-Playby name( actor/actress name); John Cena (will change if Admins want Chris Evens)
-Real Name Steven Grant Rogers
-Code Name: Captain America
-Faction: Which group your character belongs to: Marvel Heroes
-Canon or Original; Canon
-Age: 90 years old (But looks in his early 20's)
-Date of Birth: July 4, 1920
-Height: 6' 2"
-Weight: 240lbs
-Physical Description: Rogers is military, and his look and attitute nearly scream that. His hair is kept in a buzz cut, nearly shaven style, his body is all muscle, with no visible body fat to be seen. He can usually be seen in a plain white tee and jeans, though will wear suits or polo shirts and slacks if the occassion calls for it, though he always looks great, in any outfit. He has no scars, and no visible signs that he ever had polio.
-Personality: Rogers is a man of honor, never going back on his word and always doing what he feels is right, no matter who says otherwise. He is the very escence of a gentleman, never turning his back on anyone, and always polite to everyone. He gives everyone the benifit of the doubt, sometimes more than he should, and though he loves being a soldier, he will not abandon his personal Code of Ethics, no matter the cost to himself.
-Powers: The Super-Soldier Serum metabolized and enhanced all of Rogers' bodily functions to the peak of human potential. Dr. Reinstein described this potential as being "the next step in human evolution", while still remaining completely human.
Artificially Enhanced Physiology: Rogers has no superhuman powers, although as a result of the Super-Soldier serum, he was transformed from a frail young man into a "perfect" specimen of human development and conditioning. Rogers is as intelligent, strong, fast, agile, and durable as it is possible for a human being to be without being considered superhuman.
¡Peak Human Strength: Rogers' physical strength was enhanced to the very peak of human potential. As a result, Rogers is as physically strong as a human being can be without being classified as superhuman. Handbooks class him as being capable of lifting up to 800 lbs.
Captain America has been seen bench pressing 500 kg (1,100 lbs) which is consistent with his strength level, as benching is easier than military press lifting.
¡Peak Human Speed: He can run at speeds of up to approximately 30 miles per hour, and has on an occasion run a mile in little over a minute (almost 60 mph) when under duress.
¡Peak Human Stamina: His body eliminates the excessive build-up of fatigue-producing poisons in his muscles, granting him phenomenal endurance. He can exert himself at peak capacity for several hours without rest before showing any signs of fatigue.
¡Peak Human Agility: Rogers' agility is superior to that of any Olympic athlete that had ever competed.
¡Peak Human Reflexes: Rogers' reflexes are superior to that of any Olympic athlete that had ever competed. Like most of his powers, his reflexes border on and are likely at superhuman levels as he has accomplished such feats as dodging a bullet fired at point blank range claiming that he "could see faster than it."
¡Peak Human Durability: Rogers' ability to withstand injury is superior to those of ordinary humans. This explained how he had survived the physical punishment during his career like building falls and explosions.
¡Peak Human Metabolism: His enhanced metabolism allows him to heal from injury or disease faster than most humans. Captain America is subject to all human vulnerabilities, although his immunity to diseases, toxins, or even alcohol poisoning is extraordinary. Rogers has stated he can't get drunk and has never been sick after receiving the SSS.
¡Peak Human Mental Process: Rogers' mental performance have been greatly enhanced, allowing his mind to operate in the most efficient and rapid manner possible. One manifestation of this are his tactical genius; the ability to quickly process multiple information streams (e.g., threat assessment) and rapidly respond to changing tactical situations. Rogers also possesses an edictic memory, meaning that he never forgets anything and has perfect recall. This enables him to remember any military tactic and apply it to any situation.
¡Peak Human Perception: Rogers has exceptionally keen eyesight and hearing, Captain America once stated that he was able to dodge bullets because he "sees faster than them"
-Weaknesses: Rogers is a baseline human, meaning he needs food, oxygen, and water to survive. He will also die if he loses to much blood or a vital organ is damaged.
-Skills: Master Martial Artist: Having trained with such luminaries as William Essart Fairbairn and Rex Applegate, Captain America has mastered multiple martial arts including American-style boxing, Okinawa-te, jujitsu, aikido, judo, and various others which he has either portrayed skill or knowledge in (two of them being pressure point fighting in which he rendered a guard unconscious using a nerve pinch and taijiquan) and combines these disciplines with his acrobatic talents to create his own unique hand-to-hand style of combat. He engages in a daily regimen of rigorous exercise (including aerobics, weight lifting, gymnastics, simulated combat, and even blind fighting) to keep himself in peak condition, and has often defeated opponents whose size, strength, or other powers greatly exceeded his own. Captain America is one of the finest human combatants Earth had ever known.
Master Shield Fighter: Captain America's years of training and experience with his unique shield, as well as its physical properties, allows him to accomplish mind-boggling feats with the item. Aside from bashing foes with it and blocking incoming attacks, Cap is able to throw the shield with nearly perfect aim. He is able to hit multiple targets with the same throw by means of ricochet, and can even achieve a boomerang-like return effect with it, allowing him to strike enemies from behind or retrieve the shield without objects to ricochet from.
