The sun was high in the sky, not a single cloud in the sky. Looking around with intense green eyes, Rahne was looking for a peaceful and quite place to sleep. After the morning filled with classes, she decided to find a nice area to relax, but that was easier said than done. Trying to escape to her room, Rahne crawled into bed after lunch only to be disturbed by the constant commotion from the other students. Quietly swallowing her annoyance, the auburn haired girl left her room to seek shelter someplace else.
Second, she tried to sneak down to the basement and eventually found a isolated area that resembled very much like a cave. After a few minutes of silence, a small class of students was lead by a professor to learn about the x-jet and other mechanics. Rahne did her best to ignore the voices, the lesson, but it came to much when the Blackbird was suddenly roaring.
Finally she found the Japanese Garden and came to a tree that cast a shadow from the noon sun. The tranquility was amazing and with no loud, obnoxious students running around to ruin her moment, Rahne gently smiled at her small paradise. Stretching towards the sky, the mutant suddenly changed into a large type creature- - very similar to a wolf. Since she normally hated to transform into her lupine or transit form in front of people, embarrassed they are often frightened by her appearances, Rahne kept her transformation down to a minimum. But lately it was difficult for her to maintain human form, her animal instincts wanting to be unleashed.
Digging her snout into the dirt playfully, the large wolf mentally grinned as she rolled onto her back beneath the shadow and looked up to the sun that cast its rays between the leaves. Rolling around in the dirt, Rahne always felt more refresh when she was around nature. From a distance, her superior hearing could hear someone approaching. Not wanting to cause someone to become disturbed by her appearances, she crouched down below the ground and hoped they would pass by.

Classes were done, homework was been written for him as the students would come back in a week, to see what they have learned. Now it was his break or rather a free day. So he looked outside as he saw the Sun high in the sky. It was time to get outside, James didn't like to get locked into a building when the sun was still shining. He could still stay that when it was night.
So he grabbed his cane as he ticked the ground just to find the route. It was still confusing for him to find the places, even if he was here for like what 5 years now or even more. He forget the time as he didn't really mind.
When he finally was outside he could find his place. The Japenese Garden. Something that brought him closer to nature, or like he called it, his Flora, his heaven. When he finally was there, he could feel that there was a wolf or something there. Maybe it was a student but he couldn't be sure of that.
So his cane leading the way he looked straight to a wolf playing with dirt. But it moved real quick already as he tapped his cane. "I don't want to harm you, if you are a student, if you are a animal I still don't want to hurt you, I am Nature, or James Manson here. Teacher and also likes Flora."James said as he looked straight to the grounds were he knew the wolf was.

When the person revealed himself, Rahne came out from hiding, knowing exactly who it was. She never had Professor Mason’s class before, but she heard he was a good combat teacher even though he was blind. Having the courage to approach him in wolf form, she felt safe since he couldn’t necessary see her; Rahne crawled against the ground until she was in reaching distance. Out of habit, she sniffed his scent until she memorized it and looked up towards the combat instructor. She never had the chance to speak with him one on one, but she was glad he was the only person here.
Reverting back into human form, Rahne sat on the ground, consciously tugging at her shirt. She felt the blind instructor wasn’t a threat, but she couldn’t talk as a wolf, so she transformed into her original body so that she can tell him she was a student. Leaning against the tree she was under, Rahne picked at the grass, loving the feel beneath her skin.
"Hello Professor Mason," Rahne responded in human language, blushing he caught her playing in the dirt. "I’m...ah, Rahne Sincliar. I’m also a student here."
There was a slight breeze, rustling the leaves above. Rahne enjoyed physical activity and often times can see her running and playing with the other students, but it was rare for her to find a moment of peace. Many at the school and the faculty have grown use to her rather brute form, so it was rare for her to transform in public, thus the reason she was outside alone.
"I’m not bothering you, am I?" Rahne asked her hand absent-minded brushing the grass. "I was just relaxing. It’s very nice out without having any one bother you."

James looked to her as he saw how the person revealed herself. First in wolf form and after that in student form. He gave a soft smile as he heard her speak. "Hello Rahne."James said looking to her. He felt the wind going through his hair as he looked back to her again. "Just call me James, I am not teaching for today, so people can call me James."He said as he gave another soft smile.
He grabbed his cane as he walked slowly to her. He walked slowly as he didn't want to make her angry or anything. He sat down next to her as he heard her voice. A soft and a calm voice. Something he didn't hear in a long time. "You are not bothering, I am in contact with nature and I don't like being locked uo in a classroom, I rather stay here in the gardens."James said as he gave a smile. "I hope you don't mind sitting next to you and letting me relax a bit here."James asked looking to her.
He hoped she didn't say no but if she did he would leave and go somewhere else. He hold his hand on the grass as he felt how it breathed. It showed everything as he let a rose appear out of the grass. He then grabbed it softly as he turned to Rahne putting the rose into her hair as he gave a smile.

