Kitty smiled slowly and caught the ball. "A gentleman?" she laughed teasingly. Kitty dribbled to the first line and aimed, shooting it sweetly into the hoop. She smiled at Bobby. "You're nothing but a cute scoundrel." She stepped closer to him, tugging on his jacket so she could kiss him. "And I like it."

Bobby once again felt like he was in a losing battle. Then again, he was a winner in her heart, so, that had to count somewhere. Smiling as she approached him he kissed her back and held the kiss before pulling back. "Alright, just shoot already. By the way, you have skill, I assume you had this skill before I challenged you huh?" Bobby stayed at his spot on the first line and couldn't believe he was going to lose, and, they had already just begun.

She laughed and aimed, making her second shot and hearing the satisfying swish. "Yup, I mean, when you got with Rogue, I didn't have anyone to hang out with, so I busied myself. I eventually got really good at a few things, basket ball being one of them." She smiled and tossed him the ball. Bobby was a comforting presence, even if they weren't doing anything, she liked to have him around, no matter what was going on.
"Let's see what you got, Iceman." teasingly, she poked his abs and bit her lip as she smiled.

Bobby caught the ball and grinned as she teased him with his codename. He hated what had happened when he was with Rogue, to forget about Kitty, he would never let that mistake occurr again. Though, as he held the ball he smiled as he threw it back to her. "I'd love and give you a run for your money, but, you still have two shots, which means two chances. So far you haven't missed, and, you continue till you lose those two chances, or lives of yours per say."
Bobby would have to be patient till his turn. For now he didn't mind watching his girlfriend kick his butt in this game. He smiled over at her and watched how she moved, and, hoped he could copy exactly that for his turn.

Kitty frowned and looked at the hoop. She knew she could beat Bobby, but where was the fun in that? Kitty spun, stepped over a crack, dribbled the ball once between her legs and shot. Swish. She smiled at Bobby and dribbled, aimed, shot...missed.
"Man, sure thought I would get that one." She offered an innocent smile and tossed him the ball. "Whatcha got?"

Bobby thought of saying she had one shot left, but, he knew in the end it was all in the fun of the game, not on who won. So he got the ball and dribbled it, keeping his eyes locked on the hoop before him. Aiming the shot he made it and the swish confirmed his thoughts. Taking the second line he trained his blue eyes on what he wanted and made the shot with a one handed shot. Bobby didn't want to get cocky, so he dribbled a few times before making the shot. He was now on the fourth line, a little before the half court shot.
No trouble, he thought, I can make this. Bobby shot and missed, his smile turning into a frown. Ok, one more shot, no sweat. He shot again and missed,, this one spinning about, but instead of doing that toilet shot, it just went off the edge. "I guess my luck is sort of running out," he tossed her the ball.

Kitty sifted her arms around his waist and kissed his jaw. "On the contrary, you've got me, don't you?" She smiled and kissed his neck lightly before taking the ball and aiming, shooting...she missed. She turned around to frown at him. "Your bad luck rubbed off on me." She tried again and missed. "Man, what is up with me now?" She handed the ball to Bobby. "The suspense continues..." she said teasingly.

Bobby grinned as she kissed his neck. Yep, he thought, she speaks the truth, she is my lady luck. Watching as she took the ball she tried several attempts at making a shot, but each one seemed to hit the backboard and never really sail in. Laughing as held the ball he shot and made the shot and went on to the half court shot. This was the big one, to make it here he would go onto the other four lines before going further back.
"Looks like we are tied up," Bobby took a shot, but, it went too high up. Dribbling the ball after having recovered it he lined up another shot. The shot sailed close, but, it was rejected and headed down at his feet. "Have an explanation lady luck?" He kissed her cheek and handed her the ball.

She looked exasperated, "I have no idea on this one." She took the ball and aimed, shooting and hearing the swish. She went to the half court shot and focused, shot...and missed. "What the heck?" she caught the ball and handed it to Bobby. "All up to you, I think something's distinctly messed up my chi." She joked.

Bobby laughed and took hold of the ball. The half court shot, the one that most basketball players had to make in free throw. Bouncing it once on the court he stared up at the net like it was mocking him. I just need to focus, he thought, make the shot and do not worry if it misses. Bending his knees some he aimed the shot and pushed off with one hand, the other hand balancing the shot. The ball soared through the air and he held his breath, yearning and wishing for it to make it. When the ball swished he cheered and ran up kissing Kitty. "I made it. I can't believe it, I usually miss that shot, but, today I actually made it."

She laughed, wrapping her arms around him and kissing his face. "I'm so happy for you! Good job!" she cheered, laying a line of kisses along his jaw and to his lips. "You solved the puzzle for the both of us." She leaned back and watched the ball bounce. "So, what else are we going to do today? Any more ideas?" She traced patterns on his chest and waited.

Bobby enjoyed the sweet kisses and then thought of other ideas for the two of them to do. There were plenty of ways to have fun while dating, and, he looked out at the empty court for an idea. "Hmm, well seeing how basketball was my idea, you come up with something. Besides, whatever you choose to do I will love it...promsie." Bobby hugged her body and looked down at her with a promise in his blue eyes. The court was theres, and, no one was around for quite some distance.

Kitty thought a few moments. Everything she could think of was out of the mansion and unsafe for her to attend. "Well, we could play....hide and seek in the mansion? Or out here. Or even...we could play chess or watch a movie..." Kitty shrugged. "What sounds good to you?"
She was a very passive girl, nothing like Rogue whom was stubborn and determined. Sometimes Kitty wondered why Bobby would pick someone so different than Rogue. Maybe it was that difference that made her more precious to him.

Bobby smiled. It was these ideas that made up the core of a relationship. In fact, it was that normalcy that he didn't really have with Rogue. Thinking of her suggestions, hide and seek would be difficult, seeing how she had the power to phase. Watching a movie would mean having to go inside, and, the great outdoors just beckoned to the two of them right now. Bobby though had another idea, just like hers, the idea would work on that typical teenager need to have fun.
"Alright Kitty...how about we play truth or dare? You know, the safe version, nothing too unschool like or you know actually at a party. So what do you say, you in?" Bobby asked with a wry grin.

She tilted her head at him, thinking with a smile. Slowly, she nodded, "Yeah, I could do some Truth or dare." But what was Bobby up to? Something didn't quite feel right here, not bad. It was just that Bobby seemed to have an alternate schedule that Kitty couldn't see yet. But she didn't mind, she trusted Bobby and trusted who he was to her. "You're on."
