“Running from the government I see?” Derek responded. This was a story that he had heard of before, always on the run always on the move. “I too was in the same situation as you. When I was younger, I ran from… people as well,” As they continued their way down through the sewers, the Morlock turned to Derek and gave a small bow before vanishing.
“We are at the half way point. We are on our own now.” Derek said calmly. Now they were in Dereks area of familiarity, he could use these parts of the sewers to his advantage. There he heard a small echoing noise not to far from them. We should move quickly, we are not alone. Morlocks don’t make that much of a ruckus down here. Derek’s pace increases as he said this. Derek could only hope that this would not cause trouble for the professor.

Baptiste crouches on the ground and studies it. Noticing that the waste on the walkway had impression in them from walking. There were alot of foot prints, but he knew the ones he was looking for. He spotted the imprints of Faith's shoes. He followed them to see the direction they were going.
"Well do you at least know what general direction she's headed in?"
He stands back up and looks in the direction that the tracks were going in. "Yea, her imprints are in the ground. Just got to be careful cause it seems us and them aren't the only ones down here. Let's get moving before they make more ground. Head to the end of the tunnel and see if you spot them." He begins to head to the to the next turn, making sure he keeps a look out for in direction change with Faith's footsteps.

Venom back at the Weapon X compound he heard reports of Faith being a run away. He also heard the reports of Baptiste and Ken some of the other Weapon X members chasing her. Venom got up from his chair that he was sitting down on and looked at the comm. He started to think about whether or not to chase her but then thought up of something. He had to tell her about her mother, and that she actually might be alive but still in the hands of this damn program. Venom wondered what and if she even cared but he had to tell her. He had to tell her the women he loved was her birth mother and she might be alive if she wanted to help her save her with him.
As he got up his mouth on the suit started to show slightly but disappeared and went back to normal. He wasn't going to let his anger get the better of him. Not now not when he had to stay focused to be able to get to Faith without the rest knowing. Venom then started to walk out the compound walking among the shadows and staying silent. Finally getting out of the compound he ran towards the city as fast as he could hiding with in the shadows.
As he finally reached the city, he followed the reports of where Faith was and where the others happened to chase her. He looked around finally coming to an ally way where there was a manhole open. As he jumped in he wall crawled on the ceiling and hid with in the darkness of the sewer, staying quite. Venom quickly wall crawled along the dark corners of the sewer. As he made some twist and turns he caught up to Faith who seemed to be talking to a man. He stood in the shadows hearing there conversation as he slowly wall crawled out of the shadows and lowered down through webbing upside down.

Faith could hear them come after her, and she looked to Derek. She was going to have to lead them away from him. She took off the borrowed coat and handed it back to him. ”Thanks for the use of your coat, but I truly don’t need it right now. You better go or they will take you as well.” She told him with a small, sad smile. ”I’ll find my way to this mansion you spoke of. If you say it is safe, then I believe you.” She added to him and then looked up. She had seen Venom approach, but she knew it was him when she heard his heartbeat. ”Hello, Venom. Need anything?” She greeted him and wondered what was up, and why he was there.
She didn’t wait for an answer before slowly and carefully retreating into a nearby shadow. She was going to ambush those who were sent after her, and then take care of Baptiste. She had heard his voice earlier, and knew he was one of the ones after her. She would have a surprise for this teleporter as she doesn’t plan on going to the end of the tunnel, as she was sure that was where he would station himself… She clenched her fists when she was emerged in the shadow, and extended her claws. She was ready for a fight.

"We'll worry about the others once we get the girl. I think we should approach her from both directions said Ken after Baptiste told him to go to the other side of the tunnel. Ken would then teleport to the other side of the tunnel and his left foot landed in some smelly, green sticky goo. Ken would fling the slime off with a simple kick. Ken would then proceed to walk though the sewers with both of his ungloved hands right in front of him. As Ken continued walking, he though he heard voices and headed towards that particular direction.
When Ken got to what he though was the source, he started to look around as he passed one of the shadows Faith was hiding in....

Derek gave a small nod. He turned to the morlock who seemed anxious to leave. He must have been sensing the danger. “You know, there are others like you that escape from a government facility at the mansion. One in peticular you may or may not know. His name is Logan. In any event, I hope you find you way.” Derek said softly grabbing the coat back. The morlock then placed its hand on Derek’s shoulder and they both phased through the wall.

Venom looked to both Faith and the guy that she was with, plus the morlock that was helping them. It seemed like she was getting along just fine, it was just the fact that Weapon X was chasing her now. Well then again it will always chase her no matter where she went. But as long as he was alive he would protect the last bit of the women he loved. Though the women might still be alive somewhere and hopefully isn't to hurt, but knowing Weapon X she might be. Venom then started to wall crawl towards the shadow that Faith was hiding. He wall crawled lower towards her ear so he didn't have to speak whisper loudly.
"Your mother might still be alive somewhere within the Weapon X facility. I found this out a day ago and thought I should tell you I will find her and get her out". That's he had to tell her but now he had another problem they were going to try and take her back. And Venom wasn't going to let that happen. He looked around and wondered what he could do to even the odds between them and her. And with in the the darkness he shot out webs towards the eyes to try and blind who ever was after her so Faith could run. Then after his deed to help her he then disappeared within the darkness without a sound.

