FIRST POST
It had been a bit of a trip to get back to the New York area. Pyro had tried to keep out of sight as much as possible because he assumed he might still be wanted as a terrorist. Though he couldn't be sure. Apparently he was officially 'missing' - at least that's what he had read in the papers and online when he tried to piece together what had happened at the battle at Alcatraz.
They had lost. They had fucking lost. He was prepared for it when he woke up on a park bench in San Francisco very early in the morning, after the battle. If they had won, Magneto would have taken him back... somewhere. Still, if they had lost, why wasn't he in custody? Or in an X-Men dungeon? All he remembered was Drake turning into ice, pure ice, then a huge crash, then nothing. Soon he found out that the army and the X-Men had beaten the Brotherhood, that 'terrorist leader' Magneto had been 'cured' but somehow still had managed to get away in the chaos of the battle. The only little piece of good news in the whole fucking disaster. Magneto cured... Pyro couldn't believe it. And the X-Men were celebrated as heroes, damn them! Without those traitors they would have taken that cure lab down easily.
For a few days he had wandered aimlessly through the city, trying to figure out what to do, trying to keep out of sight. Always darting into back alleys when he saw police cars or officers approaching. Finally he decided he needed to find the remains of the Brotherhood, needed to find Magneto, see for himself if it was true. So he stole a car and started driving, crossing the whole country, changing cars regularly, staying in cheap motels, sometimes sleeping in the car. Til he finally reached New York. There he was listening around, trying to find out more about the whereabouts of the Brotherhood. Mostly, there were only rumors, absurd rumors sometimes. But then, yesterday night, he had come across soneone who seemed to know more and decided to check it out.
So there he was. He had been sneaking through some grounds and finally found a way into a cavernous complex that seemed largely empty but had some dim lights on. Carefully he moved forward, the flamethrower on his right hand ready to ignite, just in case...

Magneto was im his lair that had been closed for an entire year, the last crusade had lasted more than six months and now after he was regaining his powers bit by bit, Erik returned to his lair carved in stone. He could get there thanks to a car he could get, he had the money hid in Swiss banks, the money he had been able to obtain for many years for hazardous work that he offered to perform.Could say that Erik had his savings could live with them throughout his life. During his confinement in the plastic prison, their bank accounts so were frozen but thanks to Mystique computer skills, he could have saved all the money and put at his disposal.
Magneto entered the secret entrance of the mountain, everything was as he left it last time, still had power even to illuminate dimly the corridors carved in stone. Magneto walked down those roads wet, metal minerals embedded in rock that had produced in him a slight tingling sensation that ran through his body. He knew the way to his chamber, the doors were closed and he alone was enough movement of his hand so they are open before him, showed his great camera susy. Erik smiled as he thought that his powers were growing every day but even he was weak. He went into his chamber where he remembered there had all his personal belongings, all your clothes, his bed, his memories ... It was time to wake up again and wake up his Brotherhood. He gradually to become the mutant who was in the depths but it had a shred of remorse for what had happened. He who had seen his friend die before his eyes, he had not been able to do anything to help him because he was imprisoned by the power of Phoenix.
Erik had entered his office, cold, carved in the rock, its metal table, large, clean, with that metal ball game that became a hit each other when he had arrived there. A layer of dust covered the table. The twenty plasma TVs that was embedded in the stone is turned on and could hear the news on CNN that talked about the failure of the Cure. Magneto with a hand gesture moved the chair to sit but he heard a noise made to look toward where the sound proceeded, he saw a flame in the darkness. Erik smiled, recognizing that figure. He reached forward and flew zippo to fall into the his own. "Welcome back, John." Erik's voice echoed through the cave again hoping to see one of its most loyal members.

Pyro tried to sneak around as quietly as possible but he stopped in his tracks when he thought he heard some noises from straight ahead. Also, those hallways got darker and darker. This still could be a trap... The fire mutant didn't know this place because Magneto had abandoned it before Pyro even joined the Brotherhood. Finally he decided he needed more light. Plus, having a flame already burning couldn't hurt if he had to fight after all.
Instead of using the flamethrower in his hand, because that would make too big of a fire, he grabbed a small lighter in his pocket and flicked it open. A small, flickering flame showed him a bit more of his surroundings. Not that there was much to see. Big rocks mainly. Again he heard a noise in front of him but before he could decide what to do about that, the lighter suddenly flew forward into the darkness. With amazing speed, he ignited the flamethrower in his hand but froze immediately when he heard the voice. A voice he would have recognized anywhere. So, this wasn't a trap after all. A relieved smile appeared on his face and he walked forwards, quickly now.
Another turn and he stood in front of a large opening and saw the source of the voice, sitting in a room full of metal. "I knew it was all lies, fucking newspapers!" Pyro walked into the office. He was genuinely pleased to see the old man and it showed. And the fact that he had taken his zippo away, meant obviously that he hadn't lost his powers at all. Then he noticed the dust, the TV's where they were talking about the cure and of course the emptiness of it all. Maybe not all had been lies? "What happened? I..." He had failed. Yeah, failed to take down Drake. Which probably was one reason they had lost. "I woke up, the next day, on a park bench in the city. No idea how and why..."

