Bobby paced about and tapped his chin in thought. This game was one he used to play with his friends back home, before the mutant changes. Of course, it was played with guys, so they were dares that usually embarrassed one another. Turning to face her he wore a wry grin and stared at her with his blue eyes staring into her chocolate ones. "Alright Kitty, you'll go first. Truth or dare?" I wonder what she is thinking, he thought; seeing how she was looking at him with such curiosity. I can't really question her thoughts, so, I'll just let it be for now.

Kitty sighed and looked down in thought. She had been alone even in Illinois, she'd only watched other people play. "Okay, well...truth." She fixed her brown eyes on him. There was a lot she wanted to know of Bobby still, maybe this was the way to find out? Kitty wasn't sure but she went for something small that was nearly pointless for now. "When did you first find out about your power?"

"Kitty," Bobby smiled politetly, "I ask the question to you then I ask a question that is directed at you. So when I ask truth or dare, you chose truth, so now I get to ask something about you...I feel like a broken record. Anyway here I go, is there a guy other then me that your crushing on?" Bobby had went with the truth angle, and, she went along, so now he got to see if anything was going on with Kitty. If not, he could breathe a sigh of relief, but Kitty was so attractive, she could draw in any guy without having to work too hard on it. But she could work hard on it though, he noted after a second thought.

Kitty blushed with embarassment when he reexplained the game. "Sorry," She muttered. "I haven't played this before." But when he asked his question, she nearly froze as if he'd sent his power through her. She felt like ice inside and out, shards protruding into her heart. "I..." now red flags stained her cheeks because she was growing hot fast. She wanted a simple, fast answer that would get her out of any hot water she could be in. "Colossus and Kurt."
She let her hair fall and hide her face, "Okay, Bobby, truth or dare?" Her voice was quiet and distant, afraid that her new found love would be ended because Bobby knew she liked other guys too.

Bobby felt panic hit his heart as she said this. It can't be, he thought, and I thought...no...I should've known better. I can't let her see that it has impacted me, I can't let her know that I feel cheated on. I have not looked at one girl, nor, have I even thought about any girl while I was with Kitty. When I was with Rogue I only thought of Kitty once, and then the thoughts were gone. I am the most loyal boyfriend anyone can have, and, I feel so...alone. Further down the line...I wonder if Kitty and I will even last.
Smiling weakly he thought over her question. "Dare," he said, knowing that if she asked the same question, his honesty would only make her feel bad. Like I am right now? This is probably what she wanted to tell me at the pool that day.

Kitty watched Bobby's eyes shift and she turned her head, staring at the ground with solid brown eyes. "It's not fair," she murmured, unable to look at him. He wanted to play this game and asked her the first question he could that would put a sliver of doubt in his mind about them. Then, he wouldn't give her the same satisfaction of knowing. Had he planned this so long and knew how to get what he wanted without falling in return?
Kitty looked up at him and fixed her eyes there. "I"m not playing, it's not a game anymore." She didn't sound terribly angry, just foul played. Kitty turned and started off the court.

"How long Kitty?" Bobby stood where he did and tried to bring some strength into his voice. "Cause you know I only thought once of another girl when with Rogue, only one and it was once. I never looked at another girl, and even after our skating, I still was with Rogue. You've been thinking of other guys...how long Kitty? How strong is this relationship if we can't be honest with one another. Kitty...I'm in the dark here...help me out."
Bobby sighed and placed his hands in his pockets. He loved her, and, he was not denying the emotions inside him. He would never hurt her, or betray her, but right now on this court he was hurting inside.

Kitty stopped and whirled to face him. "Kurt and I are just friends, and Colossus only just got here, I haven't talked to him at all! You asked who I liked, I told you. That doesn't mean I chased after them while we are dating. That means I like them." Her mouth gaped and her brown eyes swirled painfully. "You're not in the dark Bobby, I'd let you know if something was going on, and nothing is."
She turned and headed for the mansion. "I'll talk to you later." She needed to cool off, needed to blow off some steam before she said something she didn't mean.

Bobby furrowed his brow as he saw her walk off. Looking to the side he knew something was up inside of her. She was not telling him everything, like was another way of saying something could happen...or for the most part happen. I had given up everything for her, he thought, where does this leave us? Bobby wanted to say he was sure the two of them would still be together, but, that was an estimate he wouldn't place his life on. Turning away from the mansion he walked to the garage and got into one of the vehicles.
On the license plate was Iceman and he pulled out of the garage and decided to take a little trip. Anything to put his mind at ease on the current situation..
