Faith kept her temper tightly under her control, but if she moved she would have no choice but to destroy something. As long as she isn’t provoked and stood perfectly still, everything should be just fine. Her nose had of course picked up the scent of insult and she grounded her teeth even further. Great, she had insulted him and in her experience they only tended to push their luck when that happened. And when they pushed their luck, it only served to provoke her in to action. She did not want this guy to be mauled and maimed by her. What a great first impression, right?
”Look. I am not trying to anger you, if you wanna leave you are more than welcome to, but I am gonna stay here and swim like I had been before you turned up.”
She snarled involuntarily, as it seemed he did not understand the potential danger he was in. She was suddenly reminded after one of those horrible and painful experiments where she was huddled in the corner while those scientists approached her wanting to do more horrible and painful things to her. ”I don’t know what your brother told you about my father, but I do not have the same control as him. It has nothing to do with you, or anyone else for that matter. It was the way I was raised… Not a place you would want a child to grow up in.” She explained to him as she flexed her wrist and then ended up leaving three slashes in the tiles near her. She wasn’t about to tell him where she grew up, and if she did she didn’t know if she could stop herself from lashing out at him or something else.

Alex felt his heart go out to her at this point, she didn’t look older than her mid to late teens, that meant that she would have had a pretty crappy young childhood, not that he blamed her about that it was just surprising how she seemed to be in control but twice as deadly as other people around them.
“That’s fine.” He said with a smile and a wink “I dunno what if you have heard about me but I am more than capable of looking after myself.”

Faith continued to breath deeply as she attempted to regain control of herself. She didn’t even know if her father would know what was going on with her at that time. It was all she could do to keep herself from lashing out with her claws again and attacking the guy in the pool with her. She then quickly ducked under the water, hoping the cold splash will knock her out of it. When she resurfaced, the guy was talking to her again.
”That’s fine. I dunno what if you have heard about me but I am more than capable of looking after myself.”
She took another deep breath just for good measure of making sure she was calm enough to continue this conversation. ”I haven’t heard nothing of you, and you maybe capable of looking after yourself. However, I doubt you have ran into anyone like me. Let me put it this way, I’m more dangerous than a shark on feeding frenzy.” She told him, and dove under the water only to sink to the bottom. She could easily stand up, but she wanted to see how long she could stay down there before needing to surface. Well, not true. She just needed to let the ice cold water shake her out of her feral mood that she suddenly got in upon thinking about her childhood and the facility.