"The cure has been a failure. All homos sapiens believed that the cure was to wipe out the mutants. All mutants that have been administered slowly healing powers recover. Our dear Rogue will be the same. I've heard so did she. If Xavier had known, he would be very disappointed with his beloved pupil" .
Magneto smiled pleased able to feel his power grows every moment, see the zippo blow up to your hand. That silver zippo with the image of the shark with its jaws open. "I'm glad to see you again, John. I see that even I have a faithful members". Magneto watched as John was coming up the metal table. The pendulum balancing game balls kept hitting each other. John Magneto offered a chair to sit down with a hand movement with the seat moved up sounding the unpleasant sound of metal dragging on the stone floor.
"I wondered where you were John. After what happened in Alcatraz, the whole brotherhood gone. Just I have contact with you and Mystique. Do not you remember anything?. You've Lost my memory, John?". Erik did not tell John the feeling of concern he had about the young mutant and former student of Charles.

The cure didn't work? That was good news, extremely good news. Also meant that the media might have been right after all: Magneto had been hit but was recovering. And the thing with Rogue... she had really gone through with it, then. Pyro remembered his quick meeting with Iceman in front of the cure center, how he was looking for her, trying to hold her back. Unsuccessfully apparently. Bummer. He smiled slightly about how much that must have pissed Bobby off. "Happy to hear that", he said, meaning the whole cure thing not working.
He caught his zippo, then sat down on the metal chair, listening to the old man who was obviously pleased about him being back. But Pyro couldn't help but frown when the infos hit home: The brotherhood was broken apart, all that was left from the large group was them and Mystique? And that news kind of surprised him even more, considering how Magneto had treated her when she had taken a cure-dart aimed for him. "I'm amazed she's even still talking to you..." That woman had no self-respect, it seemed. Of course Pyro was a devoted follower of the master of magnetism but if he had been treated like that... he wouldn't crawl back. Magneto would never do that to him, though, of that he was confident.
Anyways, the old man had questions. But there weren't many answers. "Well, I got knocked out... by Drake." He hated to admit it, to say it loud. But that couldn't really be helped, right? "He's going to pay for that, I assure you." Oh yes, he would. "When I woke up, I was far away from the battle site and everything was over, all I could find out was what the media wrote about it. You being cured, the X-Men victorious, all that crap." He shrugged. "All I did since then, was getting back to the East coast, trying to find you. And here I am..." His eyes moved from Magneto to the moving metal balls and back. "But us three it's all that's left? Seriously?" Not that that hadn't happened before. After Alkali Lake, it had also pretty much just been the three of them. His thoughts went back to Alcatraz. "Why did we lose? What happened?"

"The cure has been a failure. We can not stop the evolution that we, John." Magneto smiled slightly before handing the zippo again, his gun that he was extremely dangerous, playing with fire never been good. "Regarding Mystique the reason I did not want her to follow us, the reason why I did not want to help her was to not put in danger. A human fighting against mutants . You think she would survive?. She behaved like a woman scorned to tell the government my plans. That's a greater betrayal. Don't believe it , John?. Both of us, Mystique and I have been to blame for everything. But I would not allow her embers in danger ". Magneto could rest again in his metal chair, plasma televisions were turned off by his power after he finished the news
"Knocked out by Drake?. Well, you must not to worry, John. Everyone loses once in a lifetime. I have lost but one day the brotherhood will be reborn again. We just need time. We lost by uncontrolled Phoenix . She can be very powerful, but if it does not control her powers, she is useless. Only a mutant with regenerative powers can kill her. Logan did. That's the weak point of Phoenix to destroy it. But we must join forces with the X-Men, You'll come to Westchester school and I will return again to be a professor. And you'll wonder, why?. I've met my friend, Charles. Oh, yes, I is alive. He has cheated death once again. But everything has an explication, John...

