Abby finally turned back to look at him when he mentioned his uncle. It was her turn to sigh and shook her head. ”He has the idea of getting the shares of the company that I now own in any way he can. Not much unlike Mr. Stane.” She finally told him and her attention was diverted to the growing crowd across the street. They were waving and calling to Iron Man and she could swear that his head was getting bigger inside his helmet as he lavished in the attention. She peeked around him to see a little girl wave at her and tugged on what must have been her mother’s clothes. Once the girl had the woman’s attention, she pointed directly at Abby and whispered something in her ear. Abby sighed, as she had hoped that Tony would have taken all the attention. She was wrong.
"You know you could always go to the police for a while too, I hear they're great this time of year?"
She returned her attention back to him when he offered her the second option. ”So you think that they’ll allow me to return to my NYU classes next week? I doubt they’ll believe me when I tell them that I am a registered student.” She then had the look of an idea forming in her mind about how to handle this situation… gracefully. When he returned the drive to her, she somehow figured that he had downloaded only the weapon files and silently smirked to herself. ”Well, there is my father, but I don’t know how he would feel about a daughter he possibly doesn’t know he had suddenly showing up on his doorstep…” She finally said as she returned her glaze back to his helmet. It was an opening and she was going to see how he would react first to it before dropping what some would call the bomb.

Tony looked to the girl giving him a straight off answer as if she personally knew him, as if he was supposed to know her uncle was a snake. He shrugged it off as just over observing something and continued to think of the options. He noticed some of the crowd seemed to take notice of Abigail. She was on almost mag as he was when he was a child and even now, which was a bit odd but found it purely coincidental. The crowd a bit to big when the police had to step in and hold them back from attacking the two with questions. Jarvis kept on updating him on the files they just downloaded from the flash drive. There was a file on there that wasn't uploaded onto his HUD, but that was simply because it didn't have any current standing on the situation at hand. Or at least that was what Tony thought at the moment while he tried to figure out two problems at once.
Which wasn't a problem, he could solve these while signing papers and drinking at the same time if he wanted to. He continued his thinking as he listened to what she had to say about her father. Tony thought about it and looked at how she was saying it. She was implying something to him directly, he could tell by the way she was talking. He raised a brow a bit going along with it for a little, "could we contact this father of yours in anyway". Tony got the hint slightly but didn't fully believe it himself. How could he have a daughter that he wasn't even fully aware of. But he pondered on the thought a bit, could he..actually be a father? It wasn't out of the realm of possibility, but how? when?

Abby got the feeling that he had caught on her trail, but it didn’t matter. If what her mother kept telling her about her father was true, he would have figured it out anyway. She held the thumb drive to her chest as if it were a lifeline, and if he were to look closer he would have found it to be placed in the same location as his chest plate. One might call it eerie, but it might happen when the two of them share blood. She had noticed out of the corner of her eye that the police had taken on the role of crowd control, and knew that if they didn’t get out of there the crowd would break past them and start ask questions.
"could we contact this father of yours in anyway"
She took a deep breath and eyed the crowd once again. They were doing their best to get to the two of them. ”Okay. Mr. Stark, may I live with you?” She finally blurted out. Then as if she knew he was going to ask for proof, she held out the thumb drive again. ”I also managed to acquire a digital copy of my birth certificate. And if you still need proof, I will submit to a paternal DNA test.” She explained and wirily eyed the ever aggressing crowd across the street.

Tony blinked a bit hearing the increasing roars of the crowd behind him, he didn't have to turn around to see the reports flashing there cameras. His head grew of thoughts of what to do, if they didn't get away they would be up to there heads in questions in which they didn't need at the time. And if they left well, the obvious would be implied that she was his daughter and there would be a huge commotion about it. He didn't know whether to be happy about it or be confused by it. Tony looked at Abigail who was holding the USB drive in the same exact location as his arch reactor was. He didn't know if she was playing mind games, or she actually didn't mean to do that on purpose. Either way it got the reporters riled up that they weren't catching the story from where they were. He looked at her as she simply blurted out that if she could live with him, continuing saying that she was his daughter. But before he could say if she had any proof to that she presented the USB again. He blinked and smirked a bit, "Don't tell me the file I didn't take in was the birth". He chuckled a bit, "You know your family has some real great timing with the news you know" he stated to her. Jarvis then initiated, a facial scan to see if she had any of his traits. And what do you know they did, similar eye lining and oddly enough close brainwave activity. Tony didn't want to admit it, but the data doesn't lie. She was his daughter, and unknown daughter at that. "Your my daughter huh? what are we in a classical 80's?" he questioned shaking his head. Tony decided that he would question it later, right now they had to get away from the screaming press. He grabbed a hold of her, "Hold your breath, the take off usually takes the breath out of you". As he stated what he had to he flew off quickly. [thread end]
