Some times a plant needs TLC (havoc)

Xavier was on his hands and knees, he enjoyed looking after some of the plants it helped him think. every thing was changing so fast. More and more students were coming each day Eric was here to but the question was how long would he stay? He had regretted letting cable teach the danger room sessions some of teh children had been hurt. Granted all of them were wanting to be x men would have to deal with worse in the the long run. Still it broke his hart knowing his children were turning in to fighters.

Moria had returned and that had made every thing more complex. He needed to take a step back and think and planting some flowers was probably the best way to do it. it was simple just like his dream on the surface but every thing was changing the question was, was it for the best. He sensed some one close by. he did not want to push in to there minds but they seamed worried. Slowly he got up and brushed him self down.
He turned around it was Alex, Scott's younger brother.

"hello Alex how are you?"

Alex was in a weird mood, sure he loved being around the school however at the same time it frustrated him that it was a school, he hadn’t seen anything other than the fact it was a school in the whole time he had been here, of course it was a mutant school so there was the danger room and such, however it just seemed like there wasn’t anything for him to do in that sense, not that he hadn’t tried, he had been flirting with some of the girls. Xmen and brotherhood alike but there was just something about the school that was different to how he had been expecting.

As he walked around the grounds he had to admit the school was impressive, just Alex felt that there was nothing for him to do around the school some days, not that there was a problem with that, just it was a little frustrating for the young mutant. As he looked around the grounds he could see that Charles was tending to the plants.

"hello Alex how are you?" he asked

“I am ok,” he said “creeped out by the fact you telepaths can tell when people are around from a bit of a distance but ok.”

Xavier laughed, "yes it can be trouble some Most of us will not push in to your mind with out your consent and we can also help build up defenses agents those who do not have the morals the rest of us do. Are you positive you are ok, you do not sound it?"

Xavier could tell by his tone that some thing was bothering him. He did not like the idea of any of the students having problems but how they dealt with them was as important of any lesson. "My door is always open for any of the students."

Alex knew that Charles wasn’t going to push him to talk buy at the same time that didn’t mean that he was just going to open up and just tell him everything, after all he didn’t know the man that well, he had only come to the school because of Scott, therefore he was finding it a little hard to trust other people. However he got the feeling that he would be able to trust people more the more that he had been staying at the school, he wasn’t sure if he had wanted that to be the case but he figured that it wouldn’t hurt to try.

“I am just not sure what I am doing here,” he said he knew that he did not know what he would have been getting out of telling Charles but at the same time, he figured that telling Charles. “I mean this seems only to be a school, I truly don’t get the point, of there being training also why have both a school and the training rather than waiting till they are older.”

"Simple the training the young students get is very basic. its to help them control there powers and be able to defend them self. The world is not a nice place if you are a mutant as much as i hate to admit it. The world is becoming a dark place. We have been attacked once so i sleep easier knowing that we are ready.

The x men get more training as they will be the shining beacon that all mutants are not monsters. Well that is the hope at least. This is a school yes but tell me how many schools would take on students like Hank McCoy? he as genital as he is appears to be a monster or knight crawler? Or even some one who can read minds they would never know if they were cheating. We offer what the mutants need a safe place for those who need it and children tend to need protection the most.

We also need to show the world that we are no different that we are as much a part of this world as them. that we can help. That takes education and training one day humans and mutants will live on this earth and the agreshion will stop."

Alex understood what Charles was saying, but at the same time he had wished that there was more of a split between the two, not that he didn’t love the fact that it looked like a school but in fact it was more than that, yet at the same time it looked like it was good for the students that they could spend time being children as well as mutants. Even though Alex didn’t care much for it he got it and understood why it was important that they had that separation between the two.

“I was wondering.” Alex said “if it would be possible for me to .. join the x men despite not
mastering control over my blasts yet.”

"is that what you want? In your hart the only problem is i have handed control of the team over to your brother now and you will have to get the OK from the person who is taking your danger room classes. If you wish to join one of the x men teams you will have to talk to him. You see i am not what the x men need i know that the man to lead them is your brother. I will still be running the school but he has final say on who is on the active team.


I hear that you were in cables class for training how is that going. I have been told his methods are different from what i would of used in his place." True the time traveler was a different style of teacher he did wonder if letting him lose on some of the pupils was the right idea but those who were in his class were hand picked as they had power that needed harnessed sooner than later.