Interesting, Magneto felt the need to justify his actions concerning Mystique. That seemed new to Pyro, and it surprised him a bit. Okay, his reasoning was sound, but the way how Magneto had turned away from her at the time... Pyro couldn't help but think, that the old man hat constructed that reasoning later to make his behaviour look better. Anyways, if Mystique could live with the explanation, who was he to question it. So, finally he just nodded, thoughtful, but didn't say anything to it.
He was relieved, though, that Magneto seemed to take the news rather relaxed that he had lost against the Iceman. And at the end of the day Drakes victory hadn't been the decisive reason for losing the battle. It had been Phoenix. Had he won against Bobby, there would have been nothing he could have done against her. She was way too powerful. But before he could say anything to that, Magneto's next words reached his brain and he froze. "What? We're doing what?!" He must have understood that wrong. Magneto wanted to join forces with the X-Men, live at the mansion and fucking teach there?
The fact that Xavier was still among the living seemed a mere side information compared with the rest. He had risked a lot to leave the X-Men, and pretty much everybody hated him there - and now Magneto wanted him to just walk in there again and play nice? Pyro's face made it pretty clear that he was shocked. "Why the hell should I do that? Give me one good reason..." As much as he looked up to the old man, as much as he respected his cause and his resourcefulness, this seemed bizarre and wrong.

[color="Charles always wanted to build bridges" "I know Mystique years and it was my right hand in brotherhood. John. I was not able to send her to death. Moreover, it was useless for the war in Alcatraz. She would only make the kill. I do not need to give more explanations. I think it was necessary that you knew this after your partner have been her. " Erik understand the behavior of John. The news that they would return to Westchester School, the place where his enemies. Erik there to teach young. Charles´s students . Unthinkable for the master of magnetism. But there was a real reason for it. "John, we do an alliance with Xavier and I have good reasons for this. Not to help the homo sapiens, but to help our brothers". Erik increasingly decided at that decision he had spoken with Charles and there was no other way out. Now the most important thing was to get more allies. "One good reason is .... the survival of our brothers. John. I've met with Charles. I can only tell you three names, Apocalypse, Mr. Sinister and Madelyn Pryor. She is a clone of phoenyx. Imagine the disaster that could result in the Earth. I do not care about humans. Even I'd be happy if she killed all homo sapiens on the earth. But this is not so. The mutants are in danger John, this is the reason that I have made an alliance with Charles. you know who is Apocalypse? ". Magneto doubted that the young Pyro known at first mutant there since the beginning of the world "

The old man continued to justify his behavior towards Mystique. Obviously this was important to him. Pyro nodded to signal that he accepted Magneto's explanation and that it was not necessary to discuss it further.
Magneto's next news on the other hand needed some clarification, and lots of it. An alliance? Why? Why on earth should they...? But then the old man started to mention some names and talked about how all the mutants were in danger... Still, weren't they always? What about the cure, that had been dangerous too. Or so they had thought. "A clone of Phoenix?" John frowned. That didn't sound particularly appealing. And no, of course he hadn't heard any of those names before. Pyro shook his head. "But what could possibly so bad that we can't handle it without the help of those X-Men traitors and whelps?" he asked, clearly very much unimpressed about Magneto's plan to join forces with the X-Men.
This Apocalypse guy was probably just another mutant with a huge ego. Who in his right mind would give himself such a name? And 'Mr. Sinister'? Please.

[color="Charles always wanted to build bridges" "Yes, a clone of Phoenix. Nazarian will do everything possible to revive Apocalypse. And if he gets it, I assure you that we will need all possible help to kill it. For this we need to partner with the X men , John. Not only with them, if not all mutants that join forces to destroy the mutant race. Apocalypse is a mutant primitive, a being who believes that humanity needs to be inch cleaning. As one passage of the Apocalypse: " And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and he that sat upon him was named Death, and Hell followed with him , and was given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and with the beasts of the earth" Magneto rose from his chair with a light pulse and looking at the young mutant he asked. "You stand beside me?. If you're not going to be, I think our paths diverge. If you you are, I want to alert all the mutants they can to prepare for battle, they are in alert of what can happen. I will go to Westchester School and I will be Professor there, this will last only until the threat of Apocalypse lasted. We must keep him resurrect the four horsemen, if he does. All mutants will dead". Magneto began to pack to put all the clothes that would lead to Westchester school. "As for Bobby Drake. John, you'll get your chance. Think about the positive side of it, you'll be in close to him, you can get back at what you have done. But please, be careful not to jeopardize mutant children. Remember that protects your once"