Master Tactician and Strategist: Captain America is an accomplished strategist. He has been widely considered one of, if not the greatest tacticians on the planet both on and off the battlefield. He is able to formulate battle strategies and his brilliant tactical sense allows him to just as quickly alter any strategy of plan to fit the need of the situation change. When Scarlet Witch described Captain America as a leader she simply stated "Youfre just the best there is." During the Secret Wars the scientific genius Reed Richards asserted that "No one could have directed their group better then Captain America," as Iron Man and the others agreed. This of course was coming from brilliant tacticians that were Professor Charles Xavire and Reed Richards, who were leading their own teams at this time.
Master Acrobat: Rogers' years of training have made him an expert in the field of acrobatics and gymnastics as well as a stunning aerialist.
Indomitable Will: Rogers is a very strong willed person second to none. He was able to suppress all forms of temptation including physical, mental, and sexual. During the Forever War, he destroyed the Forever Crystal deciding it was too dangerous to exist, despite the number of positive abilities it was capable of such as time traveling which he could have used to alter history to correct his past mistakes. Rogers accepted his own mortality, and refused to rob any sentient creature of its freedom. He was capable of resisting all forms of mind control; only the strongest willed individuals had a chance of enslaving him.
Professional Sketch Artist: Rogers had great artistic skill which he developed from childhood. He often worked as a freelance illustrator and sketch artist even loaning his skills to the NYPD for a time. He enjoyed drawing and did so with any free time.
Expert Marksman: He could throw most if not all projectile weaponry with great aim and was well versed in the use of firearms though he preferred not to use them.
Weapons Proficiency: He did not usually use weapons other than his shield, but in desperate times or situations where he and teammates were outnumbered, he would wield additional weapons to ensure victory. He had used staffs, bludgeons, and was adept with swords . He likely received training with different kinds of weapons during his wartime for undercover infiltration missions in the event of not being able to use his shield.
Multi-lingual: He was fluent in Russian, German, Japanese, Greek (conversation with Hercules), and possibly other languages.
Expert Pilot: He was a phenomenal pilot and was also versed in many if not all Military, SHIELD, or Avengers equipment.
(history and skills taken from Marvel wiki)
-Equipment/Weaponry: Rogers carries several weapons, most widely known is his disked-shaped shield, made from a blend of steel and vibranium that has never been duplicated, and is almost indestructible, having with stood even adamantium weapons. He also carries a utility belt, which he keeps smalles, more mission based gear and weapons, such as flash granades, tear-gas, and other equipment.
- Relatives: Joseph Rogers (father; deceased), Sarah Rogers (mother; deceased). (Leaving door open for any OC children or grand children)
-History: Steve was born in the Redhook section of Brooklyn, NY, in 1920, to parents Joseph and Sarah Rogers, two poor working classed Irish immigrent. His father seved his adopted country during the first World War, and this instilled in young Steve a sense of duty and patriotism for America, as well as a desire to work hard and always do the right thing. After his father's death from years of alcholism, Sarah begain a laundry service for the tenats of their building, which Steve would gladly help her with, after school, since she forbidded him to quit, knowing how important an education was. She strove to raise him as best she could, until she died from pneumonia.
Steve was sent to live with relitives in Manhattan, where he finished highschool and was later accepted to NYU School of Art, but later droped out after one semester, attempting to enlist in the Army, after seeing newsreels of the Nazis' attriosities in Europe. He was deemed unfit for service four times, due to poor health (later to be diagnosed as polio in the '92 movie), but after an officer over heard his pleas, Rogers was placed in the Supersoldier Program, and soon after was chossen to be the third person to recieve the treatment (The first was an black soldier who escaped after the orrigional lab was destroied in an explosion, and the second died of heart failure). The experiment was proven to be a success, as Rogers was tranformed from a frail, sickly youth, to a near perfect speciment, his strength and intellgence growing to near super human levels. However, before anyone else could be given the treatment, a Nazi spy open fire, killing the lead scientist, as well as others in the room, before Rogers was able to get to him and hurl him in to some electrical equipment, killing him.
Knowing he was the only Supersoldier the program would creat, or so everyone thought, Rogers was given the name Captain America, and along with his side-kick Bucky, fought the Nazis both in America and abroad. He also founded the Invaders along side the orrigional Human Torch, Namor, and the orrigional Union Jack. It was also during this time that he would meet the Red Skull and Baron Zemo, as well as Sergen Nick Fury and his Howling Comandos. He would fight Zemo and the Red Skull numerous times, until being captured by Zemo and Hydra, where both he and Bucky were tortured and nearly killed, before escaping and defeating Zemo and his son. However, before the final victory could be won, Zemo launched an experimental drone plane, loaded with powerful explosives, at London. Knowing they couldn't allow Londan to be destroyed, Rogers and Bucky managed to board the plane, but before they could deactivate the bombs, they detonated. The world morned, thinking they had lost two great heroes, until a SHIELD team discovered a body, frozen in a block of ice, in the Artic.
