alright Cable, this is my stop. Send for me when you have a plan." And with that she gave him a lasting smirk and headed out into the crowd.

Cable smiled things were working well. she was going to end up stabbing him in the back but then he knew that and he had it all planed out. it was going to be an interesting year. he knew she would be playing every angle but there was some she could not see"body slide." with that he faded out of the train.