Okay, if a mutant as powerful and experienced as Magneto was worried, then this was probably something to take seriously, Pyro decided when Magneto started to quote scripture. Even though he found the whole thing a bit confusing. "Okay, okay, I get it", he raised his hands. "Huge danger, we all have to work together. Of course you can count on me, as always", he assured the leader of the Brotherhood.
"What I don't get, though...", Pyro continued while watching Magneto pack, "...why bother going back to the mansion and being a professor there? Don't we have to go whereever these people are and fight? Teaching Xavier's kids seems like a bombastic waste of time, considering the urgency of the situation you've just described to me..." It just didn't make a lot of sense to Pyro. That, and if there was any way that he didn't have to go back to the school, he would take it. He was not at all keen on living again under the same roof with Drake whose smug face in light of his recent victory he could only imagine...

"I see you have not read the Bible. Mmmm ... if you've been in a concentration camp and after seeing your parents die before his eyes, I'm sure the only thing you can believe and find shelter is in the Bible. John" .Magneto tightly closed bag, he had taken everything could need. Also if he might need more clothes, he would go to the comercial center to buy more. There was no problem, but always in expensives shop. "We must make the effort to try to work together, John. I know it will be hell to be in Westchester surrounded with so many children. But I think you're used to, not you, John?".
"I'll tell you what happens when I talk to Charles. Unfortunately we have to attend meetings X men. You will see an incredible tension in them.'s Going to be exciting. Your if you also attend the meetings, you can of course because you are with me . Although you'll meet with your dear friends. Bobby and Rogue". Magneto put the laptop in his little briefcase.
"The reason why that we move to the mansion is that we should be together and we must teach children that they are prepared, John. You do not know what Apocalypse can make having under his control to clone Fenix . Charles needs help control the power to teach their students. And I think he's going to ask for help, John. And if your problem is Drake. You do not worry, there can have your revenge after your defeat in Alcatraz "

Unfortunately Pyro knew more about the bible than he cared for, thanks to his fanatically religious parents. That's why he wasn't keen on Magneto quoting any more of that stuff. Like when he left the X-Men, he also had had a good reason to run away from home - and no wish to get close to any of these places from his past. But it seemed that at least in case of the X-Men, it was unavoidable. John sighed but readied himself to move out with Magneto.
"As long as I don't have to teach and be around those wimps for too much of a time...", he grumbled. Of course he would attend the meetings, he had left as a student and came back as Magneto's right-hand man. That was something at least. And yeah, he might get his revenge with Bobby, maybe. But since Magneto planned a big peaceful cooperation, he hardly would allow him to go against one of their new 'friends', would he now.
"What I still don't get...", Pyro said while moving out with Magneto, "...do we really have the time for such preparations? Shouldn't we confront the enemy as fast as possible, not giving him more time to follow through with these plans?" The fire mutant still wondered why, if the situation was this dire, they had the time to play house with the X-Men...

"Oh, if you do not want to teach, you do everything. For all children will be trained and control their powers. This is not silly, John. The new enemy that we face is very dangerous. When we got to Westchester teach you who the real 'Apocalypse'. Charles has a lot of information about him. All the X men should meet, the brotherhood should do well and try to work together. I know it's a bit difficult. We have a way of thinking very different from them. "
Magneto weared with a long black coat and black hat with wide brim. He took the suitcase of clothes and the laptop bag. "I can not answer your question, John. Because I do not know. What I know is that we should not lose more time. There in Westchester help children to defend themselves and fight. The moment is the only thing we can do. We can not confront the enemy because we need more troops. If you want to be the apostle to go to extend the world apocalypse arrival, instead of staying in Westchester. You are free, my friend". Magneto smiled a bit looking to young man.

Okay... teach the wimps how to use their powers... that already sounded a bit more interesting. Prepare them for battle... yeah, that was something he could do. And trying to provoke his old 'friends' could be fun too - obviously they were not strong enough to go at this Apocalypse guy alone. He nodded while Magneto spoke. "Yeah, different thinking, you could say that." He still remembered the professor's ethics lessons very well.
"Well, I guess I can help train them... and of course I'll join you for the meetings. You need at least some Brotherhood backup in there, right?" He smirked. Otherwise the X-Wimps might try to convince the old man that cuddling the enemy to death might be a working strategy - not that he seriously worried that the master of magnetism would go for that.
Unlike Magneto who had some stuff to take along, St. John had come with nothing but the clothes on his body, so he was immediately ready to go and followed the Brotherhood leader out of the house. And despite his initial uneasyness with this whole idea, parts of it started to grow on him. He already imagined the look on Drake's face when he suddenly strolled into the mansion...
