Faith ran, and she ran hard. She had to escape or they would end up taking her back to the place that she had grown up in. She knew the punishment for her escape would not be a pretty one. She ran through the streets, and passed others as she ran. She ignored the looks that she was given as she did so. She had messed up, and messed up big time. She knew she should have moved, but she was so sure that she had the trail of her father. That is what kept her from thinking straight. She looked over her shoulder to see the one who was after round the corner she had just went around. She decided to try another tactic and turned into the nearest alleyway. Snikt. She extended her claws and climbed the nearest building without using the fire escape. It only slowed her down.
She reached the roof in no time, and managed to pull herself over the edge just before the government tracker rounded the corner. She watched him carefully as he slowly walked along the alleyway looking for her among the trash bins and such. She only relaxed when he rounded the corner at the other end of the alley. Snikt. She retracted her claws, and sniffed the air. She wasn’t alone on this roof. ”Sorry. I didn’t know that someone was already here.” She apologized without looking for them. Instead, she backed up in preparation for a running start. Her plan; to jump to the roof of the building across the alley.

What a fine night to be out. Well, to be more exact, resting. Derek had had a long week and it was finally time for him to get rest. Every weekend he would go to the roof top of the abandoned building to rest up. Tonight so happened to be really cold, so he came prepared wearing a thick dark green long coat with a hooded sweater underneath that. He also had a scarf covering his mouth to prevent him from accidently releasing more viruses then he was already let free into the air. He slept for what felt like an eternity, but was actually around 4 hours, before suddenly waking up. Something was wrong. Derek’s viruses had entered into the system of an intruder. But oddly enough they seemed to have no effect on this unknown person. Mutant most likely.
Derek got up and began to restrain is ability once more. Four hours of sleep this week. It wasn’t that bad but Derek wished he could have gotten more. Derek then placed his leather gloves on. He was pretty much covered top to bottom. The only thing that wasn’t covered by some article of clothing was his eyes. He walked quietly but suddenly to the intruder.

Before she could even get started, her nose picked up the smell of someone sickly. But it just wasn’t like a human sickly, but more like a mutant who used viruses and diseases somehow as s power and a defense. She had felt the microscopic intruders enter her system, but her accelerated healing negated their effect on her. Her ears had heard whoever it was approach her, trying to be stealthy about it. Whoever it was might have succeeded if they were approaching someone who didn’t have heightened senses. She turned just in time to see someone bundled up in clothes that fit the cold weather. Only their eyes were showing, and she felt somehow stupid.
Now that Faith thought about it, those looks could have been because she was wearing a tank top shirt that looked similar to a wife beater style, and a pair of shorts. It was what she wore when she slept, and the cold didn’t seem to bother her. She of coarse was barefooted, and she now seemed to be a bit underdressed in this meeting. ”Look. I said I was sorry. I didn’t know anyone was here already. I’m about leave to find another place to hide out.” She reinstated as she watched the figure approach her. She wasn’t frightened or anything like that. She could take care of herself, but she needed to leave quickly before that tracker found out that she scaled the wall.

“I said move!” said the stranger. The moment he finished Derek quickly turned around at grabbed him his captor’s neck. The moment that happened, his fate was seals. The man tried to pull the trigger to his gun but was too weak to do so. The man didn’t even have the power to say anything. A weakling this man was. Derek had the man’s life in the palm of his hands within a few minutes. Bur Derek was no killer. Not anymore at least. The man dropped to the floor painting. Derek didn’t give the man the killer dose of his virus. But he will indeed by feeling it for the next few days.
He then looked back at the girl. “Like I said, it isn’t proper attire to dress like that. Here,” he said as he took off his long green coat and threw it to her. Derek had to help her escape. She was a mutant on the run. Much like Derek before he found the mansion. He pulled his scarf down to reveal his face. Soon afterwards his eyes turned back to normal. Follow me. If we move with caution and with stealth we should get you to safety just fine. Derek was going to take her back to the mansion. He knew that place to be a safe haven for their kind.

