Sleep didn't come all that easy to Kiden, even when she had her own comfortable room all to herself. That was why she had wondered from the comforts of her nice, clean bed and found her way into what appeared to be the recreation room. She was pleased to see that nobody else was in there though she didn't blame them. Hanging out in the rec room at one in the morning probably wasn't the cool thing to do. She shut the door behind her as she moved into the room, careful not to cause too much noise. The last thing she wanted to do was wake up a professor or something. While getting in a little trouble never bothered her, she really wasn't looking for any tonight.
She made a beeline to the couch and flung herself across it, grinning widely at how comfortable it was. The remote was quickly in her hand and she turned it on, turning the volume down low as soon as it came on. The last person in there had been watching the news and it caused Kiden to scoff. The news was way too depressing to watch now days and she much preferred cartoons. Childish it was but so was sucking on the pacifier that hung around her neck. Kiden changed the channel to Cartoon Network, thankful that there were some cartoons on. And it was a classic. Tom and Jerry. It didn't get much better than that as Kiden layed on the couch and watched the kids show intently.

Laura had found it hard to sleep tonight, she kept getting plagued by nightmares. She killed her mother over and over again in her dreams so with the bad dreams gone while she was awake she went for a walk and wandered towards the second floor. As she was there a scent caught her attention, "Kiden?" She asked herself as she turned and walked straight for the Rec Room, she got to the door it was closed. She smiled to herself and slowly opened the door, she looked in and saw that indeed it was Kiden.
"Kiden? What are you doing here?" She asked the other girl, she had known while under Zebra Daddy's 'care' as he'd called it. She smiled as she walked closer she knew this person and Kiden knew her. This was great! The pair would get to talk again, though the cartoons through her for a loop. "Why cartoons Kiden?" She asked pointing at the T.V. she never did understand why someone wanted to watch cartoons.