Rahne didn’t mind in the least, as she moved over a few inches to make more room for James. She continued to look at, imaging what it must be like to be blind. She couldn’t bring herself to imagine a world in darkness since the only thing she ever knew was sight and the beauty that you are able to see. Rahne laughed when she saw a rose come from the ground and placed gently into her hair. She decided than it might not matter is he could see nor not, because finding beauty can be done without sight.
“Thank-you,” Rahne replied as she touched her gift. It smelled heavenly, and since her sense of smell was superior to an average human, the girl found the rose to be exceptionally wonderful. The shy girl blushed, embarrassed to be given a nice gift and not have anything to return. She never received a rose from anyone, not her father and especially not a boy. “It’s lovely.”
Sitting beneath the sky, next to a professor, Rahne was surprised she did not feel the least bit uncomfortable. Normally, she would be afraid to intimidate someone and because Rahne wasn’t fond on strange, she was amazed at herself for not turning away. Looking back the combat teacher, she gazed at him for a few seconds, shy to ask a question that has been on her mind. But deciding he wouldn’t mind, Rahne decided to be brave and ask her question.
“I hope you don’t mind me asking, but I was curious, what is it like to be blind?” She asked, hoping it would not upset him.

James looked to her as he saw how she reacted to the rose. He smiled as he looked to her. He heard her thanks as he looked to her. "This is a special rose, some don't even know it."James said. "It brings the beauty of the person to the light."James said. "It is known to be a gift."James said. "Don't worry, they grow, but you don't see them much."He said as he gave another smile.
He then looked into the sky as he really didn't see anything but he could feel the sun. "I will tell you, I have lived for 5 years with seeing, and the darkness then took control of my eyes. I never tried to heal my eyes from the fire."James said. "I was afraid."James said.
He sighed a bit as he looked to her. "It is fine that you ask."James said. "I wish something could be done about it, but I was scared of what would happen as I never really tried to be brave."He said. "But I guess I miss seeing but this is, the nature it helps me."James said as he looked to her.

Rahne listened quietly to the past behind his blind eyes. Because of a fire when James was only five years old, he lost his sight and was unable to see sense. But when he claimed that nature helps him, Rahne shifted her head curiously. It was strange to imagine how the ground and plants were able to help him see. The girl knew the sense of smell was incredibly helpful and if an accident ever happened that took away her sight, hearing and smelling could easily replace the lost use of her eyes. It wouldn’t matter because able to have the advantage of a dog’s superior senses in human form, it was one advantage Rahne learned to enjoy over the years.
"How does nature help you to see?" Rahne asked curiously, looking into his blind eyes. "I understand what it’s like to feel uneasy about a hard decision, and feeling less brave to make it." Rahne felt like she might be talking in riddles and trying to speak in into words was difficult. The mutant struggled with her powers every day because an emotion problem inside stops her from enjoying them to the fullest. She feels are if her abilities are more of a burden than helpful.
The auburn haired girl felt safe around James. It helped they were both in their natural environment, but was very calm and gentle. He wasn’t afraid of her or tried to provoke her. Yes, there were many students who enjoyed playing with her because they miss their pet at home or feel comfortable around her because they know anyone who attacks will easily be scare of Rahne’s lupine form. But speaking with James felt natural and allowed her to feel human.

"The vibes from the leaves or anything from nature, sends me the strength to see."He said. "I never really saw or what happened."He said looking to her. "I don't understand what happened with it."He said as he looked to her. "But I learned to feel the vibes as I could see every shape, it is really hard to explain. So yeah I am sorry."He said as he looked to the ground. "It is what I want, but if I lose more then my sight, then everything can be gone."He said. "I wish I could cry but even that in my eyes, I can't."He said.
He sighed a bit as he looked to her. "So let's just talk about happy things, what are your powers?"He asked. "First I thought a shape shifter, but I don't think you are."He said. "You are in your wolf form, so might it be that then?"He asked as he put his hand on the ground. But it wasn't the ground he felt, he felt the hand as he pulled quick back. He blushed as he looked away, so she couldn't see that.

Because James wanted to talk about more pleasant things, Rahne shifted and agreed with him politely. She didn’t want to bring up memories of the past. Heck, she knew what it was like to want to leave the past in the past, and best just of forget about it. Moving to lean against the tree, Rahne felt his hand briefly before he pulled away. It didn’t bother her in the least; feeling quite relaxed which was unusual for her.
“Yeah, I am a wolf. I mean, not like a werewolf. I can transform into might appear as a werewolf, but I’m not prone to changing on fullmoons.” Rahne replied all in one breath, realizing she might have just babbled. “I’m sorry. I just use to people joking about how I resemble a werewolf. I think I just got sensitive about it.”
Why was she so nervous? Rahne normally let people have their fun and eventually the left her alone. They were either freaked out about it, or some thought it was cool and were less than sensitive about it. Rahne cared a great deal what people thought of her, but tried her hardest to not let people beat her down.