Faith watched with a raised eyebrow as the bundled figure took care of the armed man, who fell with a virus infection. She sniffed the air and knew that the man would be quite alright, but will be sick as a dog for a few days. Her response to the armed man was a totally different story, as she had unsheathed her claws in a pure defensive move. The gunshot wouldn’t have hurt her unless… She sniffed the air again… Her hunch was right. Adamantium bullets. The one thing that can do some damage to her. Still she would go down fighting, as that was what she was built and trained for.
”Like I said, it isn’t proper attire to dress like that. Here, … Follow me. If we move with caution and with stealth we should get you to safety just fine.”
She turned her attention to the bundled figure just in time for him to take off his long green coat. Snikt. She sheathed her claws as soon as he tossed it to her, and she caught it effortlessly. She didn’t need to be told twice about her dress. She threw the offered piece of clothing on to make herself look more normal for this part of the city. Her head snapped up when the boy offered to take her to safety. Did a place like that really existed for her? She had to know. ”Where is this safe haven? Does it truly exist? How can it exist?” She asked, but she was already moving toward so quietly that if he wasn’t looking at her, he wouldn’t have known she was approaching him.

Baptiste walks the city streets following the scent. Hmm never knew this scent would smell so familiar when they assigned me this. He stops and takes his shades off and takes a deep sniff of the air. He can tell the scent is coming down wind. Looking around he tries to determine where exactly its coming from.
"Come out, come out whereever you are? He says to himself but knowing if the info was correct on the person he was tracking along with the scent he was picking up, she could hear him.
He continued to walk on, looking through the alleys. The wind picked up and then he realized that the scent was coming from above. Hmmm, smart move. Take the high ground so you can see whats coming before it comes for you. Gotta do this smart. See most likely has my scent, if I have hers. Back up should be coming. Walking forward again with the wind picking up he stop agains. Seems there may be another strong mutant with her, got to take caution with this.
Looking down at his dress shoes, he realizes that might get ruined if he has to climb a building. He holds his position to wait for his back up.

Yet another mission in District X thought Ken as he suddenly appeared in the streets of District X. According to his superiors, some mutants escaped from their custody and X-24 was hunting her down and since this was a urgent matter, they told him to ask X-24 for the details of the target. X-24 should be 20 yards to your left said a voice was his ear piece cell phone. Ken would the teleport again and suddenly appeared next to X-24,
"Our superiors didn't have time to explain the capabilities of our target and told me that you knew them. Is there anything I should know before we make our move" asked Ken as he started to take his gloves off.

Derek took a deep breath. Derek was fully charged and ready. He was indeed lucky that he had some sleep before these events took place. “There are many mutants in this district, most unfortunate souls. However, only a few know of undergrounds. That is few know how to navigate it,” he said softly as they made their way down the building. When he reached to the first floor of the building, he immediately made his way to the back of the building. He then found the closest manhole. It was not the most fashionably exit strategy but it did its job knocking most of the smellers off. Once Derek pulled the lid off, the immediately the smell of putrid toxins shot up Derek’s nose. You’d think he would be used that sense the first time round. That’s right; Derek had used this route before. Why? He has yet to divulge those secrets even to the Professor just yet.
As he descended the ladder the sounds of rates can be heard along with a few ruffling noises, most likely Morlock patrol. Lucky for him he was in good standings with the Morlocks. On occasions Derek would be called down to the sewers to cure any sick mutants. The sewers were never a place for one to live in. Once his foot touched the gold stone floor, Derek knew that they are yet to be in the clear. Hopefully they can get through this incident without any more violence.

As Faith waited on the guy’s answer, her ears had picked something up from the alleyway behind her. She could hear footsteps of someone large and heavy walking in dress shoes. Her nose sniffed the air and she picked up government stench with her scent. So she either knew it was X23 or X24 that was after her. Either one was not a good sign. If she could sniff them, then they definitely could sniff her. She was glad that she had the coat on already as it masked some of her scent, but she knew that it didn’t do it well enough. Before she knew it, another one with government smell all over them arrived. She listened to the short standard conversation. So they were after her.
”There are many mutants in this district, most unfortunate souls. However, only a few know of undergrounds. That is few know how to navigate it.”
She didn’t need to be told twice, and was actually glad that he knew a way out. One that didn’t have them crossing her pursuers’ path. We they came to a manhole, he pulled off the lid and she staggered back a bit from the rancid assault on her nose. It nearly drove her to run in the other direction, but it would have put her right into the hands of the ones after her. She steeled herself, and climbed down right behind him. She made sure she placed the manhole cover back over her head. The one good thing about this overwhelming putrid smell is that it masks her scent really, really well. ”So where are we going ? And I do believe we have lost my tail, at least for the time being.” She asked after a short walk through the sewers behind her new acquaintance.