Faith watched as Derek took back his coat and told her of the location of her father. She knew she was on the right track as her new friend and the other mutant disappeared through the wall near her. Next thing she knew was that the teleporter was walking blindingly past her shadowed hiding spot. She reached out and swiftly sliced him across his back before quietly and quickly changing shadows so that he wouldn’t attack her back.

The news that Venom had just told had her blood boiling. Not only did they lie to her, her mother was still alive and trapped with the same people that made her! She lost all sense of humanity at that moment, and roared out like a wild animal. She didn’t even see Venom attempt to help her by blinding them. Instead she just leapt out of her shadow and charged whoever was in her way. She will rip them to shreds, and nothing will stop her.

Baptiste was just stepping around the corner as he saw Ken get hit. He then saw Faith coming towards him claws out. He brought his forearms claws out to defend himself. He also noticed that she was in her rage mode. What could of pushed her to this point. I'm normally the only one who can do that. He jumps back taking a defensive stance in the small tunnels. He noticed that she wont be able to jump above him with out him getting a hold of her in this height.
He hoped Ken wasn't cut to deep. He needed him back in action, so he could knock her out. Baptiste knew if he tried, he may end up killing her. He didn't want to try explaining that to mother.

As Ken continued walking, a sticky black substance was suddenly short into his eyes and Ken tried to take it off as fast as possible. However, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his back causing him to fall to the ground. Once he fell, the cut on Ken's back quickly healed itself thanks to his accelerated healing ability. Ken would then quickly get up and managed to get the sticky substance out of his eyes only to see Faith heading right towards him looking very furious.
Time to make my move though Ken as he brought up his right arm with his hand appearing to reach out to something. Then Ken would suddenly appear in front of the charging Faith with his hand a mere fractions of an inch away from her neck as he attempted to grab it. If he did grab her by the neck, he would clench his teeth in pain as he began to absorb Faith's powers.

Venom looked to the events happening before his eyes and he looked around to see the best way to handle it. He of course couldn't let the rest of Weapon X know he was there. And if he was he knew he would get some punishment later one. So he stuck to the shadows as he looked for the best moment to strike. Venom then started to wall crawl up into the ceiling quietly as he stayed hidden well. He had to think of something quick, before Faith became out numbered. Looking behind him he noticed that Baptiste was showing up quickly. He then again shot out his webbing towards Baptiste eyes hoping to blind him.
Before they could see where the shot came from he again disappeared to a whole knew shadow. He watched as the battle went on and still was waiting for his moment to strike.

Faith saw not red, but blood red. Baptiste’s and his partner’s blood. She landed right in the middle of the tunnel roaring her anger out at the world around her. She looked wild and eyed the two men who were not in the shadows around her. She could see perfectly in the dim to no light. Her eyes locked with Baptiste and she snarled angrily. She knew deep down that she had just gotten herself cornered, but she wouldn’t let them take her back.
She then charged her tormentor of the last sixteen years, and roared again. She couldn’t jump over him, so she was going to have to go through him. She rushed him like an angry bull with her claws in front of her hoping to feel them tear his flesh and his blood on her hands once again. She could hear Venom’s heartbeat as he crawled around, but she knew he wasn’t to blame for her mother. The two that were sent after was. She didn’t see the webbing be shot again toward Baptiste as she neared him.
However, she felt the slight air disturbance and dodged the hand reaching out for her neck. Instead, she brought up her foot and kicked him as hard as she could. She could kick pretty hard, and that was before the adamantium skeleton. She knew she could dent steel with her hits now, and then as if she saw her escape she took it. She slashed at Baptiste’s eyes with her claws hoping to hinder him from following her, and then took off down toward the other end of the tunnel.
Faith’s animal instinct knew that if she continued to fight in that small tunnel with her pursuers she was sure to get caught. That was not in her plans, and her survival won over her need to maim them. She hoped that she had gotten her message across that she will not go back…

Baptiste didn't see the black webbing come cause it was so dark. It rendered the only since that was working for him useless. He barely had time to get the webbing off of him, when he realized Faith was already on him. She slashed his eyes open, and made Baptiste roar in pain. She cut the webbing away and but left him temporary blind while his eyes healed back. He yelled to Ken, "Go after her. The mutt cut my eyes." He was already beginning to see but needed an excuse to get Ken away.
He knew only one person that could use black webbing like that and he wanted a word with that person.

The second the hand missed, Ken teleported behind her in order to avoid her powerful kick. Faith would cut Baptiste's eyes with her metal claws for he too was blinding by the same black web substance that temporary blinded him before running away. Oh no you don't thought Ken as he suddenly appeared in front of her mid air and threw two kicks at her chest before teleporting behind her to throw a kick at the back of her left knee in an attempt to make her fall to the ground.

Venom kept on sticking to the shadows of the sewers tunnels keeping quite, trying to make sure no one heard him. He watched the scuffle happen between Faith, Ken, and Baptiste. Faith seem to blind him, but knowing his healing factor he knew it wasn't for long. He then told Ken to go after Faith as she blinded him and of course Ken followed. Venom knew it was a trick seeing as by now his healing factor must have kicked in already and healed his eyes. Baptiste knew he was here, it didn't bother him, it just meant that he had to go. He kept to the shadows as he looked for a way out of the sewers with little noise.
