Riley had walked through the park, sunglasses covering her chocolate brown eyes. She had her eyes closed as she walked through the park, using vibrations in the ground to move around, sensing where benches, rocks, and lamp posts were. She held in her hand a sketch book and a pencil. A black bag had hung over her left shoulder. Riley also had on a pair of blue skinny jeans, a plaid purple, gray and black collared shirt with a black tank top underneath. She also had on a pair of purple converse on her feet. Riley’s hair was down, and perfect locks stuck at the bottom of her hair.
Riley paused a moment and opened her eyes. She was able to see the blurs around her and she sighed. The brunette closed them once more. It was much easier to sense things with her eyes closed. With them open, it was just too distracting. Riley walked over to a bench and she sat down. She pulled out her sketch book and opened to a blank page, feeling for dents in the pages from her pencils. Riley had picked up her pencil and she started drawing the scenery in front of her. She was able to feel the objects, which was all she needed to draw.
Riley had put her pencil down and she just stared off into space, well with her eyes closed anyway. She was lost in thought, wondering when she would see her father again, or go back to Romania with Kaitlyn who was her eyes when she needed her most. Riley still lived with them, her cousins. She knew that would soon change since Natalie, her oldest cousin, was getting married.
Riley opened her eyes and took off her sunglasses. Riley looked around at the blurs that she wished she could see everything clearly.
