Betsy landed in an alleyway, standing there, pondering for a moment. She wondered, should she go back? And fulfill her vision? Or should she just go away, never to meet him again? Never to fulfill his wishes, to be normal. To touch. She could help. Telepaths could, if strong enough, will a mutant to discontinue power usage for a period of time,as long as they concentrated. She could even create a barrier, as the Professor had done to Jean Grey, allowing him to not access that power. Of course, it would come back one day, but she could tame it for a time... And he might be able to be normal. To ignore Weapon X. To live happily... But what was it? Her problem? Why go to all the trouble of helping him if she got nothing out of it!... Because, he had been sincere when he said he wanted to help her. Sadly, it was true. Betsy wasn't being a saint tonight. She ran off, into the darkness of the night.
