Charlie stood outside of Xavier's office. This was the moment of truth. She'd have to walk in there and talk about something she really couldn't remember. The night she attacked the professor and even Jean and Scott when they came to save him. Not that he would of even needed them too. No one here trusted her yet, but she would gain their trust. It was just that simple, she had too. She wanted to be here and he would sense that probably beforte she walked in the room.
Charlie knocked on the door and walked inside the large office. It looked the same as it always did even though it was decorated differently. The natural scent of the room seemed to relax her. She looked up and saw Xavier. "Hello.." She said clearing her throat and taking a seat. "I'm sorry for attacking you and then just leaving. The last thing I remember was Scott shooting me out the window." She said looking behind Xavier and out the window. "I want back in the X-Men. Someone had some kind of control over me and I guess I attacked you." She told him, taking a pause to let it absorb into Xavier's mind. She wanted this to be quick and harmless.
"I want to come back and I know you may not trust me or like me. But I have no where else to go. And I'm trying to change, I am." She pleaded. "I can be on probation if you think that would be best. Maybe not quite an honorary X-Men but at least give me another chance. Not everyone will be happy I'm here but I have Logan and Jean's blessings I believe." She told him honestly. " I won't let you down." She said fially looking at him and relaxing.