Baptiste notices a change in the air as Ken teleports next to him. As soon as he teleports in, he asks for a quick briefing. "Seems that there might be an another offspring of Weapon X. They want us to intercept her and bring her back to see if her mutation evolved from his or if its the same. We gotta be careful cause she knows were coming. Treat this as if we were after the real thing."
He begins to head down an alley that the scent trail lends him to with Ken following. He turns a corner and begins to smell a very putrid smell. Looking he sees a manhole cover unsealed. He crouches down and looks into the inside. He takes a sniff and cringes. "I can barely pick up her smell now. This smell is repulsive. We must try to intercept her before she gets to Xavier cause I know that's where she may go. What do you think the plan of action should be?"

This is going to be annoying. I won't be able to incapacitate her with a bullet wound or a small cut with my katana. And to make matters worse, she has more powers I can absorb at once, so it's going to be very painful if I try to absorb her abilities thought Ken after getting briefing from X-24. He would then follow Baptiste to an uncovered manhole which made Ken assume that their target was down there. Baptiste would then tell him that it was going to be difficult to track her by scent due to the repulsive smell in the sewer.
"We're going to have to go down there and look for her. Once we find her, I'll try to knock her out with my power absorption ability" explained Ken without even taking a second to think of a plan. It was something he thought of once he heard about Weapon X and all of the offspring that were created to mimic it.

Derek looked at the young lady. “We simply wait.” He responded with confidence. It was true, never navigate the sewers of this city without a map and light. In which neither had none. So the second best choice, besides wandering aimlessly, was to wait. Soon enough the ruffling noises grew louder and Derek knew their presence had been taken noted of.
“Who are you?” asked a frail voice.
“It’s me Derek. I require aid for passage to the mansion.” He said. The voice then gave a small grunt and asked Derek and the young girl to follow. It was dim, but the frail voice mutant light up a small lantern. It didn’t show his whole body but it seemed to take the form of a reptile like mutant. Derek followed the mutant closely. They were in good hands now. The Morlocks have the sewer tunnels memorized so never will they get lost. They moved in a steady pace. Not to fast that will draw suspicions by making noise and not to slow where anyone tailing them could catch them.
As they followed Derek said “So tell me, why were you running from them? I can only help you so much blindly.”

Faith could still the conversation taking place at the manhole cover, and she surely didn’t want them to find her. Especially the one that can absorb her powers. There were enough people out there that can do what she can, and one of them was on her tail. Somehow the other one will have no trouble climbing into this sewer and chase her down. Well, at least she knew that she can hide in the shadow here and clearly see whoever approaches her position.
”So tell me, why were you running form them? I can only help you so much blindly.”
Her new friend asked her after a reptilian like mutant began to led them through the sewers to a mansion. She looked to the guy, not really needing to see in the light and saw that he was genuinely curious and wanting to help her. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes briefly. ”I am property of a clandestine department of the government. I escaped looking for my father, and they sent one of his clones with someone else after me to prevent me from reaching him.” She told him, truthfully. He didn’t need to know everything else about her and that was what was the most important at the moment. If they got to where ever he was taking her, then she may tell him more…

Baptiste nods at Ken's plan, what he doesn't is while he was under his watch, he had sabotaged some of her restraining equipment and security. He was just as determined to find Logan just as she was. Just he was letting her do all the work. He might have to slow his partner down a little til she got to where she was heading.
He stands up and still looking down into the sewer, speaks to Ken. "When we catch up to her, I'll get her distracted for you to close in on her." Without mentioning the fact that she was having help along the way. He steps forward and drops down into the sewers, landing in a crouch. He quickly looks around surveying his surroundings. "All clear down here." His predatory eyes picking up everything, the rats, sewage, etc.
He tries to listen to figured out which way they went with out smelling the stench. The sounds where coming from everywhere as they bouncing off the sewer pipes and down the tunnels. Baptiste sighs as he takes a whiff of the air, grimacing at the smell. He picks up the scent slightly. "Think I may have something. Might have to follow the impression on the walkways more then smell though."

Ken nodded in agreement after Baptiste told him that he was going to distract her. Baptiste would then jump into the sewer and Ken suddenly appeared next to him after Baptiste landed. Shortly after Ken appeared in the sewer, he held his nose in disgust from the sewer's strong odder and hoped that his clothes didn't smell like this place once he got out.
"Well do you at least know what general direction she's headed in?" asked Ken after Baptiste told him that he needed to rely more than just their target's scent.
